That is the Kate Spade Clement Street Blair bag in straw. It’s 11.7” tall by 12.5” wide, and 5.5” in diameter. The handle drop (this is a crucial number for me when handbag shopping – it’s the distance between the top of the handle and the top edge of the bag) is 9”. You can easily carry this bag over your shoulder. It has two interior pockets and a wide bottom so it’ll stand up on its own.
And it’s CUTE.

If I were to win this bag full of books, I’d tote it down to the beach where I would try my hardest to keep my butt planted until I was brown as can be and had worked my way through all 24 books! This would be an amazing summer.
Oh, what a cute bag! I would carry it EVERYWHERE with me- but ideally somewhere warm and sunny, a lovely beach or grassy knoll that I could spend an afternoon in the sun enjoying a great book!
I’d carry it to the beach of course – probably to one of my favorite neighborhood beaches in Chicago.
If I’m totally honest, I would probably carry my books into work where I would discreetly read them under the desk and between stops on the Bookmobile.
My perfect place to read? Next to the Lake at my in-laws’ summer place in New Hampshire. Wonderful breezy porch, view of the Lake – it’s just right.
I’d carry it everywhere, it’s a great summer bag! I love to read in the hammock my backyard under the shade tree weather permitting, or curled up on my couch.
My bag full o’books goes with me to the front porch whereupon I shall watch my spouse mow the yard whilst I read and do some creative envisioning.
It’s a nice short trip out my backdoor to the pool, which is my preferred summer reading spot.

I’d carry my bag of books to the family farm. There’s a shade tree by the main pasture that has been my favorite outdoor reading spot since I was just a kid.
TBH, I’d carry the bag everywhere, but the books would stay at home. My days of lugging paper books are over, thank goodness and Kindle. 🙂

I’d carry my books to my parents camp, and read on the deck while the kids play.
I would do like I’ve done every summer since I was 13. Use that bag for all my summer excursions and keep a romance novel in it at all times, the more lurid the cover the better! I can pop it out and read whenever opportunity strikes. I read my romance novels with pride!
