Giveaway: An Adorable Kate Spade Bag and a Bookstore Giftcard!

I know you all like cute bags and book shopping, and with the response to prior giveaways involving books and bags, and with the most excellent results of sale shopping, I have another Kate Spade tote and a bookstore giftcard to give away!

(I’ll be honest – it’s really fun to plan giveaways and pick out things that I am pretty sure you’ll be excited about.)

I have a very cute Kate Spade tote bag, the Gallery Drive Small Harmony in multi – which is a print made of overlapping grey and pink polka dots on a black background.

Kate Spade Gallery Drive tote bag with pink and grey polka dots on it

Isn’t it adorable? And it’s plenty big to hold all sorts of necessary things. Here are the official specs:

  • 9.9″ (25.14cm) high x 11.9″ (30.22cm) wide x 6.2″ (15.74cm) deep
  • handle drop is 9″ (that’s the space between the top of the handle and the top of the bag itself – and that’s plenty of room to put this tote over your shoulder)
  • it’s not leather – it’s glazed fabric so it’s sturdy enough to stand up on its own, but not too heavy to carry

And, since there’s plenty of room inside, I’m including a $50.00 giftcard to the bookstore of the winner’s choosing. Woo! Fill it with books! All the books!

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway except that I got to go shopping online which means I didn’t have to wear shoes or real pants. Void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Must be over 18 and ready to carry some or all of the things, including the books you like best. Stop drop and roll. In the event of an actual clearance sale, all items will be immediately placed in the shopping cart and all discount codes available worldwide will be automatically applied (wouldn’t that be nice). Mind the gap and the handle drop, too. Comments will close Friday 8 July 2016 and winner announced same day. Please note that due to international travel, prize will be shipped after July 16, 2016.

Ready to enter? Leave a comment and let me know what book you’d buy first if you won. Good luck!

ETA: We have a winner: Peggy H! Congratulations, Peggy, and thank you to everyone who entered!

I”d buy my husband this book that is about to come out called The Time Siege. He is looking forward too so much that he reserved a copy.

  2. Linda says:

This is kind of boring, but I am beyond hyped about Sarah Kuhn’s Heroine Complex. To be honest, I might just buy it the day it comes out anyway so maybe that wouldn’t be the first thing I buy.

I’m currently working my way steadily through Meredith Duran’s backlog though.

  3. Konst. says:

I’d buy two copies of “Heroine complex” one for me and the other one for my boss, because she kicks-ass and is also one of my best friends and use to call me Wonder Woman 😉

  4. Nat says:

I’d buy Nalini Singh’s lastest release Allegiance of Honor.

  5. Ash G says:

Elena Ferrante – my brilliant friend 🙂

  6. bev says:

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

    Definitely the Hamiltome!

    Textbooks for the new quarter.

  9. Julienne says:

    Laura Kinsale’s Lessons in French.

  10. Lostshadows says:

Well, since I’m planning to buy Rise, by Mira Grant today (24% off coupon at B&N today only), I’d probably buy Deadline and Blackout with it.

  11. Brandy says:

I recently checked When Books Went to War out at the library, and I enjoyed it so much that I added it to my wishlist as soon as I finished. That’s the book I’d buy first.

  12. Francesca says:

Either The Long Weekend by Adrian Tinniswood or the manga of Hellsing.

  13. Andrea2 says:

I’d buy “As Death Draws Near” by Anna Lee Huber, because my library system doesn’t have it on order yet and I can’t miss the latest installment of the series. If the library does order it, I’ll be putting it on reserve asap and then I’ll buy the next item on my neverending list – “Pages of the Mind” by Jeffe Kennedy.

  14. Taryn says:

I’d preorder the new Mary Robinette Kowal book Ghost Talkers!

  15. Jill Smith says:

For some reason I’ve been holding off on buying “The Shattered Court,” so that’s the one I’d start with…

  16. Ruth says:

Rise of the Rocket Girls by Nathalia Holt!

  17. Sarah, I’m dying to buy Mary Balogh’s OOP read Regencies in print.

  18. Helen R-S says:

I’d buy Storm Clouds by Bronwyn Parry.

  19. Lizzie R says:

Allegiance of Honour (the british version).

  20. Samantha says:

I’d totally get Forevermore by Kristen Callihan. Hopefully the series will end satisfyingly.

  21. Amy says:

I would buy Elizabeth Hoyt”s latest book I keep waiting for the library to get it.

  22. SandyH says:

I would buy Jane Castle’s Illusion Town and Anna Lee Huber’s As Death Draws Near.

  23. Maria says:

I’d use it to start Monica McCarty’s highland warrior series.

  24. I could be sensible and buy text books, but I like using gift cards for fun books. Maybe In the Unlikely Event (Judy Blume)?

  25. Sophydc says:

I have to go with “Heroine Complex” by Sarah Kuhn. I just read about it and it sounds awesome!

  26. Susan Neace says:

I periodically reread my Georgette Heyer romances, many of which were acquired when I had little money. The Toll Gate and The Reluctant Widow are missing front covers and the pages are falling out of The Unknown Ajax. I’d replace those 3, Ajax first.

  27. Heidi says:

I’d buy Glorious Heresies b Lisa McIerney — sounded so intriguing, especially this description of the author: glorious, foul-mouthed, fizzing new talent! You had me at foul-mouthed 😉

  28. Cat G says:

All In by Simona Ahrnstedt. I wanted to buy it after RHG reviewed it here, but it was too expensive for my budget.

  29. Megan Larsen says:

I’d finish out my collection of the Outlander books in paper.

  30. fullybooked says:

Every Heart A Doorway saw a re for it somewhere but it doesnt fit my budget right now

Rock Wedding by Nalini Singh is the most recent book added to my wish list! Happy 4th!

  32. Abby says:

I’d buy Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld.

  33. Kris says:

I’d buy the latest Nalini Singh.

  34. Amy says:

Toss up between Hamilton and the next book in the Luce series.

  35. Heather B says:

The first book I’d buy would be an Italian phrase book. My husband and I just booked our 10th anniversary trip to Rome and London, and I need to learn at least a little travelers/ Italian. 🙂

  36. Lynda says:

I’ve been driving a lot lately, so it would actually be the audiobook of The Blue Sword. It’s my favorite comfort book, and sometimes you need that after a crappy day!

  37. Carla says:

    I’m excited about Heroine Complex!

  38. Patricia M says:

Some Courtney Milan, a couple of Nalini Singh books, some ebooks where I already have paper since I want immediate access at all times (Mary Balogh’s series with the Duke of Bewcastle), so many to chose from . . .

  39. kitkat9000 says:

Ebooks from my favorite authors so that I can have all of their books literally at my fingertips. Let’s see, there are some Andrews, Duran’s, Balogh’s, Hoyt’s, and some others all of which I need. L

The bag is adorable and would get quite the workout. Thanks for the chance to win it.
