It’s time for night number five of our Hanukkah celebration! Tonight is the fifth night of Hanukkah, and we’re all about Carrie’s favorites: history, fantasy, and reading all the things!
I mean, everyone likes to read all the things, right? I mean, I do.
Today’s giveaway prize is…
Drumrolllllll please!
A copy of the 200th Anniversary annotated edition of Emma by Jane Austen ( A | K | G | AB ), edited by Juliette Wells, who was a podcast guest recently and talked a lot about the creation of this edition.
There’s more! A copy of Pride, Prejudice & Popcorn, written by Carrie Sessarego, is also included.Plus, a $50 gift card to the bookstore of the winner’s choosing.
And one more thing: jewelry!
Not just any jewelry….
Steampunk jewelry!
Have a look!
It’s a locket, so you can hide things inside, like your secret password, the magic spell that gives you unlimited time to read, or a picture of your favorite person.

Ooooh, wicked pretty!
Ohhh my secret spell that makes me read faster, yes, no one but me must know I have it mowuahahahah
Thanks. And I love your disclaimers 🙂
Ooh, annotated Emma … *tries not to drool*
Thank you guys!!
Happy Hanukkah! As an aside, it’s weird to me that I know have a daughter old enough to love Austen. (I didn’t force her, I swear!) I have no idea how I got this ancient. Anyway, I got her a Mansfield Park book purse from Etsy for Hanukkah.
That’s so pretty. I’m having so much fun this week & enjoying the creativity of the giveaways & comments – thank you!
Ooohhh, I love this one! Like your average girl, I have a keen appreciation for Pride and Prejudice, but I always liked Emma better, although it’s been long enough since I’ve read either that I couldn’t really tell you why. Which clearly means I just need to do another Jane Austen re-read, which strikes me as an excellent way to while away some winter hours.
This is CATNIP for the romance-lover.
Ooh what a great locket! And I love the annotated editions of Jane Austen – I already have P&P, because they give you the cultural insight you get as if you were reading one of today’s bestsellers.
Happy Hanukkah! If I figure out the magic formula to get unlimited time to read, I promise to share. I have to get the way-back machine fixed first … some days, it ain’t easy being an engineer.
love it!
If ever a locket made me want to say HELLO LOVER it’s that one! You ladies keep exceeding my expectations with the most awesome of gifts. You’re very good to us. Thank you and Happy Hannukah!
What a nifty set of goodies! Happy Hanukkah!
YAY STEAMPUNK!

@Pamala:
Thank you! It is so much fun to arrange the giveaways each year, and the gift guides. Like I’m shopping for everybody here! So I’m really pleased you like them. Thank you!
Ohhhhh gawd! Awesome giveaway prizes and awesome posts! 😀
Loving the jewelry.
I have earrings that would match the locket perfectly!
Ohhh, great selection Carrie! Thanks to both you and Sarah for the giveaway opportunity.
It’s just so much fun to see Chanukah celebrated. I work in an office with a couple of hundred employees and I have the sole menorah and dreydels on display.
What’s better than books and jewelry?!? 🙂 Thanks!
Thanks for the giveaway. And that necklace is very pretty.
Thanks for the wonderful Hanukkah bash!
Oo, Emma, steampunk, and book bucks. The trifecta of giveaway perfection.
Wow! Love Jane Austen and the necklace ain’t shabby either!!
I’m so mad that I missed this giveaway! Wow! The books, the locket…
