  • Hope Ignites

    Hope Ignites by Jaci Burton

Hope Ignites by Jaci Burton is $3.99 at most vendors! This is a contemporary small town romance between a rancher and an actress. Readers loved the chemistry between the two characters and the opposites attract plot. However, some warn that the hero could be a bit of a jerk. It has a 4-star rating on Goodreads.

From the New York Times bestselling author of Hope Flames and the hot new Play-by-Play novel, Melting the Ice, comes an all-new novel of small-town romance, second chances, and hope…

When a movie crew asks to film on his cattle ranch, Logan McCormack doesn’t expect Desiree Jenkins, the young star with the bad-girl rep, to be so open, so down-to-earth, or so intimately interested in him. But the last thing a loner like Logan needs is a distraction like Des, who wouldn’t understand what it’s like to live peacefully off the land.

But it’s Logan who doesn’t understand. What Des wants is an escape from paparazzi and gossip columns, and she’s found it at Logan’s ranch. Now it’s up to her to prove that she’s like any other girl looking to be accepted for who she is. And she’s hoping that it’s by this real-life cowboy who has everything it takes—and more—to give her the kind of happily ever after that can’t be found in the movies.

  • Bad News Cowboy

Bad News Cowboy by Maisey Yates

Bad News Cowboy by Maisey Yates is 99c! This is the third book in the Copper Ridge series and if you like Yates’ writing, several of her other books are on sale! Some readers expressed trouble connecting with the heroine, but many loved the “off limits best friend’s sister” trope. Have you read this one?

Can the bad boy of Copper Ridge, Oregon, make good—and win the rodeo girl of his dreams?

Kate Garrett keeps life simple—working hard, riding her beloved horses, playing cards with her brothers. Lately, though, she feels a bit restless, especially when family friend Jack Monaghan is around. Sexy and shameless, Jack is the kind of trouble you don’t tangle with unless you want your heart broken. Still, Kate could always use his help in learning how to lasso someone a little less high risk…

Jack can’t pinpoint the moment the Garrett brothers’ little sister suddenly stopped seeming so…little. Now here he is, giving flirting tips to the one woman who needs zero help turning him on. Love’s a game he’s never wanted to play. But he’ll have to hurry up and learn how before the best thing that ever entered his life rides right back out again…

  • Two Times as Hot

Two Times as Hot by Cat Johnson

Two Times as Hot by Cat Johnson is $1.99! This is a contemporary western romance with a hint of a love triangle, but I think it’s clear from the description who the heroine will choose. Readers say that it has a great blend of sexiness and emotional action, but some felt that nothing really stood out to them. It has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads.

    One Good Girl. . .

After her sister snags a hot Oklahoma cowboy, Emma Hart figures it’s her turn to saddle up. And with two country boys pursuing her at once, she’s in for a wild ride. . .

    Two Sexy Guys. . .

Lieutenant Colonel Logan Hunt can’t deny the heat between him and Emma is fierce. But Logan isn’t looking for anything serious. So why is he crazy jealous when he sees pro bull rider Jace Mills trying to charm Emma into bed?

    Winner Takes All. . .

Logan knows he and Emma could have something special–he just has to find a way to prove that even a no-strings-attached guy like him can stick around for the long haul. . .

  • Playing at Love

Playing at Love by Ophelia London

Playing at Love by Ophelia London is 99c at most vendors and $2.99 elsewhere! This is a contemporary romance between two faculty members at a high school: the football coach and the choir teacher. Readers mentioned that the book is light on the descriptions of sex, so if you’re a reader who prefers all the nitty gritty details, this may not be for you.

When it’s glee vs. gridiron, can love level the playing field?

When a school budget crisis pits the music program against sports, choir teacher Tess Johansson doesn’t think things could get any worse. Her singers will need to prove themselves during halftime at every football game, plus take first place at Regionals. Then…she meets her competition.

New head football coach Jack Marshall just needs to keep a steady job to win his custody battle for his young daughter. But when he realizes his competition for funding is Tess—the amazing summer love he never forgot—winning takes on a whole new meaning. With everything at stake, Tess and Jack find themselves torn between doing what it takes to win and doing what it takes to be together.

  1. I love Playing At Love by Ophelia London! Jack and Tess are so great together and normally I like my sex scenes *hot* but I honestly didn’t notice the lack of heat on this book until someone else mentioned it because it was so good.

  2. Lostshadows says:

Pressure cookers are great, but that’s kinda pricey even at half price. I think you can get the stove top type for around $30.

  3. ReneeG says:

Is it just me or does the cowboy on the cover of “Two Times as Hot” have a massive worm infestation in his abdomen?

  4. Katie Lynn says:

I actually just finished that Maisey Yates book (I read the first two in January and bought this one a few days ago when it went on sale), and I really enjoyed it. I don’t know if reading the earlier books helped me know the characters better or not, but I didn’t have any problems with either of them. I actually had some lough-out-loud moments while reading it, which is impressive seeing as I read it while I felt like dying from the flu.

  5. Stef in AZ says:

Long time lurker. We have an Instant Pot which we got as an anniversary gift last year. Love, love, love it! Use it just about every night to get good, filling meals on the table in a jiffy. Even take it on vacation with us to time shares & when visiting family to use in meal prep at their houses.

  6. KellyM says:

I also have the Instant Pot and love it! (I got mine on a lightning deal for $99.99 last July) The stove top pressure cookers intimidated me, so this was a better alternative and has the timer and keep warm feature.
