I carry a raw amethyst stone on me at all times
For luck i would pet my black cat on all friday the 13ths, and most full moons. That is the only times i make a point of doing something to keep from getting bad luck.
Work hard, pray, and see how things turn out! Gorgeous bracelet, and that set’s on my phone waiting for me to read 😉
Cross my fingers, close my eyes and make a wish!
The only time I use a good luck charm is during football season. Every time my team plays, I wear the same shirt.
Positive thinking! And if a project is going badly, I take a 15 minute “time out” to read or nap to reset my day!
Knock on wood
Sex. I figure sex always puts me in a good mood, so it probably works like a good luck charm as well. Seriously. Before a job interview…sex. Before taking an exam….sex. It works for me.
I’m Scot Irish and always wear green on st party’s plus I wear my birthstone everyday..it’s my lucky ring.
I also knock on wood, never step on cracks, never walk under ladder and always look for that 4 leaf clover..then I have green beer..lol
To keep my favorite football team winning (go Fighting Ducks!), I pick a favorite shirt for the season (usually a new one, last year it was a Mariota jersey, because of course) and match it with accessories- earrings, shoes, socks, etc. If the team keeps winning, hooray! If they get on a losing streak, then something gets chucked- usually the accessories in favor of past proven winners. Gotta help keep my team winning!
I pray. I believe luck is a blessing!
I have several charms and pic of my kids that I put out when I go to bingo with my Granny who is 92 lol shes a fireball <3
I try to stick to a routine. I’m kind of OCD about rituals. I guess my luck is based on repetition. 🙂
we use our family birthday’s on the Roulette table, we have done good.
Simple: I throw salt over my shoulder EVERY time I spill it.
Extreme: Wearing my favorite color combinations is the big gun–when I absolutely need all the luck and confidence I can possibly muster, it’s green-violet-and-black from head to toe. Yes, even hair ribbons. Yes, even jewelry. Yes, even makeup. (*Luckily*, I own a number of different things that can be combined to achieve the total effect without looking completely tacky.)
Oh, and I got married on Friday the Thirteenth of last month, too!
Play my kids and grandkids birthdays if I try my luck at the lottery. All else, I use my spoon pendant. It’s a pendant that stands for extra energy related to my disease. If you’re curious you can go to the spoon theory through Google. It’s kinda cool!
I do a myriad of things. Cross my fingers, refuse to step on cracks, knock on wood. I also wear a ring that my grandparents gave me on special occasions when luck is needed. I also reach out to my loved one who have passed and ask them to look down on me when I need that special bit of luck.
When I was much younger and could actually get down on the grass, I loved to look for four leaf clovers. My Dad, God rest his soul, used to find one every time he looked; I have no idea how he did it, but I would always ask him to look with me as I knew one of us would find at least one and it wasn’t me.
Now a days, when I get to a casino, I like to wear something green. I had been told that green attracts green, but it has been something like 30 years of gambling and I still have not won except one time, and guess what, I was not wearing green that time.
So I guess I don’t have a lucky charm after all, but maybe next time at the casino, I will luck out, fingers crossed, knock on wood!!!! 🙂
Looking forward to reading the book.
Thanks girls.
Cynthia
I have a religious “coin” thing that belonged to my father-in-law that I carry in my purse for safe travels and I always hand money to a cashier with it all in the same direction, the faces have to be facing me.
I wear various jewelry that I consider lucky especially for job interviews. Also I have a toy Hedwig that lives in my purse, I have lots of what I think of as little toys that help to watch over me. I think of my as my lares.
I don’t have any lucky charms. I just pray.
I cross my fingers for luck
I don’t really havEva lucky charm. I am superstitious though!
I Love the number 13 😀 my baby brother was born on the 13th and he is my favorite brother shhhhh don’t tell . I also owned a black cat named Tiffany for 19 yrs I still miss her. I walk under ladders , believe in Love at first sight . The glass is half full. I just try is all that’s my luck
For luck I wear some of my favorite clothes.
I don’t have a lucky charm. I don’t have much good luck. I could be in a drawing or contest with one other person and still lose.
I have a ring that belonged to my grandmother that I carry for luck.
I’ve never been truly lucky (or unlucky for that matter), so I’ve never had anything that’s worked as my lucky charm. I’ve also tried to learn to never over analyze something, because then it really doesn’t go my way. Not that that has always worked for me either…
No lucky rituals…’tho I do always try to throw spilled salt over my left shoulder…or is it my right…???
I put on my best jewelry (I always hear it takes money to make money, so I dress up like I have money even though I don’t), then I take my lucky rabbit’s foot in my pocket and keep rubbing it as I keep saying in my head, come on big money!
I have dishes that belonged to my grandmother that I have to use every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’m not necessarily looking for luck. More her blessing and a little part of her spirit since she’s not with us in person any longer.
I don’t really have anything that I do. I will knock on wood to prevent something bad. I might mentally cross my fingers but I don’t actually do it. 🙂
I always put my left sock on first, and when I go to put my shoes on, I put the left one on first as well. I also set my alarm clock to end with a 1 – 6:31. I can’t fall asleep if I know my clock isn’t set to end in a 1. My lucky number is 6.
Lucky mittens for football!
I just believe you make your own luck. I also try too use my nephews sports numbers when I need to choose numbers.
what I do for luck is make wishes on stars and of course birthday candles. I pray too that everything comes out all right. I may not get everything I want but I admit I have been lucky so far.
I keep one cigarette turned upside down in my pack.
My luck has more to do with Sports. I wear the same thing to every basketball game and the same gear to every NASCAR race. On a daily basis, it has more to do with OCD. I stick to the same routine in getting ready every day. Down to the detail. Or I’m terrified something will go wrong!
BUT, once Spring approaches whoever in the house sees the first Robin says “Robin, Robin, Red breast…bring me good luck”!
