So many books on my TBR, but the book I’m most interested buying right now is “Why Not Me?” by Mindy Kaling.
“Dangerous Spirits” by Jordan Hawk. I also really want a copy of “Sloe Ride” by Rhys Ford but I haven’t bought the rest of series and I know I don’t have the self control to just buy one. Books are worse than potato chips.
I’m excited about Mary Stewart’s book, “Madam, Will You Talk?”, which is finally available on Kindle.
I’ll be picking up more Brandon Sanderson!
What a wonderful prize! I have a ridiculous amount of books on my wish list but I think if I got some free book money, I’d buy some of the non-fiction books on my wish list which are always more expensive as e-books, so either The Secret History of Wonder Woman by Jill Lepore or New Approaches to Popular Romance Fiction: Critical Essays Edited by Sarah S. G. Frantz.
I always have a huge list, but Mechanica by Betsy Cornwell, The Drafter by Kim Harrison,The Brimstone Deception (SPI Files Book 3) by Lisa Shearin, Owl and the City of Angels by Kristi Charish, and Beastly Bones: A Jackaby Novel by William Ritter are all at the top of my list. 😀
Julie Anne Long’s forthcoming “The Legend of Lyon Redmond” is at the tippy top of my list!
I’d get J.D. Robb’s new book – Devoted in Death.
I have many books on the wish list, but maybe I would invest in the ones that I would otherwise find too expensive. I’ve also thought about investing in paperback format for my very favorites in my e book library. That would make rereading more fun. When I think about it I would also buy Blood & Circuses by Manna Francis, last published book in the Administration series, that for some reason is published only in print and not e book format.
I love mysteries and Murder at Honeychurch Hall by Hannah Dennison is one that has caught my interest. It would be my 1st purchase! Thank you for offering this contest.
I’d get Juliet Marillier’s Tower of Thorns as soon as it comes out in the fall.
It isn’t coming out until April, but I am already chomping at the bit for Seanan McGuire’s Every Heart a Doorway. Thanks for the great giveaway!
Top of my buy list is now It Takes Two to Tackle thanks to the earlier review by Amanda!
I’m looking forward to purchasing the first Bitch Planet trade paperback and I’m also eyeing a few titles on the Man Book shortlist.
My wishlist is ridiculously long! I definitely need to get The Lure of the Moonflower by Lauren Willig and the new Deanna Raybourn book.
Oh man. I’ve go almost 100 books on my “think about buying” list. Probably something from Kristen Higgins, Vivian Arend or Lorelei James.
A Banquet of Consequences by Elizabeth George
“Barbarian Days: A Surfing Life” by William Finnegan–for my husband, because I work at a library and try not to but too many books 🙂
There are so many books on my TBR list, it’d be hard to choose which to buy first. Maybe Tessa Dare’s latest, When a Scot Ties the Knot, since I haven’t picked it up yet.
Mary Balogh’s new survivor book. Oh the angst
Lois McMaster Bujold’s “Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen”.
I would love to get Agnes and the Hitman so that I could re-read it as often as I wanted!
Currently lusting after The Martian by Andy Weir (the cover is so pretty!) and After Hours by Cara McKenna (I just finished Hard Time and can’t wait to dig into her backlist!).
I love you guys!!!
My ultimate top pick? The new Julia Quinn slated to release in 2016. So, for me, it would be a preorder.
Gamelife by Michael Clune and Claimed by Elle Kennedy are probably my next book purchases.
@Lizzie, I read an excerpt of Barbarian Days: A Surfing Life in The New Yorker, and it was excellent! Even though I don’t surf and have no interest in surfing.
Looking at the new nicholas sparks cowboy book
I’ll probably purchase The Legend of Lyon Redmond by Julie Anne Long. I’ve enjoyed this series.
A Taste of Heaven by Penny Watson
To be honest, I’m not sure what I’d buy first… there are so many book on my wishlist that it’d take me sometime to decide LOL
I’d also go through some reviews here to get some recommendations.
The best part about book giftcards is taking a risk on new-to-you authors! I’m getting ready to start a The Daughters of Smoke and Bone.
Hehehe, I got the hollywood game night quote. Love that show! 🙂 I’m looking forward to the next Shelly Laurenston (book 2 in the crows),the next Nalini Singh Rock Hard series book and any thing Ilona Andrews come out with, all far off releases. Boo 🙁 Oh well, love you smarty bitches!
Oh! A competition to my bitchy heart’s (or brain’s rather?) delight!
I would love to buy me the complete “Baroque Cycle” by Neal Stephenson. I fell hopelessly in love with him after reading the “SevenEves” – a feminist, geeky, sci-fi epic (catnip alert!!!)
Much Ado About Jack by Christy English is at the top of my list right now.
For sure Archer’s Voice and Transcendence are at the top of my list plus going to snap up the new Elizabeth Hoyt as soon as it comes out later this Fall. Love the Giveaway!
New Midwestern kitchen by Amy Thielson
I hope to pick up J.D. Robb’s new book, Devoted in Death, and Christina Dodd’s new book, Obsession Falls, soon.
I just finished reading “None Dare Call It Conspiracy” so I’d probably look for another highly rated “conspiracy” book 🙂
I would buy all the Mercy Thompson series all the Seanan McGuire Series and what ever my daughter would like to read…her list is soooooooooo long!
