At the Billionaire's Wedding is available for preorder for $2.99! This book features a handful of favorite authors: Maya Rodale, Caroline Linden, Katharine Ashe, and Miranda Neville. Normally, these authors write amazing historical romances, but it looks like they're trying out something more contemporary this time. The book features four stories and, for those who have a major weakness for billionaires…well, the cup runneth over. The book comes out November 10th.
A stately home in the English countryside seems the ideal place for a bad boy billionaire and his bride to tie the knot. Until the Internet fails. And the oven breaks. And paparazzi invade. And police crash the bachelorette party. And four unlikely couples discover that passion never waits for perfection, and happily ever after is just an “I do” away.
“The Best Laid Planner” by Miranda Neville
Arwen Kilpatrick gets her big break when she’s hired to organize the wedding of an old friend—to a billionaire. Arwen doesn’t have time for romance, not even with the sexy hotel handyman, Harry Compton. But putting on the wedding of the year means dealing with one surprise after another, including the discovery that Harry is so much more than he seems.
“Will You Be My Wi-Fi?” by Caroline Linden
All Natalie Corcoran wants is peace and quiet while she writes her cookbook. The lavish wedding party at the hotel next door is driving her crazy—especially the sexy lawyer who wants her wi-fi password. But Archer Quinn is swamped with work and will do anything to convince her to take a chance on him… first with her wi-fi, then with her friendship, and then with more. But he only has a week to persuade her they'll be scrumptious together…
“The Day It Rained Books” by Katharine Ashe
Swept away by a mysterious benefactor to the wedding of the year, librarian Cali Blake is living a fairytale. The only thing missing is Prince Charming. Instead the guests include the last man she wants to see—her archenemy, millionaire playboy Piers Prescott. Piers is determined to conquer Cali’s resistance to him, and he’ll stop at nothing to have her. As long as she can remember it’s just for one week, could he be the perfect wedding fling?
“That Moment When You Fall In Love” by Maya Rodale
Sassy reporter Roxanna Lane might be falling for her date, sexy media mogul Damien Knightly, who just happens to be her boss. But he ruins everything by asking her to report on her best friend’s wedding. Damien Knightly is definitely falling for Roxanna, but thanks to an impulsive wager he must choose between losing the crown jewel of his media empire…or the woman he loves.

Down on Love by Jayne Denker is 99c! This contemporary romance is the first book in the Marsden Novel series. The heroine is a snarky relationship columnist, though a trip back to her hometown reunites her with her crush from high school. And of course, the rumors start flying. These seems like a second chance romance, but I'm always hesitant to stick a book in that category when “crushes” are involved. Readers really enjoyed the dose of humor in this romance, but some complained that the main couple lacked chemistry. Any takers?
When it comes to love, she's a professional skeptic. Is it too late for a career change?
If there's one thing Georgiana Down is an expert in, it's bad relationships. That's what inspired her blog, Down on Love, where she gives snarky advice–usually along the lines of “dump him.” In fact, George is abstaining from men all together. At least that's the plan–until she makes a trip back to her tiny hometown in the Catskills, where meddling is an art form. . .
George loves helping out with her new baby niece, but she's counting the days until she returns to Boston. Then she runs into Casey Bowen, her high school crush. The boy she once loved is now a handsome grown man–and suddenly George needs a little advice of her own. She's in the right place, because when she drunk posts on her blog, everyone in Marsden has something to say about George and Casey. It's like high school all over again–but maybe this time she'll get things right. . .

Learning the Ropes by T.J. Kline is $1.99! For those who like a little bit of the country in their contemporary romance, this book might be for you. With a barrel racing heroine and playboy cowboy attempting (and failing) to play matchmaker, this book is giving me some Lorelei James vibes. But probably without the menage. This is #3 in the Rodeo series, but if you're looking to snag what's out, the previous books are also on sale: Rodeo Queen ( A | BN | K ) and The Cowboy and the Angel ( A | BN | K ). This particular book has a 4.5-star rating on GR.
Rule #1—Don't lose focus…
Barrel racer Alicia Kanani has had a long road to the top – and she's not quite there yet. Finances have always been tight, and in the glitz and glam world of professional rodeo, that means that second best is probably the best she can hope for. With the National Finals coming up, she's certainly not looking for a pair of cowboys to distract her.
Rule #2—Don't gamble what you can't live without…
Playboy Chris Thomas is sure Alicia's the perfect woman for his level-headed team roping partner, David Greenly. It seems like a match, until Chris realizes he wants Alicia for himself. The stakes have been raised; David and Chris are supposed to be a team, and this time, they're on opposite sides.
Can Alicia rope this playboy's heart, or will they find themselves too tangled up to let true love in?

How to Knit a Love Song by Rachel Herron is 99c! This is the first book in the Cypress Hollow Yarn series and is a contemporary romance. Leaving the city for the peace and quiet of a small California town, the heroine moves into a cottage left to her by her mentor. Our hero owns the land surrounding the new cottage and he doesn't take kindly to the town's newest resident and former city girl. Some reader found the romance to be rather predictable and simple, though others warn of the perfectly squee-worthy dialogue. Has anyone read this book?
Abigail is more than ready for a change when she inherits a cottage from her beloved mentor, knitting guru Eliza Carpenter. Leaving the oppressive city for the greener pastures of a small California beach town, she intends to turn her cozy little windfall into a knitting shop and spend her days spinning, designing, and purling. But she's not going to be welcomed with open arms by her new neighbor. Eliza's disgruntled nephew, the gorgeous Cade, now owns everything surrounding Abigail's ramshackle new home, and he views this sexy city girl as an unwanted interloper.
But chemistry working overtime is drawing two very different people closer than they ever thought possible. And when the past that Abigail thought she'd left behind comes calling, she'll have to somehow learn to trust her handsome adversary with much more than just her heart.

Shit. I’m going to have to break my “no titles that include words ending with -illionaire” rule. Because Maya Rodale? Caroline Linden? Heroines who write cookbooks? Pun-tastic titles? There is so much catnip in there that I just can’t resist. Also, I really enjoyed the previous collaboration these authors did (At the Duke’s Wedding).
@DreadPirateRachel, I was waffling on purchasing At the Billionaire’s Wedding (Billionaire. Such implausibility to begin with.) until I reached your comment that these authors collaborated on At the Duke’s Wedding. I think it is the perfect anthology. Each story is an excellent stand-alone and all the stories interlocked perfectly. It was such fun reading each couple’s story with the awareness of other relationships and escapades occurring simultaneously.
@LML
I agree. I’ve read several themed compilations that are connected only in the loosest sense, but ATDW worked so well for me. I enjoyed every single story. None of them felt like filler or fluff, and I liked how consistent the characterization was throughout all four pieces.
At the Duke’s Wedding is only 99 cents on Amazon
Three of Eloisa James’ novels are 2.99 right now. They are each series starters; Desperate Duchesses, Much Ado About You, and Duchess in Love!
I just read Cora’s Heart, the fourth Cypress Hollow Book and liked it quite a lot. Nicely written and the dumb things done by hero and heroine are totally understandable in view of their backstory. So I think I will give How to Knit a Love Song a go.
I have a vague feeling that this anthology is something I’m never going to live down buying, but Caroline Linden!
