Books On Sale

Recommended Erotic Romances & Hot Contemporaries!

  • The Siren

    The Siren by Tiffany Reisz

RECOMMENDED: The Siren by Tiffany Reisz is on sale for $1.99. Elyse loves Reisz’s writing and gave this book an A when she reviewed, saying:

The Siren is surprisingly light on sex, but heavy on kink, and it’s the most detailed look into S&M I’ve ever read. It’s also sharp and smart, and incredibly well-written. I normally don’t read a lot of books about S&M because generally I don’t like reading about people in pain. I like steamy contemporaries that feature some spanking or submission (like Rush by Maya Banks) but hardcore pain is typically not my thing. I really liked this book, though. It was like a potato chip book for me. I couldn’t stop at The Siren. I read The Angel  ( A | BN | K | ARe) and The Prince ( A | BN | K | ARe ) immediately after in one big bleary-eyed kink fest. I stopped reading at 3 a.m. because I loved the characters.

Notorious Nora Sutherlin is famous for her delicious works of erotica, each one more popular with readers than the last. But her latest manuscript is different—more serious, more personal—and she’s sure it’ll be her breakout book…if it ever sees the light of day.

Zachary Easton holds Nora’s fate in his well-manicured hands. The demanding British editor agrees to handle the book on one condition: he wants complete control. Nora must rewrite the entire novel to his exacting standards—in six weeks—or it’s no deal.

Nora’s grueling writing sessions with Zach are draining…and shockingly arousing. And a dangerous former lover has her wondering which is more torturous—staying away from him…or returning to his bed?

Nora thought she knew everything about being pushed to your limits. But in a world where passion is pain, nothing is ever that simple.

  • Finding Master Right

Finding Master Right by Sparrow Beckett

RECOMMENDED: Finding Master Right by Sparrow Beckett is $2.99! The next book in the series and the preorder for the third book are also on sale at that price. This is a BDSM romance and I gave it a B+:

It was a great way to spend a few hours and I read the thing in one night. I know BDSM romance isn’t everyone’s bag, but the levity of the characters and their exchanges gave me all sorts of warm fuzzies that had little to do with their bedroom activities.

Kate’s fantasies have always featured sexy, dominant, crop-wielding men, but finding one in real life was easier said than done. She’s used to getting what she wants, but the creeps that keep flirting with her aren’t her kink.

Enter Banner. His intensity scares her—he’s looking for a slave, and Kate doesn’t want to be one. But when he offers to help find the perfect Dom for her, she’s glad to have a matchmaker and protector.

Banner knows he and Kate aren’t sexually compatible, so what better way to get the tasty almost-vanilla girl out of his head than finding her a good Dom? As it becomes clear that Kate has no clue what she wants when it comes to kink, he devises a series of experiments to help her figure things out—a perfect plan, if he could stop himself from training and bedding her. Obsessing about owning a girl who wants to be free isn’t healthy. But when Banner finds the right Dom to collar Kate, how will he hand over the leash?

  • Worth the Fall

Worth the Fall by Claudia Connor

RECOMMENDED: Worth the Fall by Claudia Connor is $3.99! This was recommended by Jane during a previous podcast, who said that although the setup seemed daunting – the hero is a Navy SEAL, while the heroine, a widow, has four kids and is pregnant with her fifth. This sounds like a lot, I agree, but Jane really enjoyed it. It’s also a book that prompts a lot of positive comments! Have you read it?

They meet on a beach. . . . Abby Davis isn’t wearing a skimpy bikini or sipping umbrella drinks, not when she’s busy chasing around four little ones. And Matt McKinney isn’t looking for fun—he’s a Navy SEAL, a grown man with a long list of missions . . . and fallen brothers.

They only have a week. . . . Abby has brought her children to this beach to start over, to give them the enjoyable memories they deserve. Matt’s been sidelined by a combat injury, and haunted by the best friend he lost and the promise he made: to remain a SEAL—focused and dedicated. This leaves no time for what he’s always wanted: a family.

But a week is all it takes. . . . Matt opens her heart while Abby soothes his soul. And though they plan to say good-bye when the week is over, something magical happens on that beach, something neither can forget. Something utterly, completely worth falling for.

  • Full Exposure

Full Exposure by Sara Jane Stone

Full Exposure by Sara Jane Stone is 99c! This contemporary romance contains catnip galore. Hero is heroine’s boss. She’s a live-in nanny for this nephew, by the way. The hero is the best friend to the heroine’s brother. The heroine also served in the military, which I think is pretty awesome. Readers had no trouble connecting with the characters, though some wished there was a bit more emotional depth. With a 3.7-star rating, it’s the first book in the Independence Falls series. Currently, the series has four books and you can grab them all for less than $8!

    No touching allowed …

After serving her country, Georgia Trulane craves adventure—and sex. She’s set her sights on her brother’s best friend—now her boss, since she took a temporary job as his nephew’s live-in nanny. Only problem? Eric refuses to touch her. That doesn’t stop Georgia from seducing him. But an earth-shattering encounter leaves her fully exposed, body and soul.

Eric has a long list of reasons to steer clear of the woman he has wanted for as long as he can remember. For one, he refuses to be her next thrill ride. When he claims her, it will be for good. But the attraction is undeniable, and the more they fight it, the stronger it pulls. But will it be enough to conquer their obstacles?

  1. Darlynne says:

THE EIGHT by Katherine Neville is on sale at Amazon for 2.99.

  2. Sara says:

I LOVED Worth The Fall – it’s a difficult setup but it works so well in the end. And she’s setup the series beautifully – Worth the Risk was good too.

  3. Kimberly says:

The Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz is amazing!!! I love The Siren, I love The Angel even more, but the second part of the series, The White Years Quater is absolutely fantastic. Those are the best books I’ve read this year

  4. Katie Lynn says:

I’ve read Worth the Fall and Finding Master Right (and the second book in that series, Playing Hard to Master), and really enjoyed them. Worth the Fall in particular has a really difficult setup if you think about it too hard, but I think it’s important to note that the heroine is an orphan (?) who wanted love, and ended up in a loveless marriage. She basically wanted a family really badly, and so it’s not surprising that she’s ready to move on so soon.

  5. Caroline says:

I really enjoyed “Finding Master Right.” I liked how the guy had doubts and insecurities about how to proceed with the relationship. Whenever I read those he-suffered-no-disobedience (!!!) dom characters my dubious consent alert goes off.

  6. Katie Lynn says:

Maybe This Christmas by Sarah Morgan (the third O’Neill brothers book) is currently $1.99, and as the price was set by the publisher that should be across the board.

  7. Milly says:

Beyond loved Worth the Fall & The Siren! How’s that for 2 very different books? Couldn’t get through Finding Master Right but I may have to pull it up again to try to reread.

  8. LB says:

Just as a counterpoint, I HATED Worth the Fall. I found it to be too much instalove, too much focus on the children (I don’t even mind children usually but this was too much), and boring too-sweet too-perfect characters I kept rolling my eyes at. This book was just not for me at all.

  9. lorenet says:

@LB, I’m with you. I refer to these the heroine of Worth The Fall as “fertile myrtle”. I read the 2nd one shortly after Sarah did a podcast with Angela James. In the podcast, Angela talked about why writers should not reference character comparisons or cultural references. Book 2 compares the hero to Donald Trump. Enough said. I view these books as a waste of good cover art.
