You did it! We figured this one out! It is a truth universally acknowledged (by me for certain) that the Bitchery pretty much knows everything, and really, it's true. Scroll down to see the solution for this HaBO - and many thanks!

This HaBO request comes from Chelsie, who is looking for a contemporary or possibly new adult romance:
I’m trying to remember this book, it’s a college romance (I think) and it’s about these two best friends who fall in love with each other.
At the end of the book the guy tells the girl about a tattoo on his back and it says a phrase that was on matching t-shirts they wore back in elementary school.
Please help me, its been driving me crazy!
I really want to know what this phrase is! Does anyone know?

Sounds like “Frigid” by Jennifer L. Armentrout writing as J. Lynn
Oh dear. This book sounds so familiar to me… … ….
I think Nadine got it. I didn’t remember the tattoo bit, but I reviewed my copy of Frigid and found the description of the hero’s back tattoo that says something that was written on shirts that he and the heroine wore when they were little. The thing I remember most about Frigid was that the hero was described as promiscuous, and he had a thing about never having face-to-face sex. So, of course, when he has face-to-face sex with the heroine, it must be true love. LOL.
Oh, and for Amanda, the phrase is, “This is forever.” In Sanskrit. Of course.
I KNEW I had read this but couldn’t for the life of me remember what it was!! I’m glad you knew, Nadine!! Now I can read it again. I love friends to lovers. Those are my favorite. 🙂
