Giveaway: Signed Hardcover Collection of Charley Davidson Series

Giveaway time! Darynda Jones would like to give away a signed hardcover collection – all eight books – of her Charley Davidson series. That’s an instant library, isn’t it?

The series maintains 4+ star averages, and, as you might have heard when she was a guest on a recent podcast, contains a big mystery and a small mystery, plus a slow-building romance/attraction between Charley and a mysterious dude who initially just shows up in her dreams a lot, as you do. If you’ve been curious, now’s your chance.

The other cool thing is that the covers are gorgeous. Have a look:

Book First Grave on the Right - white pants with silver skull sandals  Book Second Grave on the Left - Leather jacket and pants with a sparkly skull belt buckle Book third Grave Dead Ahead - a close up of Charleys legs wearing loose red Chuck Taylor shoes Book Fourth Grave beneath my feet - leather pants and a green silk top, with a sparkly skull engraved on the back pocket of the jeansBook fifth grave past the light - a close up of a diamond-encrusted skull pendant Charley has a lot of sparkly thingsBook Sixth Grave on the Edge - charleys sunglasses have tiny skulls at the hinge at each corner Book Seventh Grave and no body a close up of a pink leather watch strap with a sparkly skull charm on the bandBook Eighth Grave After Dark a close up of a wrap around watch with black leather and brass studs and skulls riveted to the band

Fabulous, right?

Plus, as a prize for the runner-up, I have a signed copy of the newest book, Eighth Grave After Dark. Yay!

So here’s how to enter: tell us in the comments which of the accessories on the cover you would most want, and you’re entered to win. It would be a fun shopping trip –  the shoes on the first cover are from Alexander McQueen and are usually around $900, if you can find them.

If you’ve enjoyed these disclaimers half as much as we’ve enjoyed writing them, then we’ve enjoyed writing them twice as much as you’ve enjoyed reading them.  Winners will be chosen at random on Friday 29 May 2015 and will be announced same day. Thank you to Darynda Jones for the set of hardcovers – I love a prize that gives readers an instant library of good books to read!

Good luck!

I’d love the watch! The motif is cool, and I like the double-wrap on the band.

  2. Jordan R. says:

Is it wrong that I wish the red chucks had a skull detail? That would be my ideal accessory!

  3. Cyn says:

I’m a little greedy. I would love the skull belt from the second book and the skull ring from the third book.

  4. bn100 says:

    the shoes

  5. Aliyah says:

I’d love the sunglasses or, you know the outfits on the second or fourth books…

  6. Suzanne says:

I would love the sunglasses on book 6 as I wear glasses and can never find really cool frames for prescription glasses. Who wouldn’t love them!

  7. AuntieKristin says:

Oh my goodness, it would totally have to be the scythe!

  8. Lori says:

I’ll take the shoes! Provided, of course, they are not cursed. 🙂

  9. Trippinoutmysoul says:

I’d definitely choose the skull belt. I had a black studded skull and crossbones belt when I was a teenager (not THAT long ago…) but my boyfriend at the time had borrowed it and instead of giving it back when we broke up, he chucked it out his car window somewhere 🙁 That belt was my favorite souvenir from the 2003 Warped Tour in Virginia Beach, the bastard.

  10. shiny says:

I’m not that big on skulls on my accessories in general, but that not withstanding, the watch on the latest one is sort of awesome 🙂

  11. Amy Medeiros says:

Besides the sycthe I would pick the leather jacket 🙂 I’ve always wanted one.

  12. Kate says:

Oh. Wow. Spoiled for choice, but the mini scythe.

  13. Sherri says:

I would LOVE to have the leather jacket featured on the cover of “Second Grave on the Left.” It’the perfect choice to get me through Arizona’s late fall, early winter!

  14. Sherri says:

Oooops…. IT’S (leather jacket) the perfect choice. Of course I would screw up the comment featured on a literary website!!! LOL

  15. HollyB says:

I am ALL ABOUT those SHOES!!! I have coveted them since I first saw that cover so long ago 🙂 This is an awesome prize, wow! Fingers crossed 😉

  16. I like the bangle and watch from the latest cover.

I love this series and am only halfway through reading 🙂

  17. harukogirl says:

The watch! I worked for fossil and got a little additcted to watches – my favorite is a hot pink marc Jacobs.

  18. Rani says:

It’s definitely all about those sandals

  19. Karen says:

the red chuck taylors. So totally uncomfortable to walk distances in but I can’t help myself

  20. Jen says:

    The sandals!!!

  21. Helen R-S says:

Have the winners for this been chosen yet? I keep checking back here to see if they’ve been announced…

  22. @SB Sarah says:

    @Helen:

My fault! My calendar reminder didn’t go off, and it is a sad truth that I don’t always know what day it is. All fixed – and my apologies!

  23. Helen R-S says:

No worries Sarah, these things happen 🙂

And congratulations to Kathy and Susan!
