From Bibliophile and from Mel Johansson on Twitter comes this adorable exercise routine. I love this, but given the rather persnickety nature of my three cats, I think sticking to the Romance Novel Workouts is a safer option!
I hope your weekend is filled with your favorite things, human and animal!

A man who looks like that and likes cats?
Someone write him up as a hero right now!
My cat weighs 14 pounds. I don’t think I’m fit enough to deal with 14 pounds of squirming free weights. I’ll stick with the Romance Reader Workout.
What if your cat is one of these???

Now that . . . is adorable. But considering that my Maine Coon is 22 pounds and long enough to put his paws on the counter without jumping, I think I’ll stick with inanimate free weights for now.
My, those are some docile cats! Although I’ll admit mine has been known to jump up on my back when I’m trying to do push-ups or anything that involves being on all fours. I thought she was just being a pest, but apparently she was trying to help. Who knew?
No way I could do that with mine, she doesn’t like being carried for more than 5 seconds. Perhaps I could borrow My mom’s cat, even though he is quite heavy.
My cat is the ultimate lap cat – he’ll jump into anything that looks like a lap, particularly if I’ve just gotten home from work. This has lead to some…interesting moments during yoga. I was particularly impressed by the time he climbed on as I was prepping Bridge, and then stayed, comfortable and content, while I went in and out of Bridge and the Wheel twice. That is dedication to a lap.
