I don’t have a good luck charm or ritual. If it is to be…it will be.
Thank you ladies for your generosity.
Ginger
luck well i do have on my writs on my charm bracelet- lucky clover- irish lyre and star and touch them when i am wishing for something-
I wear something that has sentimental value to me. Something that reminds me of my good fortune in life.
I don’t have any lucky charms & I’m not sure I believe in them, but I’m convinced that if I change my rituals, something bad will happen, so I stick to them in order to avoid “bad luck”.
I don’t believe in luck but I do believe in prayer. Blessings are my luck.
I’m not too superstitious but I carry a Lucky Loonie in my purse! For non-Canadians that would be a Canadian dollar coin featuring a loon. 😀
My Lucky Charm would be my mom and my Puppy Bear I love showing my Werebear Picture off and he really helped me win a New Kindle so yes he is my Lucky Werebear
What I do for luck is… wake up and know that today is going to be great!! I have a happy-go-lucky personality, and never let life get me down.
I wear a necklace with a picture of my son i and lock of his red hair. thanks for the opportinity to win.
After reading some of the readers lucky quirks I was a bit shocked by the fact that I don’t have a “lucky ritual” and I’m wondering if I’m too old or its too late to find one. It’s nice to know that these rituals work for all these people. Might go and play the euromillions now and see if the luck rubbed off on me.
I was born on Friday the 13th with a full moon I don’t need luck 🙂
I carry a lucky elephant in my purse at all times. Two if I am visitng a casino!
I don’t really have any luck rituals- I just cross my fingers and hope for the best (while expecting the worst) – my husband says I’m a pessimist because of this, I say I’m pragmatic.
I carry a copy of Bloodsucking Fiends: a love story by Christopher Moore on every flight I take as a good luck charm to make sure I make it back home. I’ve done this for 15 years and have lost 3 copies of it because I keep putting it in those pockets they have for magazines and forgetting about it.
I already feel lucky. Well, that’s what I like to call him. ???? Seriously, how awesome awesome is this contest!! Love the authors, love their works, humor, compassion, and spirit. And would love to see that diamond bracelet on my wrist!
Wow! Now that is a giveaway!
I hold my breath while I do things…crazy, right???
I don’t have any lucky charms. Usually I keep a positive attitude about things. If it happens that I win something then it is meant to be, and if I don’t win it just means I wasn’t supposed to. Good karma vibes. 😀
I knock on wood sometimes, but I do not really have an overall to obtain luck lol.
i have a special pin I wear that belonged to my mother
What do I do for luck? I have a pair of earrings from a friend that I am convinced are lucky – even when I am having a bad day, it always gets better with those earrings.
I knock on wood – even if the closest wood happens to be my thick skull!
Right-side up penny! Even now I’ll pick one up if I happen to spot one.
Right-side up penny! Even now I’ll pick one up if I happen to spot one in the road or whatever.
I always say a little prayer to my brother up in heaven.
I cross my fingers!
For luck . . . I make sure I have my earrings on. Weird, but there it is.
All my lucky rituals have to do with going on stage.
Before I go on stage, I have a little dance and a warm-up song I sing: “Will you, will you follow, follow me…? Through the greenfields…follow me.”
The song takes me through an octave-and-a-half range, and the dance loosens my joints. Or at least, that’s what I tell people.
Also, I must perform this ritual off-stage right. Off-stage left simply won’t do.
That said, sometimes before I’m to do something difficult, or something I don’t know I’ll succeed in (like a final at school), I find myself singing, “Will you follow, follow me?”
I knock on wood as well. But if I win – I’ll start a new tradition of wearing diamonds to Get Lucky 😉
Not a religious person, but for luck I pray.
I have a lucky pair of running socks that I wear in all my races. They are magical!
I kiss my husband for luck.
Ummmm…I have absolutely no luck so maybe I need to come up with some kind of lucky charm. Maybe getting a quicky with my husband…
I don’t really have a strategy or any charms, I just “hold my thumb(s)” (English speakers would say “cross my fingers”) and hope for the best 🙂
I stick to that old stand by of crossing my fingers. My Irish mother had many rituals but I didn’t pick any of them up.
my lucky charms: a lacy bra, the number 8, and a bracelet made for me by a friend who passed away.
For good luck, I pick up pennies. They are usually dirty and on the street, and I can’t recall the last time I ever used one in real life. I really DON’T want to pick them up- but if one catches my eye, I can’t NOT pick it up. I feel guilty- like I’m not fulfilling that poor thing’s destiny of bringing me luck. Who else will appreciate it like I do?
When choosing numbers I stick to my lucky #3, and I also pick up lucky pennies.
I’m not really superstitious so I don’t carry any special lucky charms or tokens. I just cross my fingers, close my eyes and hope that things turn out right!
What I do for luck is wear a cross necklace and I also wear an angel bracelet when I work . I try to stick to the same routine and be persistent in the things that I do. Good Luck everyone !
I have a short “mantra” to repeat.
