  1. Lammie says:

Wow. I think I will have to rewatch North & South (for about the 100th time) this weekend. Richard Armitage is just wonderful.

  2. PointyEars42 says:

…and after N&S, try Armitage doing the audiobook of Georgette Heyer’s “Venetia”.

  3. Elle says:

Wow, did I download that *so fast*.

  4. DonnaMarie says:

YAY! New bathtub soundtrack. My Ron Perlman “Beauty and the Beast” tape is getting decidedly wobbley.

  5. JaneL says:

Is that not fabulous?? It just made my whole day!

  6. Bea says:

It just makes my toes curl, all those lovely, lovely voices…

  7. Redcrow says:

Well, okay, as long as he doesn’t want to read me William Blake…

  8. JaneL says:

I dunno, I think hearing this from him could be pretty sweet:

    Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
    In the forests of the night;
    What immortal hand or eye,
    Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

  9. Well, now I’m swooning at my desk.

  10. Lauren says:

Completely off topic but I just realized that ‘Bite Me’, Shelly Laurenston’s latest in the Pride Series is FREE right now!
(I paid full price when it came out *single tear*)

  11. Kristen says:

That moment in the finale of the “Vicar of Dibley” where he looks at Dawn French and tells her he wants to marry her… I have it as a gif. Downloading this immediately.

  12. ck says:

    I don’t really like audiobooks…Richard Armitage…click. I’ll be in my bunk. 😉

  13. Redcrow says:

JaneL – oh, no objections to tigers, it’s the (spoiler) part I’d rather avoid.

(Just to clarify: the Armitage/Blake combination is something I – and a bunch of other people – will have to deal with quite a lot in the near future. For the fandom-related reasons. So I’m kind of relieved he doesn’t read any Blake on this audiobook. I’m not morally ready for that.)

  14. Lora says:

Oh. I need a cigarette. I should go lie down before I faint.

  15. @SB Sarah says:

    @DonnaMarie:

I LOVE that Beauty and the Beast soundtrack SO MUCH. I’m so glad to know I’m not alone.

  16. Sarah S. says:

Tom Hiddleston did one, too: may i feel, said he (also by cummings)

  17. Denise says:

    Thank you!!!

  18. Oh my giddy aunt. That was so… chocolatey.
