That is the Kate Spade Clement Street Blair bag in straw. It’s 11.7” tall by 12.5” wide, and 5.5” in diameter. The handle drop (this is a crucial number for me when handbag shopping – it’s the distance between the top of the handle and the top edge of the bag) is 9”. You can easily carry this bag over your shoulder. It has two interior pockets and a wide bottom so it’ll stand up on its own.
And it’s CUTE.

I love to read on the beach or poolside
I’d carry it to all of my sons’ baseball games, of which there are many!
I’m going to two (work) conferences and a workshop this summer — I’d bring the bag to those and read between sessions to decompress! (Though my favorite place to read is my own sofa.)
I don’t go much of anywhere, but I might be persuaded to take this bag out poolside at my apartment complex. I could lotion up, lay out and proceed to get the most lopsided of tans.
I’d carry this bag on my honeymoon this summer! 10 days of travel requires reading material.
I’d carry it straight to my MiL’s – right on the beach, and she shares my love of romance novels.
The question should be where WOULDN’T I carry that gorgeous bag in all its book filled glory!!

I would sit out on my deck and read those books.
I would love to use this bag! And read these books 🙂 It would carry my stash of books everywhere! I have a lot of travel plans this summer, and it would be just the thing to keep me occupied on trains and planes while I ignored everything around me to read.
I would carry my tote bag full of books to the bank of the White River in beautiful north Arkansas where I will read while my husband fishes. I might occasionally glance up to wave at him as the boat floats by.
Ooh! I’m planning a couple of road trips this summer, so it would live in my car!
Since I live in Minnesota, it would definitely go to one of our 10,000 lakes with me. As for my favorite place to read – ANYPLACE! I love to read and have been known to pull out my reader in line at the grocery store.
As a Florida girl, I’d take them to the beach, of course! You’d need an ocean nearby to cool down after a long reading session. The sun might be hot, but those books are hotter! 😉
Coffee house just about anywhere but the one I like the best is Headlands Coffeehouse in Fort Bragg, CA. A side table, a cup of coffee or tea, maybe a snack, a book, an early Sunday morning, people around you chatting and saying hi. Good times.
Or on my couch, feet up, as rain points outside the window.
I would prefer the beach, but the answer would have to be my deck.
I’d take it just about everywhere! The beach, the pool, soccer practices – pretty much anywhere I’ll be sitting, waiting for others to finish this summer. 🙂
I’d carry this gorgeous bag everywhere. I’d definitely take it to the beach if I was going. I think it’d be nice to carry to a park, put down a blanket, and read under the shade of a tree.
I’d carry it EVERYWHERE! But especially to a beach house somewhere. That’s the dreammmmm 🙂

I would commute to work with the bag and the books would help that commute go faster. Although home in bed is still my favorite place to read.
I migrate between countries in the spring/summer and the bag (and books) would absolutely accompany me from the Pacific to Laurentians and back again.
I would carry it to the Brown County State Park, find a a spot near one of the look outs, spread my picnic blanket and bliss out with my books.
I wish I would be carrying this bag to my favorite beach B&B but the school system cut a month off summer vacation so the most likely place I will be carrying a tote of books is lthe front seat of my car while I wait in car line picking up my munchkins.
I would carry my big tote of books pretty much everywhere I carry my big purse stuffed with books, ipad and other things now. No matter how large or how small my purse or tote is reading material is always a must have!
In my biggest of reader dreams I’de be in Ireland in a peaceful B&B’s ancient library with a big window and a cup of coffee nearby. Rain would gently fall in the roof and then a random cat would climb on my lap as icing on the cake.
Unfortunately, I don’t have that kind of money, so my apartment “porch” will have to do.
I would carry it with me to Arizona to read while my dad gets cataract surgery. Then I would carry it to North Carolina for the Outlander themed/Highland Games trip the bff talked me into. Then I would carry it to Colorado Springs for my dad’s service reunion.
I love reading on airplanes. I like traveling with a big bag full of books (cause options) and totally tuning out all the other people on the plane and getting lost in a book. I find this makes the plane ride go by much faster. 🙂

I just bought really cute patio furniture for my apartment, and that tote full of books would go perfectly with it =)
this bag would probably help me survive a family get together coming up in August. 3 kids under 6, 3 grandparents, and 4 grown “children” all in one cabin for four days.
