Allegiance of Honor is what Nalini called in an October 2015 blog post her “ensemble cast book where everyone comes back.” I know a lot of readers are anticipating this one! Here’s the cover copy:
A staggering transformation has put the Psy, humans, and changelings at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: old enemies, new allies, wary loners.
But a century of distrust and suspicion can’t be so easily forgotten, and it threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman’s cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: a child who is both Psy…and changeling.
To find the lost and protect the vulnerable—and to save Trinity—no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honor even possible with traitors lurking in their midst?

I was sucked in from the first book with Lucas and Sasha and it is still my favorite!!!
Vaughn and Faith are my favorite reread. But, I do love them all. I just finished listening to the whole series on audio and it was great!
Whoa! Pick one?? Hard choice but it boils down to Judd & Brenna in Caressed by Ice & / Dorian and Ashaya in Hostage. …. Would be Brenna & Judd for the win! .
It is hard to say which is my favorite. So, I will list the 3 titles I re-read the most- Caressed by Ice, Branded by Fire, and Shield of Winter!
They’re all great…but I love Aden!
Oh, this is hard. I have enjoyed all of the Psy-Changeling books, but I would have to say that Kiss of Snow is my favourite, with Heart of Obsidian coming in as a very close second.
@Lizzie R
That one was my favorite too until Kaleb and Vasic came along. But it is still probably my most re-read book.
It so much depends on what mood I’m in. I love Caleb and Sahara’s story in Heart of Obsidian. But if I want lighter, I go to one of the novellas, like Secrets at Midnight in Night Shift.
My favorite is Careesed by Ice, I just think Judd is the best.
still love the first one best:)
Play of Passion for the romance but I also love learning about the Psy-Changeling world and history so my favorite in that sense is Shards of Hope
I have recently been doing a re-read of several of the books in the series. I finish one and have to grab another immediately, regardless of the stack of library books which will be due soon. This is hard but Judd stands out since he had the hardest fight internally to get to a place where he could connect with others. However I probably would vote for the Ghost since he toppled the entire world for love.
I would say Brenna and Judd are my favs with Sascha and Lucas a close second. I love Brenna and Judd because they were both damaged in their own way and helped each other heal!
Of all the books I think Heart of Obsidian is the best….it is so well plotted and Kaleb and Sahara are magnificent!
But, my favorite book is Caressed by Ice and my favorite character would be the Arrows, especially Judd. I also love the children, the moments with them are very sweet.
I am very excited about the new book!
Play of Passion, although several others are a close second and depending on mood could easily be favourite on another day!
My favorite is Caressed by Ice. I love how Judd and Brenna end up saving each other from the worst parts of themselves.
Branded by Fire. It’s time for a re-read to catch back up, though!
That is a heard one but I will say Branded by Fire because Mercy is my favorite character
I cannot chose just one, but I really like Shards of Hope. I like people discovering their emotions!
I enjoy them all, but if I have to pick a favorite, it would be Mercy and Riley’s story, Branded by Fire.
🙂
This is hard, but I’d say Mercy’s or Indigo’s stories.
Thanks for offering this!
Favorite book: Carressed by Ice because holy cow, Judd is just so awesome.
I do love me some Kaleb though…seeing his story play out over the books was great.
Omg, this is so awesome. I love each and every book in the series…heck I love everything Nalini Singh writes. But my fav is Slave to Sensation. It’s what started my obsession <3 Till this day I fangirl whenever I catch a glimpse of Lucas and Sasha in the rest of the series <3
I have a ridiculous love of Judd in these books.
I don’t know why I love the Psy characters so much. All that glorious repression… 😉
I love them all so much, too many wonderful books to choose from. That said, Slave to Sensation will always hold a special place in my heart, because it was the one that started us on this awesome journey.
I still love Slave to Sensation the most, even though I love the whole series. Lucas and Sascha will always be my favorites.
I reread Tammy and Nate’s novella, Beat of Temptation, pretty frequently so if I have to pick a favorite, I’ll go with that. I also love Slave to Sensation as an introduction to the whole series. And Heart of Obsidian. And…I’m just gonna stop now.
Heart of Obsidian is by far my favorite then again I do love so many!
My favorite is Tangle of Need. As much as I’ve enjoyed the Psy-Changeling series, it always bothered me that if someone was rejected by or lost their mate, it seemed like they’d never be able to fall in love again. It was nice to see Nalini Singh go a different route with this book.
My favorite is Caressed by Ice. I loved Brenna and Judd’s story.
My favorite heroine is Indigo, for sure. It was really refreshing to have a woman in the greater position of power within the pack. I think my favorite book though is Caressed by Ice, with Judd and Brenna.
Bonds of Justice. I also loved Heart of Obsidian and Shards of Hope.
Unsurprisingly, Sophia is probably my favourite character, followed by Kaleb and Zaira. Learning feelings!
Mercy and Riley and Sienna and Hawke! I absolutely LOVE this series!!!
This is so hard and so timely because I am in the middle of a reread of the series (just finished Kiss of Snow). I don’t know if I can choose just one . . . but if I must, maybe Play of Passion. I love everything about Drew. Or Caressed by Ice, because I adore Judd and Brenna together. But honestly, I have enjoyed them all.
MINE TO POSSESS with Clay and Talin is the story I could re-read forever.
Echoing so many other people, it is really hard to pick! If I had to though, I think I would pick Ashaya as my favourite character – gotta love a scientist! Favourite book is even tougher but I think probably Shards of Hope – I love stories of growth and redemption and this one was a long time coming (stopping there because of spoilers!).
Heart of Obsidian, Kaleb is everything.
My favorite of the series is definitely Caressed by Ice because…Judd. While I love the Changeling romances, I am partial to any books with Psy heroes/heroines. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
Hm… I think my favorite so far is Tangle of Need–I love that it’s kind of a friends-to-lovers, and it fascinated me how the whole mate thing wasn’t quite as cut and dried as it seemed in the earlier books.
Slave to Sensation, the start of it all. The beginning of my addiction to just about anything that Nalini Singh writes!!
