Three Elizabeth Hoyt Romances at $3.99 Each!

  • The Raven Prince

The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt

The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt is $3.99 right now. All three novels in the Princes series are $3.99, in fact. This book is much loved by historical romance readers, and has a 4-star average on GoodReads. Readers who love it especially like that the hero and heroine are both a bit unconventional: neither of them is superbly good-looking, a fact that has influenced their lives in several ways, and both are over thirty.

There comes a time in a woman’s life when she must do the unthinkable – and find employment. For the widowed Anna Wren, that means taking a job as female secretary for the Earl of Swartingham.

Secretaries are always male – never female – as Anna well knows but the real downfall of her career is the realization that she is falling in love with Edward de Raaf – the Earl. But when she realizes that he is going to visit a brothel in London to take care of his ‘manly’ desires, Anna sees red – and decides to take advantage of the opportunity to also take care of her ‘womanly’ desires – with the Earl as her unknowing lover.

But the Earl has another reason for going to London. He is formalising his betrothal and trying (with little success) to forget about a secretary that has no right being female. Unhandsome, he knows that no woman wants him.

Except for the mysterious lady with whom he spent two unforgettable nights at Aphrodite’s Grotto, the most scandalous brothel in London. But when Anna’s plan is revealed, a bit of blackmail is thrown into the mix, a proposal is rejected and even the Earl himself will be unprepared for the intrigues that ensnare them.

  • The Leopard Prince

The Leopard Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt

The Leopard Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt is $3.99. This book’s hero ripped my heart out with one line. This is a cross-boundaries romance, with a noblewoman heroine hiring the hero as her steward. She’s incredibly wealthy, and he’s suspected of all sorts of terrible things by the villagers.

This book sticks with me, even though I read and reviewed it in 2007. The hero is amazing, though his backstory heartbreak is revealed so late in the story that while he was over it, I as the reader was not. I reviewed this book and gave it a B-, saying, “But when a romance continues to bring a warm smile to my face, and the memory of the plot brings with it a feeling of contentment and tender awe, I’m very very pleased. My only problem: the hero is the one creating these warm, fuzzy feelings. The heroine? I could take her or leave her. It’s not the love story between them that I adored so much; it’s the hero.”

The one thing a lady must never do…

Wealthy Lady Georgina Maitland doesn’t want a husband, though she could use a good steward to run her estates. One look at Harry Pye, and Georgina knows she’s not just dealing with a servant, but a man.

    is fall in love…

Harry has known many aristocrats—including one particular nobleman who is his sworn enemy. But Harry has never met a beautiful lady so independent, uninhibited, and eager to be in his arms.

    with her servant.

Still, it’s impossible to conduct a discreet liaison when poisoned sheep, murdered villagers, and an enraged magistrate have the county in an uproar. The locals blame Harry for everything. Soon it’s all Georgina can do to keep her head above water and Harry’s out of the noose…without missing another night of love.

  • The Serpent Prince

The Serpent Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt

The Serpent Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt is $3.99. This is the third book in the Princes series and has a 3.87-star average on GoodReads. This is another romance between two very widely different people crossing paths: the hero is a very well-dressed fashionable dude, and the heroine is a quiet lady raised and living in the country, far from London. When he’s beaten and left for dead, and she finds him naked, she brings him to her home to care for him. I know some of you love books that begin that way!

When the devil meets an angel…

Country bred Lucy Craddock-Hayes is content with her quiet life. Until the day she trips over an unconscious man—a naked unconscious an—and loses her innocence forever.

he can take her to heaven…

Viscount Simon Iddesleigh was nearly beaten to death by his enemies. Now he’s hell-bent on vengeance. But as Lucy nurses him back to health, her honesty startles his jaded sensibilities—even as it ignites a desire that threatens to consume them both.

    or to hell.

Charmed by Simon’s sly wit, urbane manners, and even his red-heeled shoes, Lucy falls hard and fast for him. Yet as his honor keeps him from ravishing her, his revenge sends his attackers to her door. As Simon wages war on his foes, Lucy wages her own war for his soul using the only weapon she has—her love…

  1. Great deal on a great series. I happened to love the heroine in The Leopard Prince though–bold, inquisitive, confident and unconventional. A woman with her own style. The hero is amazing too, of course. Several scenes from this story are in my all-time top favorite for being utterly romantic (and hot). Honestly, I end up rereading this book once or twice a year.

LOVED the Raven Prince! However, The Serpent Prince starts out well but there are some really odd and unappealing scenes later on. One in particular the Heroine is stabbed and then the hero has sex with her right after? idk if I was stabbed I’m not sure how into passionate sex I’d be….never been stabbed though so I guess I can’t truly say. I’m also not sure how redeemed the hero is by the end. I’m a huge Elizabeth Hoyt fan but that book really didn’t work for me.

The amazon link on the Raven Prince is mis-typed and doesn’t work.
