Fans of the longstanding series on GR anxiously awaited this hero’s story, though some found the book to be a “filler book” in the series. It has a 4.2-star rating on GR.

Though the action is a little slow going, readers found this book to be a refreshing story in the paranormal romance genre. It has a 3.7-star rating on GR.

Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor by Lisa Kleypas is a Kindle Daily Deal for $2.99! Hopefully we can get some price-matching up in here because Kleypas is certainly an auto-buy for some people (especially me). This is also the first book in her contemporary Friday Harbor series. There’s also a dash of magical realism. While many loved this book, some felt it fell short of her historical romances in terms of plot. Have you read this one?

I’ve read “Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor”, I enjoyed it but wished it was longer and more detailed; but the series got less engaging as the books went on. I bought, but haven’t read “Crystal Cove” (4th book). Every time I look at it, just can’t get myself interested enough to read it.
Out of the corner of my eye as I was buying Grave Intentions, I saw the cover for Grave Destinations, and thought it was another Orca King!
Look at that tiny scythe. That WANTS to be a scythe when it grows up. What is it? A SCYTHE FOR ANTS?
