Giveaway: A Kate Spade Tote Filled with 24 Harlequin Series Titles!

A beige and white striped straw tote with a big fabric bow stuffed with harlequin titles

Harlequin has a new website to share free eBooks: RomanceWhenYouNeedIt.com. Yay! Free reading! And to celebrate, they’d like to give away a Kate Spade bag full of 24 copies of Harlequin series titles.

Nice combination, right?  I love this bag – take a look:

That is the Kate Spade Clement Street Blair bag in straw. It’s 11.7” tall by 12.5” wide, and 5.5” in diameter. The handle drop (this is a crucial number for me when handbag shopping – it’s the distance between the top of the handle and the top edge of the bag) is 9”. You can easily carry this bag over your shoulder. It has two interior pockets and a wide bottom so it’ll stand up on its own.

And it’s CUTE.

Plus, it’ll come with 24 Harlequin series titles to keep you busy for most of the summer. Yay!

A shirtless muscular cowboy with one foot in a handbag - romance wherever you are, when you need it. Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. Void where prohibited. open to US residents (sorry, sorry!). Must be over 18 and ready to tote and read. Closer cover before striking. Do not put books into washing machine. There is no hidden message to be revealed by reading this disclaimer backwards though it may produce some compelling avant-garde poetry. Reheat at 350 for 25 minutes covered with foil. Comments will close Friday 29 April at noon, and winner will be announced later that same day.

Big thanks to Harlequin for the bag and the books, and don’t forget – to sample free eBooks from Harlequin, visit RomanceWhenYouNeedIt.com.

I would carry my new tote full of books from room to room. I babysit my adorable grandbaby, but even she can’t be cute every minute of the day. So, I always need to travel to new locations with new men… I’m not a slut, but I do like to pretend I am.

  2. J says:

Onto the patio and under the lilacs, with a beer, on a lovely spring/summer day.

  3. kitkat9000 says:

Already, there are so many lovely suggestions. Mine isn’t, just realistic.

I would carry that bag straight into my house and sit it atop my bed instead of my second set of pillows. Where I will be recovering from (invasive) surgery. Thanks, Endo!

Also, thanks for the chance to win.

  4. Anna says:

I would carry it to my secret island in Florida. I’d tell you, but then I’d have to kill you.

  5. LSUReader says:

I love reading in my recliner, in the sunniest corner of the den. As for the bag–I would definitely take it to the library. Thanks for the giveaway.

  6. Penny says:

In my fantasies, French, California, and New England beaches….Texas in summertime is brutal. In reality, I’d take it to bookstores, lunch, dinner, shopping, errands, work, etc. 🙂

  7. Sukari says:

This looks like a perfect bag for a picnic. But I would actually end up using it to carry all my reading accoutrements (water, snacks, alternate book, pillow, hat, throw, sunblock, cell phone) out to my deck chair for a lazy afternoon read…

  8. Jas says:

The park near my house. That is my weekend plan for the summer.

  9. Lozza says:

This summer will be the first time we’ve ever taken our kids on a real vacation- we’re going to the beach with family. I’d love to take advantage of free family babysitting to sit on the sand and read!

  10. JennyOH says:

    Hells yeah! Awesome giveaway!

Got to take advantage of leaving 10 mins from the beach so I have a feeling this bag would be accompanying me there (although it’s almost too pretty to take to the beach!)

  11. eleine c. says:

Everywhere! I like to take every opportunity available to read. Waiting to be interviewed next for a job? *whips out a book* on time at the meeting place with no one else in sight? Hello, nook. Buy favorite would always be on my bed with the ac on full blast.

  12. Kay Sisk says:

I would carry it to my romance reading group and share the books but not the bag!

  13. AuntieKristin says:

    Well, I carry books everywhere…

  14. Amber says:

Family vacation this year is a cruise, so I would carry it to an assortment of Caribbean beaches.

  15. jcp says:

    all over town–I’m a homebody

  16. twirlygirl says:

To Pensacola Beach! Nothing better than a good book and a day at the beach. Kate Sapde + romance novels is the giveaway of my dreams!

  17. denise says:

We have an epic college visit “vacation” for our middle child this summer going down the East Coast and hitting major universities/colleges he thinks he wants to attend. This bag of books would be a mom’s dream. 🙂

  18. Sara Planz says:

Heading to the Myrtle Beach in June with the family and would love this to fill many oceanfront days!

  19. susan says:

I wouldn’t go far. A couple of years ago we added a screened-in porch to our house. So when it gets a little warmer I would take the tote out there and sit in my favorite lounger and read.

  20. Kelly says:

Is it wrong that I just want to carry the bag of books to my couch? It’s so cozy.

  21. Katie says:

I would take my bag of books to Balboa Park and read on the grass next to the wooden botanical garden

  22. Kayley says:

I’d carry it to the college campus I live near and enjoy sitting on their nicely manicured lawns. 🙂

  23. Meg says:

To the beach house that my sister’s in-laws kindly loan me every once in a while. Fantastic view, and the best place to sit and read for hours.

  24. Pam L says:

    To the beach!

  25. flchen1 says:

I’d be hauling these with me on mom-duty, court/field-side, and so on! How cute!

  26. Emily says:

I would carry this tote to the beach at Destin, FL and read while my husband watches the kiddo. I would carry it poolside in Vegas, or bathtub-side at home, or anywhere I go that needs more books (so, everywhere!)

  27. Sarah J says:

I would bring the bag with me everywhere in New York this summer. I’d be covered commuting and for any “I wish I had a book right now” situation.

  28. Diana says:

Free ebooks? If I wasn’t at work I’d be hyperventilating right now! (I am in my head, anyway).

I’d carry that bag and all the books to and from work, to read during my commute. I’d be all in on the train! And anything left over would be for reading sprawled on the couch while my kids nap/sleep/play together so Mama can read!

  29. Kristi says:

I’d carry it right over to my couch so I could read all those books!

  30. MarieC says:

I’d take it everywhere, especially on the weekends. Nothing makes the time go by faster then reading a good book, especially while you are waiting for your food.

  31. Harper Gray says:

I would carry the bag of books as far as my sofa. Best place to read as long as the cats are asleep!

  32. Lisa Boike says:

I would carry my bag of books to the pool with a pitcher of blueberry vodka lemonade!

  33. Hillary617 says:

My favorite spot in the world is a tiny park along a tidal river on the Connecticut shoreline. I’d pack a couple of books and a special lunch (including wine, of course) in that gorgeous tote and spend the afternoon reading, snacking, and dreaming.

  34. Leandra says:

I’d carry my bag with me on the weekend – to the beach or to the city depending on the plan. My perfect place to read is outside, especially in a location with the right balance of shade and sun.

  35. Jordan R. says:

I’d carry it with me on vacation! Thanks for the giveaway – what a cute purse!

  36. Rin says:

I would carry that bag o’ books to the beach. The ocean makes everything better.

  37. Kaye55 says:

As a life long reader and admitted handbag addict, I can say with some authority that a cute tote filled with books goes anywhere and everywhere.

  38. Nancy Goldberg Levine says:

I would either take the bag to work or be like Rory Gilmore and take it on a date (because that bag is so darn cute, and she takes a book with her wherever she goes.

  39. Pam Bustamante says:

To Charleston. Then the books will get to go to the beach to be read. ;).

  40. Liv says:

I would carry my bag over to the “secret garden” that’s down the street from me – it’s a gated garden with a fountain and flowers and lots of great benches for reading on a summer day! 🙂
