It’s always lovely when a popular deal sticks around. Here are a few of this month’s most popular sales, all of which are still available!
Love Lessons

RECOMMENDED: Love Lessons by Heidi Cullinan is still 99c – which is an outstanding price! This is a contemporary new adult m/m romance set on a college campus. Love Lessons was also mentioned on a previous podcast with Joyfully Jay. I have heard so many readers raving about this series, and this book in particular.
Love doesn’t come with a syllabus.
Kelly Davidson has waited what seems like forever to graduate high school and get out of his small-minded, small town. But when he arrives at Hope University, he quickly realizes finding his Prince Charming isn’t so easy. Everyone here is already out. In fact, Kelly could be the only virgin on campus.
Worst of all, he’s landed the charming, handsome, gay campus Casanova as a roommate, whose bed might as well be equipped with a revolving door.
Walter Lucas doesn’t believe in storybook love. Everyone is better off having as much fun as possible with as many people as possible…except his shy, sad little sack of a roommate is seriously screwing up his world view.
As Walter sets out to lure Kelly out of his shell, staying just friends is harder than he anticipated. He discovers love is a crash course in determination. To make the grade, he’ll have to finally show up for class…and overcome his own private fear that love was never meant to last.

Off Campus by Amy Jo Cousins is also .99 right now. As I learned during the recent podcast with Joyfully Jay, M/M romance and GLBT romance in general is often very expensive, so a book for under a dollar (+/- tax) is terrific. This is book 1 of the Bend or Break series, and it has a 3.7-star average.
Everyone’s got secrets. Some are just harder to hide.
With his father’s ponzi scheme assets frozen, Tom Worthington believes finishing college is impossible unless he can pay his own way. After months sleeping in his car and gypsy-cabbing for cash, he’s ready to do just that.
But his new, older-student housing comes with an unapologetically gay roommate. Tom doesn’t ask why Reese Anders has been separated from the rest of the student population. He’s just happy to be sleeping in a bed.
Reese isn’t about to share his brutal story with his gruff new roommate. You’ve seen one homophobic jock, you’ve seen ’em all. He plans to drag every twink on campus into his bed until Tom moves out. But soon it becomes clear Tom isn’t budging.
Tom isn’t going to let some late-night sex noise scare him off, especially when it’s turning him on. But he doesn’t want any drama either. He’ll keep his hands, if not his eyes, to himself. Boundaries have a way of blurring when you start sharing truths, though. And if Tom and Reese cross too many lines, they may need to find out just how far they can bend…before they break.

An Accidental Goddess by Linnea Sinclair is still 99c, and I know many of you love Sinclair’s sci-fi romances. This book made an appearance in the comments of Carrie’s review of another Sinclair scifi romance, Gabriel’s Ghost, and it was recommended by many readers in a Rec League post on scifi romances with alien characters. It has a 3.9-star rating on Goodreads.
Raheiran Special Forces captain Gillaine Davré has just woken up in some unknown space way station, wondering where the last three hundred years have gone. The last thing she remembers is her ship being attacked. Now it seems that while she was time-traveling, she was ordained a goddess….
Gillaine’s only hope of survival rests with dangerously seductive Admiral Mack Makarian, who suspects her of being a smuggler—or worse. But he can’t begin to imagine the full extent of it. For Gillaine is now Lady Kiasidira, holy icon to countless believers, including Mack—a man who inspires feelings in her that are far from saintly…feelings she knows are mutual. But when their flirtation is interrupted by a treacherous enemy from the past, Gillaine’s secret—and secret desires—could destroy them both….

RECOMMENDED: The Chocolate Kiss by Laura Florand is still $2.51 at Amazon and $2.99 at other vendors. I love this book. When I talk about traveling through the books I read, this is a title that comes to mind first. It’s a contemporary romance set in Paris, and it’s the second in a series though I didn’t read the first and was just fine here. This book was a Sizzling Book Club pick, and it was part of NPR’s 100 Recommended Romances, (which I helped select). It’s normally $7-9 or more, so $2.99 is a really great price. Travel anyone?
The Heart of Paris
Welcome to La Maison des Sorcières. Where the window display is an enchanted forest of sweets, a collection of conical hats delights the eye and the habitués nibble chocolate witches from fanciful mismatched china. While in their tiny blue kitchen, Magalie Chaudron and her two aunts stir wishes into bubbling pots of heavenly chocolat chau.
But no amount of wishing will rid them of interloper Philippe Lyonnais, who has the gall to open one of his world famous pastry shops right down the street. Philippe’s creations seem to hold a magic of their own, drawing crowds of beautiful women to their little isle amidst the Seine, and tempting even Magalie to venture out of her ivory tower and take a chance, a taste. . .a kiss.
Parisian princesses, chocolate witches, pâtissier princes and sweet wishes–an enchanting tale of amour et chocolat.

Owl and the Japanese Circus is 1.99 today at Amazon.
Seconding the recommendation for Off Campus. Heidi Cullinan, on the other hand, is just too sappy for me, but I’m not going to argue with her zillions of fans.
An Accidental Goddess is showing up 6.99 at BN and IBooks, but .99 on Amazon.
Yeah, GLBTQ+ books tend to run over 5 bucks, and they don’t go on sale nearly as often as other subgenres of romance. I am on Dreamspinner Press’ email list and sometimes they have sales – a few months ago they had 50% off print books, the purchase of which also gives you a free e version. I spent almost $100. lol I would dearly love to see m/m category romances published by Harlequin in their own name, with similar covers as the traditional categories, side by side on the shelves with Presents, Desire, etc, one day. I would buy the heck out of that!
I can also recommend the Laura Florand book! Her newest one in the Roses series launched this week (it was also quite good!), so I reread some of her other books. I just love the way she puts so much over-the-top emotion on the page while still being believable.
Dannika Dark’s Seven Series is $3.99/ea!! Good Stuff! 🙂 Book #1 is Seven Years.
Nora Roberts “The Liar” is on sale at Amazon for $5.68.
Love Lessons has such a cool cover!
