Lord of Scoundrels
RECOMMENDED: Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase is $1.99 for the 20th anniversary of its publication. Just in time for weekend reading, this is a classic and much-loved historical romance. It has a 4+ star average, and is one of the most frequently recommended historical romances, especially for those new to the romance genre. If you haven’t tried it, treat yourself.
They call him many names, but Angelic isn’t one of them . . .
Sebastian Ballister, the notorious Marquess of Dain, is big, bad, and dangerous to know. No respectable woman would have anything to do with the “Bane and Blight of the Ballisters”—and he wants nothing to do with respectable women. He’s determined to continue doing what he does best—sin and sin again—and all that’s going swimmingly, thank you . . . until the day a shop door opens and she walks in.
She’s too intelligent to fall for the worst man in the world . . .
Jessica Trent is a determined young woman, and she’s going to drag her imbecile brother off the road to ruin, no matter what it takes. If saving him—and with him, her family and future—means taking on the devil himself, she won’t back down. The trouble is, the devil in question is so shockingly irresistible, and the person who needs the most saving is—herself!

Magic Breaks
Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews is $3.64 at Amazon and Google:Play. The ebook is $12.99 at BN, Kobo, and elsewhere because the paperback doesn’t come out until March.
This is book 7 in the Kate Daniels series, and the newest in the series as well – it came out in July 2014. It has a 4.5-star average (whoa!) on GoodReads, too. If you’ve been waiting for a price drop, here’s your chance!
No matter how much the paranormal politics of Atlanta change, one thing always remains the same: if there’s trouble, Kate Daniels will be in the middle of it…
As the mate of the Beast Lord, Curran, former mercenary Kate Daniels has more responsibilities than it seems possible to juggle. Not only is she still struggling to keep her investigative business afloat, she must now deal with the affairs of the pack, including preparing her people for attack from Roland, a cruel ancient being with god-like powers. Since Kate’s connection to Roland has come out into the open, no one is safe—especially those closest to Kate.
As Roland’s long shadow looms ever nearer, Kate is called to attend the Conclave, a gathering of the leaders from the various supernatural factions in Atlanta. When one of the Masters of the Dead is found murdered there, apparently at the hands of a shapeshifter, Kate is given only twenty-four hours to hunt down the killer. And this time, if she fails, she’ll find herself embroiled in a war which could destroy everything she holds dear…

Lord of Scoundrels narrated by Kate Reading is sheer perfection! Recommended! I enjoyed it even more than on print.
I agree with Bea….LoS in audio is sheer perfection. Highly recommended….it is delicious!
Nora Robert’s latest The Liar is $5.99 for the Kindle version. Not sure how long this will last.
Thanks for the heads-up on Magic Breaks. I got it from the library when it first came out, but I like having a copy of my own.
Looks like you can take advantage of Amazon’s discount on audiobooks when you buy the kindle version. Buy the Lord of Scoundrels ebook for 1.99 and add the audio for another 2.99 on the right. Both versions for less than the audible sale price.
