Giveaway: A KitchenAid Stand (Mixer) and Lynsay Sands!

Book The Immortal Who Loved Me To celebrate the 21st book in Lynsay Sands’ Argeneau series, The Immortal Who Loved Me, Avon asked if they could give away a 4.5 quart Kitchen Aid standing mixer here at the hot pink palace.

Like I would say no to anything that involved the remote possibility of baked goods, right?

Why baked goods? As Caro, the lovely publicists who came up with this buttery idea wrote to me, “Since the heroine, Sherry Carne, owns a kitchen goods store, I thought it’d be fun to give away a fancy KitchenAid stand mixer, because honestly, who doesn’t want one of those? It’s like the Cadillac of cookie equipment.” She’s not wrong – I have one, and I use it all the time. So let’s get to it, eh?

The grand prize is an Ultra Power® Series 4.5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer from KitchenAid, in the winner’s choice of color – and this thing comes in red, green, blue, pink, yellow, and something that looks a lot like Tiffany blue – it’s kind of amazing.

Ahoy, widget!

I would bake so many things with that mixer. The hand mixer isn’t doing it for me any more. I could barely dream of buying myself a white mixer on sale but getting to choose a color would be even better.

I would bake chocolate chip cookies for my 3 kids, then make banana pudding for my husband.

Entering even though I’m already a long and proud owner of this indispensable Kitchen Aid mixer. But it could break. Or if lucky enough to win, maybe I could gift to a certain someone who seems to be getting overly attached to mine 🙂

Do not underestimate the critical role nuts play in certain cookies! Verboten only if someone is allergic.

Thanks and good luck, everyone! *off to find some cookies*
