Giveaway: Julie Brannagh & Le Creuset Cocottes!

Guarding Sophie

Julie Brannagh has a new novella out in November in her Love & Football series, Guarding Sophie, and she had a fun – and very tempting- idea for a giveaway.

Cover copy? But of course!

Seattle Sharks wide receiver Kyle Carlson needs to escape and Noel, Washington, is the perfect place for him to do it and figure out his next step. He likes the seclusion and predictability of the small town…until the biggest surprise of his life turns up in the local grocery store.

Sophie Hayes has her own reasons for disappearing without a trace and moving to Noel. This mountain town makes her feel safe for the first time in a long time. But her quiet routine is threatened when Kyle walks back into her life. Growing up in the same Florida town, she always had a little thing for the sexy football player. This tie to her old life, though, could mean she has to run again, even if her heart wants to stay.

When the reason she fled shows up in Noel, Kyle and Sophie, with a little extra help from his teammates, must decide to stay and fight for the life, and love, they’ve found together.

Julie wanted to host a giveaway that included some fun cookware, and copies of the book, and her suggestion for a grand prize made me want to put my credit card in the freezer so I wouldn’t be tempted. As Julie put it, “The heroine in my novella is obsessed with cookware, so to say she’d kill to get her hands on these would be an understatement. ;-)”

The grand prize? A set of four Le Creuset mini Cocottes with a cookbook!

Four mini dutch ovens with lids and little handles, each able to hold about 8oz the glaze is deep red, and comes with a cookbook

AREN’T THEY ADORABLE?

From the product description:

Pretty little stoneware French/Dutch ovens—perfectly sized for single servings—are made from enameled stoneware for even temperature distribution. They’re versatile, too—going from freezer and microwave to oven and dishwasher with no trouble, and the glazed interior helps release food for quick cleanup. The serving ideas are limited only by your imagination, but if you’d like some suggestions, Le Creuset includes a tempting cookbook with a range of 25 mouthwatering recipes.

Yeah, I can think of several things I’d like to make using those cocottes. The grand prize winner will receive the set of four, plus a digital galley of Guarding Sophie. Plus, two runners up will also receive a digital galley of Guarding Sophie, too. Yay!

Standard disclaimers apply: void where prohibited. I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. Open to US residents (apologies, y’all). Must be over 18 and prepared to read and cook some fine, fine things. Your mileage may vary. Objects in mirror are closer than they appear, especially if you are farsighted. Do not taunt happy fun ball. If you can’t take the heat, try turning on the A/C, especially in the kitchen. If conditions persist, contact a physician. Keep out of reach of children. Do not remove tag under penalty of Law. I don’t know this Law person but I presume the penalties are not fun.

Winners will be chosen on Friday, 16 October, and winners will be announced same day.

Ready to enter? Just leave a comment below and tell us: what would you cook if you won the set of four cocottes? Recipe links welcome, of course!

Happy fantasy cooking, and good luck!

ETA: We have a winner! Congratulations to Andrea D., who won the cocottes and a digital galley of Guarding Sophie. Our two runners up receive a digital galley of Guarding Sophie as well: boanderey and Kayli.

Congrats, and thank you to everyone who entered!
