My Adipose stress toy. It’s so adorable and squishy that just touching it makes me smile. Also it’s great as a paper weight.

I got a little pink ceramic pot in the $3 area of Target that is just the right size to keep track of my favorite pens, a small scissor, a couple stylus and my glasses.
The cup that I keep pens and other useful things in. It keeps me from spending time looking for pens, pencils, scissors.
Staple remover! I know if that’s what it’s called but it’s super useful.
I have one of those magazine holders on my desk. It started out white but I spray painted it pink. The best part though is that it’s metal so I can stick magnets on it. It’s covered with swag.
Post it notes. I would forget everything.
I just discovered the amazing and addictive world of fountain pens and now my desk is littered with them. They are pretty and particular and I love them.
it’s a very simple but cheap thing and actually, it’s something that I won from an author giveaway but I use it every day! It’s a safety letter opener. Cheap plastic but sooo handy! Thanks for sharing!

Three tape dispensers..because, tape (shipping, scotch and moshi) is my life. It gives me the illusion of control which is sooo important!
Always pens…too too many! And loving to indulge my quest for pretty inexpensive notebooks.
The most useful thing on my desk is my pencil sharpener! That thing gets a better workout then I do!
Pencil case’s I use them constantly to keep all the little bits of stuff organize like USB sticks.
Purple pens! I’m a schoolteacher and I use purple pens for grading, so they are always at hand.
My high heeled tape dispenser – cute and functional!
I bought this giant gold bulldog tape holder. Everyone now calls him tape dog but no matter what the tape dispenser never gets broken and we always know where it is.
Definitely my notebook! It’s small enough that I can take it with me everywhere I go. I can take notes, write scenes, ignore the people around me on the subway…it’s the perfect tool for work AND play.
The most useful thing on my desk are my post-it notes, all sizes, all colors.
The old DVD spindle that I use as a mic stand. It was free, does exactly what I need it to do and somehow looks pretty neat.

My stapler! Love to staple stuff together all nice and neat.
My favorite thing on my desk is a nice pen with great weight and balance and a really smooth flow.

I am loving the pics my kids drew for me that I hung up on my office wall. When the going gets tough, they put a smile on my face 🙂
I was going to say ‘multiple pens’, but realistically it’s chocolate.
My head set. I spend A LOT of time on hold. I finally convinced a boss that I could do so much more if I didn’t have to hold the hand set between my ear and shoulder while trying to accomplish something other than staring at the wall. I used to spend 40 minutes thinking about everything I could accomplish if I could reach the copier, or use both hands to type.
My fave thing is my Ikea lamp, very cute design!

I have a pretty basket from Target where I place unpaid bills, return address labels, and stamps. I also place anything that I don’t want to lose, such as unused gift cards, in this basket. It’s cut down on fruitless searching for important smallish paper items.
