Hardwired

Hardwired by Meredith Wild is $2.99. I sat next to Wild at the 2015 RT signing – yay for the W’s – and saw many of her readers stop at her table to tell her how much they loved the series. This is book 1 of the Hackers series, is BDSM-flavored erotic romance, and it has a 4.1-star average. Plus, if you buy the Kindle version, the Audible edition is $3.47 additional – a great deal if you like to listen to and read your sexxytimes.
Determined to overcome a difficult past, Erica Hathaway learns early on how to make it on her own. Days after her college graduation she finds herself face to face with a panel of investors who will make or break her fledgling startup. The only thing she didn’t prepare for was going weak in the knees over an arrogant and gorgeous investor who’s seemingly determined to derail her presentation.
Billionaire and rumored hacker Blake Landon has already made his fortune in software, and he’s used to getting what he wants with very little resistance. Captivated by Erica’s drive and unassuming beauty, he’s wanted nothing more since she stepped into his boardroom. Determined to win her over, he breaks down her defenses and fights for her trust, even if that means sacrificing a level of control he’s grown accustomed to.
But when Blake uncovers a dark secret from Erica’s past, he threatens not just her trust, but the life she’s fought so hard to create.

Live to Tell by Wendy Corsi Staub is $1.99 right now. This is romantic suspense – if the cover didn’t tip you off – and the first book in the Live to Tell trilogy. It has a 3.79-star average, and readers who liked it mentioned the multiple storylines, though readers who disliked it said it often felt like too much to follow. The second and third books in the trilogy have 3.5+ averages, too.

The Inn Boonsboro Trilogy Boxed Set by Nora Roberts is still $4.99. Each book individually is $6-9 digitally, so the set of three for around $5 is a great deal. I’ve featured this deal before, and I’m happy it’s still going on. I’ve gifted this set to a few readers who have told me they loved having the whole series, and really liked the inn, the renovation story, and the ghost. There’s some mild ParaNora touches in this contemporary series, which has a 4+ star average on Goodreads.
This boxed set features all three books of the Inn Boonsboro Trilogy: The Next Always, The Last Boyfriend, and The Perfect Hope.

Good stuff. I’ll check the Australian books out, for sure. Nice alternative.
Maybe this is me being 12, but I really enjoy the juxtaposition of “erotic romance” and “down under” in the post’s title. Also it makes me want an “Erotic Romance, a Down Under Boxed Set” mashup.
Cat C: You might find a bit of a mashup of that in LOVE DOWN UNDER… Just sayin’… 🙂
Thanks very much for the share! Much appreciated.
