Welcome to Wednesday Links! This week we have some romance news, an awesome Instagram account to follow, and a call for help!
If you missed the announcement, RT Book Reviews will begin its transition to an all-digital format:
I loved the RT print magazine, and in a way I am sad to see it end, but we exist in a new world now and information about our community needs to be collected more quickly and efficiently. As you will discover, this new format allows us to showcase more content for your smartphones and computers than we ever imagined, and it will be exciting for you to watch it grow.
Aside from going completely digital, there will also be a “membership” portal for those who had originally purchased a print subscription.

I discovered this amazing Instagram account and I am just in awe. Bewitchedquills is run by a 17-year-old young woman who turns herself into popular female film characters.
Though her Scarlett O’Hara is my personal favorite, she’s also done Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby, and others!

If you were bummed that you couldn’t snag a copy of Ladies of Literature Vol. 2, you might be pleased to know a couple of the artists have started another illustrated anthology project! This time, they’re tackling siblings! From television to mythology, over fifty-five artists are illustrating their favorite siblings. The book is due out this summer!

This Sunday is our May Movie Matinee! Join us for a discussion on The Shop Around the Corner!
Oscar-winner James Stewart is a Budapest store clerk who finds himself feuding with his co-worker, Oscar-nominee Margaret Sullavan, only to unknowingly fall in love with her. Lastly, if you’ve listened to the podcast, you know our music comes from Sassy Outwater. Sassy’s undergoing treatment for brain cancer and needs help, as cancer is the worst, most financially draining full time job – as many of you know! She’s been an advocate for cancer patients, blind and visually impaired people, and musicians for most of her life.
Right now, she really needs help with day-to-day expenses like rent and food for herself and her most excellent guide dog, Ferdinand, while managing her treatment and the increasingly awful side effects. Redheadedgirl has set up a GoFundMe account to help with these expenses. If you can spare any amount to help her, it would make a world of difference.

Don’t forget to share what super cool things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!

I found this website in 2008 when I was recovering from multiple strokes and began to participate in 2009 while undergoing surgery and chemo for breast cancer. I am happy to contribute to someone in this community which brightened up a very difficult time in my own life.
@Francesca: Thank you so much for you comment! It means a lot that we were a bright spot during that time and I hope things are well now.
I love Beauty and the Beast retellings – it’s my favorite fairy tale. Thank you!
More than halfway to goal in three days. Romance community rocks!
