The first thing I’d buy is Lord of the Abyss by Nalini Singh. I’d likely follow up with her rock start series. After that, I’d buy my favorite titles so I can get rid of my hard copies. I am running out of shelf space, people!
My wishlist shortlist: M. Duran’s Lady Be Good, E. Leigh’s Forever Your Earl, and J. Ashley’s The Stolen Mackenzie Bride.
I have my eye on Tessa Dare’s When a Scot Ties the Knot!
I am waiting for The Legend of Lyon Redmond to come out and I will be purchasing it. I cannot wait for my library hold to process. What I Did For a Duke was the first Pennyroyal Green I read and I immediately wanted to know about Olivia and Lyon.
The Black Moon by Winston Graham.
The top of my to-read list is Sorcerer to the Crown by Zen Cho. I’m also really looking forward to Courtney Milan’s coming books, Sarah McLean’s next book (coming in December), Theresa Romain’s new books (I think she has one coming in February and one in March) and Rose Lerner’s next book, Listen to the Moon (coming in January, I think), but they aren’t out yet.
New Ilona Andrews book!
Slade House by David Mitchell (SO EXCITED)
Solutions and Other Problems by Allie Brosh. And this. And that. And, oooh, a few of those.
Already have Ilona Andrews in ppbk but would dearly love to complete my ebook collection. There are a few others to add as well but she tops my list.
So many books, so little time! I am anxiously awaiting Dana Stabenow’s next Kate Shugak mystery, which I believe is slated for sometime next year. Oh, and I would buy all of Devon Monk’s Allie Beckstrom novels, so I could read them in order when I wanted to, not when the library deigned to cooperate.
I can always find something to buy at a bookstore!
I would love to get The Epic Adventures of Lydia Bennet(yes, from the Lizzie Bennet Diaries)!
Thanks for the giveaway. I would buy ‘When a Scot Ties the Knot’ and ‘The Bollywood Bride’.
Next up for me is Tessa Dare’s When a Scot Ties the Knot. She is such an awesome author. Also, yay for Lisa Kleypas returning to historicals!
My first buy would be the next Nalini Singh Psy/Changling book, followed by the few of that series I haven’t already bought; from there, let the FUN begin! I still like “real” books so I would like The Book Depository as my choice of bookstore. Thanks for this chance.
BWAHAHAHA! You all have some mad disclaimer writing skilz!! As for what to buy first? I think I’m missing some of Nalini Singh’s Archangel series…
Emma Holly’s latest smoking hot billionaire story, “Lord and Master,” just came out,and I can’t wait to get on it.
Right now, after reading that great review of The Highwayman, that’s the book that is at the top of my wishlist. Also left over from August is One Good Dragon Deserves Another by Rachel Aaron.
Definitely the new Seanan McGuire book for new!
Ben Aaronovitch Moon Over Soho, book 2 in the Peter Grant series. Loving this series!
So much to look forward too. Laura Griffin’s newest next week. Next Lisa Kleypas and Emma Chase’s Appealed in January 2016.
Saga 4. A kick ass heroine, kind guy, a realistic portrayal of family life and the amazing covers featuring breastfeeding. Can’t wait to keep reading.
Considering that the last two new books I bought and read were “Only a Kiss” and “When a Scot Ties the Knot,” I suspect that the next book I buy will be whatever Elyse reviews and raves about. Tell me what to read, Elyse!
So many! Really looking forward to DARK WILD NIGHT and anything by Jennifer Crusie or Victoria Dahl is an auto buy for me
I would pre-order Anne Bishop’s Marked in Flesh
Aaah, so many things! My heart wants A Little Life the most, I think. My heart is a masochist.
It’s all about J.D. Robb this month for me. I can’t wait to read Devoted in Death. Then I’ll catch up with Ilona Andrews’ Magic Shifts.
Next Robin D. Owens in her Celta series: Heart Legacy.
Last book in the survivors series by Mary Balogh, coming next years, titled Only Beloved , I think.
Crossing my fingers
Just One Night – Lauren Layne
Seduction Game by Pamela Clare, due 10/20 is at the top of my list.
One of your guests recommended “The Shattered Court” on the podcast a couple of weeks ago – it’s top of my list just now…
I don’t know that I can hold onto a gift card that long, but I’m really jonesing for Shelly Laurenston’s next Gathering book which doesn’t come out until March. Then again, that’s what preorders are for!
Tangled by Emma Chase. It’s at the top of my amazon wish list 🙂
The To Buy list is as long as my leg, and only gets longer going through these comments. I’d love to keep up with the Psy-Changeling and Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh, the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and the Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter (as long as it gets better than Torin’s story-not the best).
I think that would satisfy a couple of gift cards, really.
And thanks to everyone in the Bitchery. You all make my day, every day.
Cast in Honor by Michelle Sagara. I thought it was supposed to be released on Sept 4, so I started at book 1 with a re-listen. When I got to book 10, I double checked, and now the release date is 11-24-2015. Well, darn. Need it now!
Starting my maternity leave on Friday, so I’d first buy the latest Tessa Dare, “When a Scot Ties the Knot”, followed by the latest from Meredith Duran, and chase with “The Boys in the Boat”. 🙂
I would start with Sorcerer to the Crown, and move on to the long, long, long awaited The Legend of Lyon Redmond.
My top “to buy” item is “Lady Be Good” by Meredith Durran. That’s what I would go for first.
Always waiting impatiently for the next Ilona Andrews and Patricia Briggs books!
