Mr. DeSalvo and his pink gladiator style are ready on the right, so let’s get to the next pair of celebratory gift packs! I’d call them gift baskets but there’s no actual basket. Maybe the basket is imaginary.

I frequently recommend J.D. Robb’s … in Death series.
Happy anniversary!
Julia quinn
I recommend Jennifer Crusie because they are funny.
Carsingtons by Loretta Chase (Mr. Impossible, Mr. Wonderful, et al). I also LOVE Jennifer Crusie. I just saw someone recommend Bet Me. Minn. Damn she writes great women.
My recs depend on the subgenre that I think the person will like, but my greatest success happened when I recommended an early Suzanne Brockmann Seal Team 16 book to my non-reader sister. She still doesn’t read other genres of books, but it opened the door for her to a joy in contemporary romances. 🙂
How fun!! Thanks!!
I tend to recommend small town romances.
The Hathaway series by Lisa Kleypas or lately 3 weeks with lady X
I recommend Marjorie M Liu’s Dirk and Steele series a lot.
Nora Roberts
I always recommend Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie because it was the first story i fell in love with.
The book that I’ve read the most is Three Fates by Nora Roberts, which is my absolute favorite book. 🙂
I recommend Kushiel’s Dart by Jacqueline Carey. Although I guess it’s not exactly a romance 🙂
Outlander. I have given away many copies of this book! Lol
I love to recommend Lisa Kleypas!
Jennifer Crusie – Bet Me!
I don’t recommend a lot, but usually Courtney Milan books or Lord of Scoundrels.
The temporary Wife by Mary Balogh. Easy to recommend a book you love.
Current best recommendations: Sarah MacLean and Eloisa James…
Usually a book by Nora Roberts. Which one depends on whether they like suspense, paranormal, etc.
Anything by Lisa Kleypas.
What book do I recommend most often.. ANY BOOK I AM READING.
I always recommend Sarah Maclean’s Rules of Scoundrels series. It was my introduction to the genre and it hasn’t failed me yet 😀
I recommend Sarah MacLean.
Sadly, I’m not on Twitter and I can’t get my husband to tweet for me. 😉
The Rosie Project: for sheer uniqueness of character!
Most recommended? Kristan Higgins and Susan Elizabeth Phillips’ Chicago Stars series. For historical – Eloisa James, Loretta Chase and Tessa Dare
You can’t go wrong with Julia Quinn.
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation
I most recommend a few books by Jenny Crusie, namely Bet Me, Welcome to Temptation, or Agnes and the Hitman. I especially recommend Agnes if it is a guy I’m trying to get to read one of these.
If they share my snarky sense of humor -then Shelley Laurenston. If not, anything by Tessa Dare!
It depends on the person asking, but it seems to generally be Lord of Scoundrels for historical, Bet Me for contemporary, something by Nora that fits the appropriate genre (suspense, paranora, straight romance, etc), or something by Jill Shalvis or Kristan Higgans if that better fits the reader.
Lately have recommended The Rosie Project, and when someone wants a tearjerker I suggest Me Before You.
I don’t usually recommend romance novels to people around me due to differing tastes, but I managed to convince friends to read books by Julie James and Suzannne Elizabeth Phillips.
I probably recommend Courtney Milan the most often.
I don’t recommend romance often usually Beverly Jenkins.
I always recommend Jude Deveraux book, especially her historical Romances. Love them!!
Depends on the person but Jennifer Crusie, LoS, and Meljean Brook are always a good bet.
Most often I recommend less know indie authors – Knitting in the City series by Penny Reid is my most popular recommendation, together with Amour et Chocolat series by Laura Florand.
Probably Georgette Heyer – then Julia Quinn and Eloisa James
