Harlequin has a new website to share free eBooks: RomanceWhenYouNeedIt.com. Yay! Free reading! And to celebrate, they’d like to give away a Kate Spade bag full of 24 copies of Harlequin series titles.
Nice combination, right? Â I love this bag – take a look:
That is the Kate Spade Clement Street Blair bag in straw. It’s 11.7” tall by 12.5” wide, and 5.5” in diameter. The handle drop (this is a crucial number for me when handbag shopping – it’s the distance between the top of the handle and the top edge of the bag) is 9”. You can easily carry this bag over your shoulder. It has two interior pockets and a wide bottom so it’ll stand up on its own.
And it’s CUTE.
Plus, it’ll come with 24 Harlequin series titles to keep you busy for most of the summer. Yay!
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. Void where prohibited. open to US residents (sorry, sorry!). Must be over 18 and ready to tote and read. Closer cover before striking. Do not put books into washing machine. There is no hidden message to be revealed by reading this disclaimer backwards though it may produce some compelling avant-garde poetry. Reheat at 350 for 25 minutes covered with foil. I would carry my bag of books with me on my morning hour train commute into work! I need all the help I can get to make that ride go more smoothly.
This looks like the perfect bag to take to the beach (which is also a good place to read)!
I’d carry my tote and books to the pool. I love to read floating along in the water. There’s nothing more relaxing!
What a lovely giveaway. Not just the bag (though that alone would be great,) but it comes loaded with all those books!
I would walk outside my informal kitchen, through the sliding glass doors to our patio. Every morning, I slide those doors open and change the hummingbird solution. The feeder hangs from the second floor balcony providing welcome shade in summer time (think HOT here in Tucson). Nights cool down in the desert. So early morning, I would sit outside in the shade while sitting in the rocking chair and read my books. It is the perfect reading spot together with my morning latte.
To the beach! I can’t wait until it’s warm enough to spend time outside on the sand and read under an umbrella
I would take my books to my own back yard, but then the cats (indoor cats) wouldn’t be there and I would feel so guilty (since they’d be looking at me from the windows.) So I guess I’d better say I’d read the books in a comfy chair in my bedroom, where the cats could fight for best lap space. The three of us would all enjoy the reading time.
My perfect place to read is sitting by the river with an endless supply of coffee to hand on a gorgeous, sunny, cool day. My usual place to read is on the couch with the patio door open & a pot of coffee to hand on a muggy, humid day!
I would carry my bag wherever I go! I ALWAYS have a book because you never know when you will have a few free minutes to squeeze in some reading. Never waste an opportunity to read, that’s my philosophy!
Ireland! I’m going this summer and plan to spend a lot of time vegging out with all the books I don’t have time for during the school year.
I’d carry my books down to Barton Springs. It’s going to be 91 degrees today (already! it’s only April!!) but the water is always cold. One of my best days last summer was taking a book and a big blanket down there, splashing around for a bit, and then laying out to dry in the sun with a good book.
I would carry my book to a park and lay in the sun to read!
I’d carry the bag to a park to start reading and then to home to continue! And mine would never end up in the washer or the oven! 🙂
I can’t imagine anything greater than having a bag of books to enjoy during the wonderful summer or anytime of year actually. I always have a book with me whenever I have an appointment. It definitely makes the waiting much easier!
I would load this bag into my car, drive to the park, and set up my portable hammock, upon which I would lounge and read as more ambitious folks jog past me. I’d have enough reading material to last all summer!
My favorite spot to read is on the porch with a glass of wine with my dog by my feet.
I would take this bag full of books on a child-free vacation to a quiet secluded hotel room, where I can just read and not have to worry about anyone else but me! No naps, no diaper changes, no keeping the husband fed, just me and my books and maybe a bubble bath or two (…or five).
I’d take it to my lunchtime escape at work, the botanical garden across the street. Warm weather, shade, trees, & romance=<3
I would carry them to my bed, hide under the covers, and pretend that the only reason I would ever come out is a glass of excellent wine.
On my lanai with a glass of iced tea.
I love taking a big tote of books to the park and lying under a tree while reading.
The hammock in my backyard
Definitely to the beach! Big sunglasses, a beach chair and I’m good to go!
I have a large L-shaped desk at work. I have always imagined grabbing nap under there a la George Costanza. Howver, I think tucking under there with a bunch of books would be pretty cozy! And I could show off my new tote! Win/Win!
To my sister’s place to show off the cute bag and to share the books.
I’m taking a cruise to the Baltics this summer. I would love to take this gorgeous bag full of books.
To the pool on my day off and to several Ling weekend getaways to a cabin in the woods in Hocking Hills, Ohio. Peaceful and serene.
I would carry that bag of books out to my car, which I would get into, alone. The bag of books would sit shotgun. Together, we would drive to a local cafe. We would sit down at a table for two (the bag would naturally have its’ own seat), order a nice meal and 1? 2? 3? drinks, and settle in for a late morning/early afternoon nosh, sip, and read. Later, the bag of books and I would return home, and once the kids were in bed, we would curl up on the sofa to continue our literary relationship, so to speak.
To be repeated as many times as possible.
Really cute bag! I’d read on my lunch break – my office is on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River and I love sitting out there to eat.
I would carry the bag of books out to the backyard, where I would spread out a blanket and enjoy a picnic while reading!
I would take this bag of books to Lake Superior with my sister and her kids and enjoy them on the beach. 🙂 Nothing better than books, beach, and babies!
I would carry it to work since I always read on my breaks.
There is this amazing palm garden inside my office building that us a great escape for a little lunch time reading. I would carry this Kate Spade back there and have a nice read!
The perfect place to read? Just about anywhere you can find the time to do it. And if your seat is comfy and and you have a nice cup of tea, consider it a bonus.
I would carry it to my backyard deck chair. On a warm, sunny day. Preferably with an ice-cold beer near at hand.
I would carry this lovely bag right out to my new backyard. We just bought a house last November and I have been so looking forward to good weather so we can use the outdoor space. We built a new fire pit and have cute Adirondack chairs that are just waiting for me to sit in them with a glass of wine and a good book!
I would carry my bag of books with me…around the house, in the car while I run errands (read while waiting in line at the bank, grocery, post office, etc), to the mall (yeah, I’ve done some reading at the food court and no food required!)…but the bag of books would sit perfectly by my side on my bed, with the door closed and my phone on mute!
I’d carry this to the beach when we go next month
I’d carry it to the shady grass outside my dorm. Really anywhere outside in the shade.
I would take this bag most plaves and have at least 2 books in there to read while im waiting. I most likly would just dedicate the bag ro her awesome books and take it with me everywhere. Then when I have to go to family gatherings I could just pull out one of her books. Basiclly Id have great books on demand in a beautiful bag so I can escape from these days I live every chance I get! PLEASE PICK ME PLEASE! ❤
I need this from the depths of my soul! The words in the book speak to me on a cellular level and the bag just simply makes me look cool. Come on I need a break these days. This is just what I need.
