The Bigtime books are more comedic, and deal with superheroes instead of assassins like in Estep’s other series. This is sort of a blend of comic book parody, chick-lit, paranormal, and urban fantasy. It was originally published in 2007, and has a 3.7-star average on GoodReads.

I’m so done with Gena Showalter. She has burned me too many times, but what she did to Tor-Tor…Unforgivable.
I LOVE Karma Girl and the whole Bigtime series, and desperately wish she’d write more of them. So I encourage everyone to read and love them, just in case it’s a market thing. 🙂 Not that I don’t like the Spider ones, but these were just more *fun*. Also, I’m not sure, but I think Bigtime *may* overlap with the spider ones, from a side comment in one of them.
