I’m in research mode right now but I really want to read The Martian for fun 🙂 and see the movie because Matt Damon.
My choice would be Bollywood Bride
This is the book on my list for this week…”Dark Wild Night” by Christina Lauren
I am patiently waiting for “The Beast”, Sherrilyn Kenyon
Legend of Lyon Redmond by Julie Ann Long and Winter by Marissa Meyers. I want them now!! But both are pre-orders… :'(
My wish list runneth over right now, but I have been checking on a price drop for The Goblin Emperor. I also have a ton of expensive craft/needlework books that I might someday be able to afford if I win the lottery.
Thank you!
Too new to pick just one.
Oh my. All the books. Since I just got the latest October Daye I think I might pick up Lisa Shearin’s current series. Thanks!
I am looking forward to buying Lisa Kleypas’ historical 🙂
The book I’m currently waiting to get is the next Guild Hunters book by Nalini Singh, because I have finished Archangel’s Engima, who needs sleep, and can’t wait for the next book. Also would mind several of the other books mentioned as well.
There are books by several must-buy authors coming out soon.
Since I already bought The Shepherd’s Crown, at the top of my “must buy as soon as it comes out” list is the first book in a new Rick Riordan series, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard. And also the Loretta Chase coming out in December, but Dec. is very, very far away; there will be many book purchases before then 🙂
I can’t wait for “After You” by Jojo Moyes. Will probably read it in one sitting!
I get most of my books from the library, but would love to buy books from the following authors/series: Ellen O’Connell, Edith Layton, Madeline Hunter medievalis, Carolyn Jewel’s Lord Ruin, and Lorraine Heath Older historicals.
The most interestingly expensive e-book on my wish list is a Lauren Dane book 6 Drawn Together which I don’t think was that expensive when it was released.
Thank you for this opportunity! At the top of my “to buy” list is Jenny Lawson’s Furiously Happy. After that is Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series…I recently read a short story from that series and I really enjoyed it.
Christina Lauren’s Dark, Wild, Night. JD Robb’s Devoted in Death is second.
Oh! Oh! I’d pick up (well, preorder) “Hunger Makes Me A Modern Girl” by Carrie Brownstein. I’ve been on the edge of my seat for this book for months now!
I NEED a copy of Gaudy Night by Dorothy Sayers.
I don’t have a particular book in mind. I believe the fun in winning a bookstore gift card would be the ability to go into a bookstore and explore – to find a book you’ve never seen before and give it a try. Haven’t you ever gone into a bookstore and found books that you would like to read but have not been able to buy them for one reason or another? Well, if I win, here’s my opportunity to go to a bookstore, find a good book (perhaps romance?) that looks juicy and very exciting and give it a slog!
Probably the new Mindy Kaling book or Nora Roberts (thought that’s not out for another couple months, I think).
‘Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End’ by Atul Gawande
I’ve got Mary Balogh’s “Only a Kiss” as my planned next buy.
I would buy all of Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changeling books.
All of the Anne Bishop books I haven’t read yet… 😀 Thanks!
The next one I’m auto buying is definitely The Legend of Lyon Redmond! So excited for this one, I can’t even contain it!!
Bollywood Bride – I just read her first book and loved it!
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern…still haven’t read that one yet and I really need to!
Eve Langlais’s Kodiak Point series. I know it isn’t one book, but I would love to try it.
Thanks for the amazing giveaway! I would love to buy Dark Wild Night by Christina Lauren, Archangel’s Enigma by Nalini Singh, and Secondhand Souls by Christopher Moore.
I checked my Amazon Wish List to pick the book I was most looking forward to and the only answer I came up with was..All of the above.
Cold-Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas. First Kleypas historical in years? GIMME.
I think the first thing I’d buy is Saga, Vol. 1 by Fiona Staples and Brian K Vaughan. I’ve had my eye on it for AGES, but my wallet’s never been able to justify the purchase. Also, I just moved, so I want to get through my new library’s romances before buying more.
I’d score Who Do You Love by Jennifer Weiner first. Then I’d bag a Susannah Kearsley for my Scotland fix…mmmm.
Bec McMaster’s Heart of Iron is definitely next on my to-buy list. I will be finishing up Kiss of Steel tonight (picked it up because of Elyse’s review, so thanks, Elyse!) and it’s gotten me through an extremely tough week, so I’d best have the next one handy, just in case.
There’s really WAY too many books on my wish list (almost 200)….but I looking forward to the new JD Robb ‘Devoted in Death’ and Sarah MacLean’s ‘The Rogue Not Taken’
First on my list is Shards Of Hope by Nalini Singh. I’m dying to read it.
Very close second is The Shepherd ‘s Crown by Terry Pratchett. I know it will be both wonderful and heartbreaking at the same time. I still feel like I’ve lost a friend :*(
Thanks SBTB for all the book sales (although my wallet doesn’t like you so much!) and the great reviews. A huge thanks for the many hilarious comments that have made my day! 😀
My sister in law has recommended the Blue Bloods series by De La Cruz, so I’m getting ready to check that out.
I can resist a giveaway like this as much as I can resist sales on books (read: not at all). I’m itching to give Deceptions by Kelley Armstrong a read, and with a gift certificate might not even wait for the paperback.
Finally give KJ Charles a go after being bookmarked forever.
