To celebrate Nalini Singh’s fifteenth (whoa!) book in her Psy-Changeling series, Allegiance of Honor, we have some advanced reader copies to give away!

Allegiance of Honor is what Nalini called in an October 2015 blog post her “ensemble cast book where everyone comes back.” I know a lot of readers are anticipating this one! Here’s the cover copy:

A staggering transformation has put the Psy, humans, and changelings at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: old enemies, new allies, wary loners.

But a century of distrust and suspicion can’t be so easily forgotten, and it threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman’s cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: a child who is both Psy…and changeling.

To find the lost and protect the vulnerable—and to save Trinity—no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honor even possible with traitors lurking in their midst?

  1. Christine says:

Visions of Heat, with Kiss of Snow a close second!

  2. Iswari Sharma says:

The very first one, Slave to Sensation, is still my ultimate favorite!

  3. Beth says:

I have to say my favorites are Sasha and Lucas from the first book. Also loved Riley and Mercy from the wolf-cat crossover.

  4. ReneeG says:

So many favorites!!! I keep coming back to Caressed by Ice because I love the strength of both leads, but I also love Vasic and his story in Shield. Argh!

    Maybe my favorite is what I’m reading now . . . .

  5. Kate L says:

Sorry can’t comply with a favorite book or even a fave character. I guess from the beginning I’ve found the Psy the most fascinating: Sasha, Faith, the entire Lauren family, and the Psy-Psy focused story lines in the most recent books. But I’ve obsessed about all of the books and reread them at different points when I need the feel of community and family-bonds that are a hallmark of Nalini Singh’s storytelling.

  6. Sarah Williams says:

My personal favorite is Mine to Possess. Clay is an alphahole but for some reason I LOVE it!

  7. Missy_G says:

I love all her books, it is hard to pick a favorite. I love Clay & Tally’s book Mine to Possess and Heart of Obsidian but I re-read the whole series multiple times. Cannot wait for Allegiance of Honor!

  8. SamC says:

Slave to Sensation – the first one is my fav of all 11 or so of the series I’ve read. I just loved the dynamic between the couple and it’s not as triggery as some of her later books are.

  9. Pam says:

Heart of Obsidian. I didn’t think I could like Kaleb and ended up in love!

  10. Zsofia says:

I really can’t choose. It is impossible, I’m sorry. But I’ll say my top 5: Heart of Obsidian, Kiss of Snow, Play Of Passion, Branded by Fire, Slave to Sensation. But nearly all of the stories in the series are favorites, as I have a no. 1 author: Nalini Singh! 😉

  11. Becky L-S says:

It’s like picking your favorite child, you love them all differently. But since I’m forced to pick I’ll have to go with Heart of Obsidian. I didn’t think it would be possible to redeem a character like Kaleb, but Singh did it.

  12. MD says:

Slave to Sensation remains my favourite, even though all of them are good.

  13. Sally says:

Caressed by Ice, with Slave to Sensation running a close second.

  14. Natalie G says:

My favorite character is Kaleb, because he is not really good man but does do good things. My favorite books are Heart of Obsidian and Mine to Possess (in part because I’m sucker for kids who grow up to become lovers/partners). But I’ll reread any of them happily.

  15. Issa says:

Heat of Obsidian Hands Down. I’ve read it so many times I can’t even count. I didn’t have much of an opinion of Kaleb until that book and he and Sahara just worked for me on all levels. I find I like the Psy characters the best in the series so its no surprise really.

  16. Jill B says:

The first three books were my favorite, but I also have a soft spot for Mercy and Riley in Branded by Fire.

  17. Ann says:

I loved Heart of Obsidian. Great story and couple!

  18. Alex says:

My favorite character is Judd (obv) – Caressed by Ice is my second favorite book –

But my favorite book in the series is Heart of Obsidian. Like, that book was life changing for me. I honestly never recovered from reading it and am not allowed to have it on any device or I’ll just sit there and read over and over.

I actually have quite a bit of it memorized :/

  19. Jessica says:

I love Caleb, but I haven’t read a book in the series that I hated!

  20. Gloriamarie Amalfitano says:

I have not been able to read any of the books in the series because they are not in the public libraries and Sigh’s e-books are priced well above my budgeted amount. I am 100% positive that I will love the books because there is one and only one book by her in my library system. Or it may even only be a short story read in the Big Book og Paranormal Romance.

  21. Texas Book Lover says:

Oh my how I love this series!!! From the moment I picked up Slave To Sensation I fell hard for Lucas and I still love every moment he’s on the page. Kiss of Snow and Heart of Obsidian are my other favorites books. Hawke and Kaleb are total badasses!

  22. Naomi says:

A single favorite is tricky, but I really like Tangle of Need, Adria & Riaz’s book.

  23. Nancy says:

In the time it has taken me to write this sentence I have changed my opinion several times. Tangle of Need? Mine to Possess? Bonds of Justice? Errr… I’ll go with Blaze of Memory as Dev is so good yet so bad – just like all of Singh’s awesome heros are! But he also fed Katya yummy fruit smoothies…

  24. Susan says:

    My favorite character is Mercy.

  25. Rebe says:

Definitely Slave to Sensation! I love that book!

  26. Kate Y says:

It is very hard to pick, but one of the ones right up at the top for me is Kiss of Snow with Sienna and Hawk. So completely awesome!!! ^_^ That said, when I go on a rereading spree I usually end up rereading them all because I don’t want to leave any out (yes my paperbacks are very worn). I love the connections and sense of community between all the characters.

  27. Ruthg says:

Probably kiss of snow or heart of obsidian are my favorites. Ther haven’t been that meany I didn’t love.

  28. NickiH says:

My favorite book changes depending on which one I’ve recently re-read, currently it’s Play of Passion but all the them are wonderful.

  29. Ann Lorz says:

I love the whole series but my favorite character is Kaleb Krychek. And of course his book is my all time favorite, Heart of Obsidian!

  30. Valerie Valicento says:

    Shards of Hope

  31. Alex says:

Shards of hope 🙂 I love aiden and zaira

  32. Jennifer McCormick says:

Kiss Of Snow for sure, Hawke and Sienna we amazing, waited forever for that book!!!!

  33. danielle bush says:

I love all of them but slave to sensation is my favorite. It was the first I read and after I was hooked. 🙂

  34. Kelly says:

A favorite character? AHH that is such a hard question. Kaleb? Judd? Lucas? Hawke? I mean choosing a favorite is almost impossible with the amazing characters Nalini Singh created. But for my favorite book I’d probably choose Heart of Obsidian. Loved that we got a lot of questions finally answered.

  35. Janayne6 says:

My favourite book is Kiss of Snow and my favourite characters is Hawke, because he’s hard-core and sweet at the same time 🙂

  36. erinf1 says:

Brenna and Jude!!!! closely followed by Sienna and Hawke 🙂 love, love, love this series! Thanks for sharing!

  37. Michele says:

Heart of Obsidian has my favorite coupling, Mercy and Riley come a close second.

  38. Sally says:

As a psychologist who knows and values the importance of emotion, my favorite will always be Sascha because she fought to understand herself. And of course, love Lucas for being that safe place for her to be herself!

  39. Gigi says:

My favorite character is Kaleb Krycheck and my favorite book is his story Heart Of Obsidian. I actually picked this one first before realizing it was a series. It was also my first ONE. So this was my gateway book into PNR.

  40. Tamara Yunker says:

Wow?? Favorite?? All of them but first one that came to mind: Kiss of Snow
