Margaret Atwood’ s Maddaddam trilogy. If there is anything new by Sherry Thomas, I read those romances in a day. I live in a place with at least 3 local bookstores in 3 blocks, I would love a gift certificate!
The first book I would buy is Alice Hoffman’s “The Museum of Extraordinary Things.” I do most of my reading on an e-reader now, but I still prefer her books on paper. Thanks!

Another podcast junkie here. 🙂 I get a Goodreads alert every month that tells me “new releases by authors in your library!” and I add the ones I’m excited about to my calendar. My next-ups are the new Christina Lauren (follow-up to “Sweet Filthy Thing”) and the first in a new series by Jim Butcher.
Like many other commentators, my top auto-buy author is Ilona Andrews, followed by… probably Laura Kinsale or Penny Reed or maybe Meljean Brooks? I get really excited about a lot of authors, frankly.
I would totally be lying if I told you I knew what I wanted to read next.
I have been eyeing several by Mary Roach. She’s a riot!
The Legend of Lyon Redmond! I’m excited and nervous. I hope it lives up to my very high expectations.
I’m very excited for Rick Riordan’s Sword of Summer that comes out in October. His new series featuring Norse mythology, and I bet it will be great!

I’m picking up Dark Wild Night by Christina Lauren as soon as it come out tomorrow! I wasn’t a fan of her first series, but am really enjoying this one.
I would buy Laurell k. Hamilton’s Guilty Pleasures. It is the first book in her Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series. I just read all 14 Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, and I am hooked on vampire stories!
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken! She is my favorite author, and I’m dying for this book.
Emily March would be first on my list, then Mary Balogh. It’s fun just thinking about all the possibilities.
Probably SAGA Vol. 5 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples. I’m torn between that and Elliott James’ DARING.

I would definitely pre-order the next Sonali Dev book, which will be available later this month. I read Bollywood Romance after hearing your interview with the author on DBSA and could not put it down. Aside from that some science fiction and fantasy books I’ve been meaning to get my hands on. Thank you for the fantastic interviews and recommendations.
