A hot bath, tablet (so I can read or watch), and coffee, tea or wine.
Snuggly blanket, hydrator, optional music depending on mood 🙂
Books and hot chocolate. Or youtube videos on my phone while hiding under the blankets, when I’m feeling less intellectual.
OK, I know this is odd because few people do this anymore (ie., the people I work with!) but I love a good audiobook and ironing. There is something very relaxing about ironing and a great listen makes it so much better … hey, I know I said it weird but I love ironed clothes for work.
Herbal tea with honey (or wine), bath so hot it turns me lobstery and my kobo!!!
Tea and book and blanket!
For me, it’s a good book, a glass of wine, and no one whining or crying while I’m reading!
Knitting + books are my life! Lately I’ve been reading audiobooks a lot so that I can knit at the same time. Love.
I love to take a hot bath a read a great book with a nice candle burning…so relaxing.
Knitting is good, if the pattern n isn’t too challenging. Reading is a must (though I haven’t yet figured out how to do both, except for audio books). Tea as well. And a fire in the wood stove is a bonus.
Either, a nice cuppa tea and curling up with a good book, or a walk outside when the weather cooperates (here in Seattle it’s mostly the former these days). This is pretty much me:
Red Bush tea with honey, a good book, and curling up in my recliner under a blanket. Nothing is more relaxing!
Hot chocolate, my couch, my dog, my e-reader, and an electric blanket on a snowy day
Knitting and movies, please!
My favorite combo is tea, dark chocolate, and reading. I’m not a knitter, but one of my BFFs is, and I would gladly gift her with yarn and pattern just to see her smile.
Audiobooks while driving. I couldn’t handle holiday roadtrips without them.
Hmmm… an excellent book, comfy seating, the usual cats getting in the way and demanding love… plus warm or cold beverage of choice.
Books and hot cocoa!
Favorite combo: big leather chair, iPad, white wine and a puppy on my lap. Best. Time. Ever.
Definitely tea (or maybe hot chocolate) and a book – in my ideal world, it would be in front of a fireplace as well! Nice, cozy, relaxing and comforting 🙂
Pretty much a good book and a cup of hot chocolate, with an option for chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese sandwich dipped in hot sauce. I also don’t hate binge watching TV and cross stitching.
My nightly habit is to sit on the chaise lounge with a cat on my lap, my husband on the other couch reading, and I’m either on the iPad (reading blogs & killing zombies PvZ2), reading a book, or more recently hand piecing a quilt while listening to audio books. On cold nights, there’s a fire going in the fireplace. Also, since the cat is on my lap & can’t be disturbed, my hubby fetches me what I need/want – tea or other beverage, snacks, etc.
A good book or two, hot chocolate and a cozy chair.
Mint tea or ginger ale, my Hello Kitty Blanket, my embroidery, and my Kindle. The presence of cats is dependent on their desire to snuggle.
green tea and a warm blanket and/or bed, all the way! it’s the best.
Knitting and either audiobooks or my kindle.
For me, the book is the thing. I can be anywhere, curled up in a corner of the sofa, lolling in a hot bath or the only one awake at 3:00 in the morning because I can’t put the damn book down. Tea, blankets, rain, all lovely but it’s really all about the book.
An audiobook and a coloring book.
A book and a bath 🙂
My favourite relaxing combination is my favourite chair, an audio book and my knitting. A cup of tea / glass of homemade lemonade (it’s Summer here) will accompany this. And some quiet to enjoy it all.
