It’s that time of year again and we’re pleased to announce the books featured in seven out of our eight categories!
Our categories this year are Contemporary, Historical, Novella, Series/Category, Paranormal/Fantasy/SciFi, New Adult, and Novel with Strong Romantic Elements.
The eighth category will be filled with the top eight books as nominated by you. Yup. You nominate the books you think should be included that aren’t listed right now.
If you’re looking to nominate a book, fill out the form to enter your nominations. The form will close Saturday, March 12th at 12pm EST.
I should also mention that both Ilona Andrews (after her stunning win last year) and Beverly Jenkins (she’s on an awesome vacay!) politely requested not to be included this year. So keep that in mind while nominating!
The book nominated can be digital or print, but please, wherever possible, use the ASIN or ISBN number for the PRINT edition to minimize duplicate entries.
PLEASE NOTE! The book MUST have a copyright date of 2015. No exceptions, no reprints. No paperback version of 2014 hardcovers.

I’d like to nominate a wonderful sleeper find-a contemporary Irish setting romance that took my breath away
True Colors
by Vanessa Fox
This prompted me to move “Act Like It” off my TBR and into my eyeballs and it was SO GOOD! Though there is a kind of out of nowhere and somewhat lightly treated sexual assault that I hadn’t heard about? I would put a trigger warning on what is otherwise a thoroughly delightful read.
Considering how good my reading year was in 2015, I’m actually having a hard time coming up with books published IN 2015 I think are nomination worthy. I’m going to stick to an old faithful: Shards of Hope by Nalini Singh. Also The Marriage Contract by Katee Robert.
Hi, I’m really sorry, but when I nominated one of the books I chose, I accidentally wrote “Stacey Virginia Longmuir” (I copied and pasted it from Amazon). And when I started nominating my second book, I finally noticed that it was Last Name First Name.
I apologize once again! Might be because I’m a bit sleep-deprived this morning (just couldn’t sleep…) so I wasn’t reading carefully even though it was heavily emphasized. 🙁
Serena: No worries – it happens. Don’t stress – no big deal!
Thanks. 🙂
I have nominated Rise by Karina Bliss which was the rock star novel to end all rock star novels. Bliss is now my favourite author and after reading Rise I went and one clicked on her back list. No other book came close for me last year …and I read a lot of books.
I just saw that I was a part of this and really feel honored. Also looking forward to reading the other books after I finish the second one. Good luck to everyone!
I nominated “Sofia Khan Is Not Obliged” by Ayisha Malik, published by digital-first imprint twenty7 in 2015, though the paperback was published January this year. The easiest summary is “the Muslim Bridget Jones”, though I found the humor etc in Bridget Jones to be incomprehensible and could never read more than a chapter of it before putting it aside. Sofia is hilarious and less weight-obsessed than Bridget, and there’s definitely great banter and romance. 🙂
