The Theory of Attraction

RECOMMENDED: The Theory of Attraction by Delphine Dryden is $1.99 at Amazon and $2.99 elsewhere. I really enjoyed this book, and this series, and if you like contemporary BDSM erotic romance with very thoughtful characters, you’ll probably like this. As Amanda quoted me when she posted this deal:
I’m really finicky when it comes to erotic romance, especially romance with BDSM, and I thought this story was an excellent blend of erotic tension and character development. Plus the hero is really fascinating. This is a terrific… read – I hope you’ll give it a try.
The cover is still really weirdly composed, though.
Camilla can set her watch by her hunky rocket-scientist neighbor who jogs past her window each day. She relishes each glimpse of his shirtless abs, and is dying to see more. But it’s hard to connect with a man who doesn’t seem to know she exists…
Ivan feels at home in the lab, not in social situations. When he finally approaches his attractive neighbor, it’s not for a date—he wants tutoring in how to behave at an important fundraiser. Ivan doesn’t expect the chemistry between them to be quite so explosive, and is surprised when Cami actually accepts his proposal to embark on a series of “lessons.”
Cami soon discovers Ivan’s schedule isn’t the only thing he likes to be strict about—he needs to be charge in the bedroom as well. She’s shocked at how much she comes to enjoy her submissive side, but wonders if a real relationship is in the equation…

Sweetest Scoundrel by Elizabeth Hoyt is still $2.99! This is book nine in the Maiden Lane series, which is a favorite with many romance readers. I heard a LOT of people talking about this book and the whole series at RT.
Elyse was pretty excited about this release last November. It has a 3.9-star rating on Goodreads.
SHE’S TAKING CHARGE
Prim, proper, and thrifty, Eve Dinwoody is all business when it comes to protecting her brother’s investment. But when she agrees to control the purse strings of London’s premier pleasure garden, Harte’s Folly, she finds herself butting heads with an infuriating scoundrel who can’t be controlled.
HE’S RUNNING THE SHOW
Bawdy and bold, Asa Makepeace doesn’t have time for a penny-pinching prude like Eve. As the garden’s larger-than-life owner, he’s already dealing with self-centered sopranos and temperamental tenors. He’s not about to let an aristocratic woman boss him around . . . no matter how enticing she is.
BUT LOVE CONQUERS ALL
In spite of her lack of theatrical experience-and her fiery clashes with Asa-Eve is determined to turn Harte’s Folly into a smashing success. But the harder she tries to manage the stubborn rake, the harder it is to ignore his seductive charm and raw magnetism. There’s no denying the smoldering fire between them-and trying to put it out would be the greatest folly of all . . .

Coming Back by Lauren Dane is $1.99 – and a graceful curtsey to to Reader Ellie for the heads up about this sale. This is an erotic contemporary romance with a menage, and the third book in the Ink & Chrome series. Elyse really enjoyed the first book in this series, too. Fans of Dane’s triad/menage romances really enjoyed this one.
The men of Twisted Steel are great with their hands.
And they’re not afraid to get dirty.
Mick Roberts, the newest partner at Twisted Steel’s custom hotrod and motorcycle shop, looks like a man with everything. But secretly he still craves the connection he lost when his best friend Adam and the love of his life Jessilynn walked out. Then, he wasn’t ready for the pleasure they promised. Now, things have changed.
Rich, powerful, and insatiable, Adam Gulati is used to getting what he wants. And there’s nothing he wants more than Mick and Jessi. He hasn’t seen either in over a year, but the second he sets eyes on them again his memories-and his desires-can’t be denied.
After trying to live without them, Jessi Franklin realized no one else can satisfy her like Adam and Mick. The three of them need one another-in more ways than one. It’s time to stop pretending and submit to the hunger they all share. But once they go down this road, there’s no turning back. As deeply devoted as they are, no one knows what great bliss their forbidden fantasy will find-or the price they may pay . . .

RECOMMENDED: The Lady Hellion by Joanna Shupe is still $1.99! The first two books in the series are also on sale, and Redheadedgirl loved them as well! RHG reviewed the book last year and gave it an A-:
The heroine in The Lady Hellion is Lady Sophia Barnes, the daughter of a Marquess… and sometimes known as Sir Stephen Radcliffe, a young pup of a dude who shows up at gaming hells and brothels while investigating missing women. (YES IT IS A CROSS-DRESSING TROPE YAY). She’s known Quint forever, and held a torch for him for at least that long. He’s also held a torch for her, so we also have two idiots who can’t use their fucking words.
I love a good “Can’t use their fucking words” story in the hands of a good writer.
A rabble rouser for justice, Sophie’s latest mission is to fight for the rights of the poor, the wretched–and the employees at Madame Hartley’s brothel. She’s not concerned about the criminals who will cross her path, for Sophie has mastered the art of deception–including the art of wearing trousers. Now her fate is in her own hands, along with a loaded gun. All she needs is instruction on how to shoot it. But only one person can help her: Lord Quint, the man who broke her heart years ago. The man she won’t let destroy her again…
The last thing Damien Beecham, Viscount Quint, needs is an intrusion on his privacy, especially from the beautiful, exasperating woman he’s never stopped wanting. A woman with a perilously absurd request, no less. For Damien is fighting a battle of his own, one he wishes to keep hidden–along with his feelings for Lady Sophia. Yet that fight is as hopeless as stopping her outlandish plan. Soon all Quint knows for certain is that he will die trying to protect her…

Yet again I ask, what part of her body is he kissing in The Theory of Attraction? Every time I see that cover I’m mesmerized trying to figure out.
I’ll put in a plug for the Lauren Dane book. I’m a huge fan, but I thought Ink & Chrome was one of her strongest series in recent memory.
I’m with Kati. The woman’s leg (?) is growing out of her rib cage.
It might be somebody else’s body part, but since menage is not part of the story I’m inclined to think that it is the back of her left leg which is pulled up and across her right leg. Notice that there seems to be a bit of her right leg extended beyond where he’s kissing (wherever that is).
On Amazon, Eloisa James’ Much Ado About You is 1.99 and Kiss Me, Annabel is 3.99.
It’s either her third arm or a Subway sandwich on the cover of Theory of Attraction. No other way it works.
Ink and Chrome doesn’t sound like my kind of series, but that cover is gorgeous. I’m such a pushover for a pretty cover.
@Kati: Yoga is your answer… 😉
Anyone else having trouble purchasing the Dryden ebook from BN? I’ve been trying for two weeks to buy this book. I click on instant purchase and nothing happens, so I try to add to my bag and I’m told I already own this book. But its not in my library.
