Harlequin has a new website to share free eBooks: RomanceWhenYouNeedIt.com. Yay! Free reading! And to celebrate, they’d like to give away a Kate Spade bag full of 24 copies of Harlequin series titles.
Nice combination, right? I love this bag – take a look:
That is the Kate Spade Clement Street Blair bag in straw. It’s 11.7” tall by 12.5” wide, and 5.5” in diameter. The handle drop (this is a crucial number for me when handbag shopping – it’s the distance between the top of the handle and the top edge of the bag) is 9”. You can easily carry this bag over your shoulder. It has two interior pockets and a wide bottom so it’ll stand up on its own.
And it’s CUTE.
Plus, it’ll come with 24 Harlequin series titles to keep you busy for most of the summer. Yay!
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. Void where prohibited. open to US residents (sorry, sorry!). Must be over 18 and ready to tote and read. Closer cover before striking. Do not put books into washing machine. There is no hidden message to be revealed by reading this disclaimer backwards though it may produce some compelling avant-garde poetry. Reheat at 350 for 25 minutes covered with foil. Comments will close Friday 29 April at noon, and winner will be announced later that same day.
Big thanks to Harlequin for the bag and the books, and don’t forget – to sample free eBooks from Harlequin, visit RomanceWhenYouNeedIt.com.

I would carry my tote with me everywhere! I try to be connected to a book as many hours of the day as possible, whether it’s listening to one while I’m driving or working (or just kicked back in bed before sleep), reading on my iPad or iPhone when I’m supposed to be paying attention at meetings, or sneaking a rare “in hand” book with me wherever I happen to be. I’m all about the words on the page, no matter how I get them from the page into my brain!
My cousin is getting married in southern Florida this summer and I cannot WAIT to get my butt to the beach after the festivities and catch some rays while I read. And when I get back to Illinois (where it’s miserable all the time), I will fill a kiddie pool for my dogs, pack this baby full of drinks, books, and suntan lotion, and pretend I never left the shore. #winning
I would take this to work: because I don’t live at the beach, and my job is no picnic.
On the sun porch at my grandmother’s house! Complete with a huge glass of sweet tea!
I love this bag! I’d bring it outside and enjoy all those books on my back porch with a glass of rosé…or maybe a bottle.
I’d take them to Arkansas on our next visit, and curl up with a good book on the shores of Greers Ferry Lake.
Oh great giveaway! I would take it my friend’s pool and to the beach. The beach is my favorite place to read.
Where *wouldn’t* I carry this beautiful bag full of books, is more like it. To work, to the park, to knit night. Pretty much everywhere.
I would carry my bag of books to work and back, so I could have a relaxing commute
I would carry my bag of books all over the damn place!
I would carry this on the airplane when I go to my niece’s wedding!
I would love to take a bag of books to the beach. Or just retreat to my bedroom and shut the door…
I’d carry these books to the hammock in my backyard which is the perfect spot for a relaxing summer read.
That bag is adorable. Where would I lug those books? Everywhere! What’s a line or a waiting room without a book?
To my office. I confess that I’d probably then fill it with physics textbooks… Fun books stay at home.
I’d take it, every day, all summer long, to the neighborhood pool and read as my grandsons swim and play.
I’d carry it with me on my summer trip to Ireland and Scotland. The long flights and occasional train journeys require reading material accompanied by a stylish bag. I would feel almost European with this on my arm. (Though I’d feel even more so with a stylish European male on my arm.)
Probably to my reading chair – because that’s exactly my favorite spot to read, where there’s sunlight, a comfortable place to curl up in, and a place to put my tea…
I’d take them on my morning commuter.
My bag of books and I are road tripping to Mammoth Cave where my husband will explore with the children and I will read in a hammock!
I volunteer at our local library so it would journey with me there.
I would carry my bag to work! I read anywhere I can….at work, while cooking, and snuggle in my bed with a cup of tea! I love reading!
To the beach!
I would totally carry my tote full of books to the winery on the Blue Ridge Parkway and camp out for the day with many refills of refreshing grape “juice.”
I would carry my tote of books up into a cozy cabin in the mountains and read all weekend!
To the park!
I would carry it to the loveseat in my living room, in front of a roaring fire. Today was truly chilly for April (even in New England), and that where I really wanted to be today, instead of at my office,
This summer, as we do every summer, we’ll be taking our road trip back to the midwest to visit family with our dog, cat and child. This will help me escape the fur fight and the car sickness, the “Are We There Yet?” and the endlessness that is traveling I-70 through Ohio.
I would bring it everywhere. It would hold all my hopes and dreams as i frolic through life.
The lake! Any lake!
If it is a warm and sunny day, I’d likely carry it out into my backyard and read while basking in the sunshine. Mostly though I read inside while sitting on an eggplant colored chaise lounge and under an 18 pound, long-haired, black & white cat.
On our porchtop catio with the warm breeze and our cats and I looking down on the neighborhood.
I’d carry this everywhere. I always have something to read with me!
At the park while my kids are running around like the little beasts that they are.
Heading to Boston this summer – books on a plane & not having to talk to people = perfect flight!
I would carry my books to my back porch swing
To the beach, to the beach,
A book always within reach!
To the park, to the park,
So happy to be reading ’til it’s dark!
To my sister’s, to my friends’
To spread the love amongst fellow readers.
I would carry along my bag of steamy romance on a re-visit to the isle of Jamaica. There’s nothing like sitting on the beach and taking in sun, sand and repartee..along with rum and a Cuban cigar.
I would carry my bad everywhere. Shopping and to the library to pick up more books! My perfect place to read is my papasan chair with a cat on my lap.
I would absolutely carry it to work to utilize during my down time.
