All Lined Up by Cora Carmack is a newly released new adult romance. It’s $0.99 at most vendors. Set within a football-loving university in Texas, this book features a romance between a player and the coach’s daughter. SCANDALOUS! Readers have praised the writing, though some found it a bit young for their tastes. It has a 4-star rating on GR. Is this on your TBR list?
Dallas Cole loathes football. That’s what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past.
But life doesn’t always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again.
Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It’s obliterated.
Dallas doesn’t know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn’t know that Dallas is his new coach’s daughter. And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.

Foreplay by Sophie Jordan is $2.99 at most vendors and $1.99 at Amazon! This is the first book in the Ivy Chronicles series and is a new adult romance between a vigin heroine and bad boy hero. Pining for her best friend’s brother, our heroine decides to get a little “practice” in before she makes her move. Enter Reece, the tattooed bartender. From what I can gather, the story is told from the heroine’s POV, but it’s not first-person? The heroine’s narrating is definitely something some readers disliked. Others felt like this was a fresh take on the emerging New Adult genre.
Before she goes after the life she’s always wanted, she’s about to find the one she needs.
Pepper has been hopelessly in love with her best friend’s brother, Hunter, for like ever. He’s the key to everything she’s always craved: security, stability, family. But she needs Hunter to notice her as more than just a friend. Even though she’s kissed exactly one guy, she has just the plan to go from novice to rock star in the bedroom—take a few pointers from someone who knows what he’s doing.
Her college roommates have the perfect teacher in mind. But bartender Reece is nothing like the player Pepper expects. Yes, he’s beyond gorgeous, but he’s also dangerous, deep—with a troubled past. Soon what started as lessons in attraction are turning both their worlds around, and showing just what can happen when you go past foreplay and get to what’s real…

Jet by Jay Crownover is $2.99! This is the second book in her Marked Men series. The first book, Rule ( A | BN ), is on sale for $1.99 at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. If you like your heroes in leather pants and your heroine with a Southern drawl, look no further. Readers loved the rock star hero, though they admit having to warm up to the heroine. Anyone interested in checking out the series?
With his tight leather pants and a sharp edge that makes him dangerous, Jet Keller is every girl’s rock and roll fantasy. But Ayden Cross is done walking on the wild side with bad boys. She doesn’t want to give in to the heat she sees in Jet’s dark, haunted eyes. She’s afraid of getting burned from the sparks of their spontaneous combustion, even as his touch sets her on fire.
Jet can’t resist the Southern Belle with mile-long legs in cowboy boots who defies his every expectation. Yet the closer he feels to Ayden, the less he seems to know her. While he’s tempted to get under her skin and undo her in every way, he knows firsthand what happens to two people with very different ideas about relationships.
Will the blaze burn into an enduring love. . . or will it consume their dreams and turn them to ashes?

I Want It That Way by Ann Aguirre (Yes, that Ann Aguirre) is $3.99 at most vendors and $3.03 at Amazon! This is the first book in her 2B Trilogy, though the other books seem to focus on separate couples, and a relatively recent release. Oh and all the titles are named after Backstreet Boys songs. So no, you aren’t imagining that. Something I find particularly interesting about this new adult romance is that the hero is a young, single dad. The romance starts with a friends-with-benefits plot, which readers either seemed to love or hate.
Nadia Conrad has big dreams, and she’s determined to make them come true—for her parents’ sake as well as her own. But between maintaining her college scholarship and working at the local day care to support herself, she barely has time to think, let alone date. Then she moves into a new apartment and meets the taciturn yet irresistible guy in 1B….
Daniel Tyler has grown up too fast. Becoming a single dad at twenty turned his life upside down—and brought him heartache he can’t risk again. Now, as he raises his four-year-old son while balancing a full-time construction management job and night classes, a social life is out of the question. The last thing he wants is for four noisy students to move into the apartment upstairs. But one night, Nadia’s and Ty’s paths cross, and soon they can’t stay away from each other.
The timing is all wrong—but love happens when it happens. And you can’t know what you truly need until you stand to lose it.

The cover on All Lined UP is frightening. Is that a ferret lying on her breast? If so, the guy is creepily mesmerized by the ferret and, if not, he is creepily mesmerized by her breasts.
So new adults are just discovering ferrets/breasts?
Perhaps the ferret is the mascot at Rusk University? :=)
