Time to announce the March Book Club Pick! This month's selection is The Chocolate Kiss by Laura Florand.
Summary? OUI:
Welcome to La Maison des Sorcieres. Where the window display is an enchanted forest of sweets, a collection of conical hats delights the eye and the habitués nibble chocolate witches from fanciful mismatched china. While in their tiny blue kitchen, Magalie Chaudron and her two aunts stir wishes into bubbling pots of heavenly chocolat chaud.
But no amount of wishing will rid them of interloper Philippe Lyonais, who has the gall to open one of his world famous pastry shops right down the street. Philippe's creations seem to hold a magic of their own, drawing crowds of beautiful women to their little isle amidst the Seine, and tempting even Magalie to venture out of her ivory tower and take a chance, a taste. . .a kiss.
Parisian princesses, chocolate witches, pâtissier princes and sweet wishes—an enchanting tale of amour et chocolat.
This book is available digitally and in paperback. As always, All Romance eBooks is offering the 50% eBook Buck rebate if you use code SBTBARE at checkout. The rebate is good from March 1-14, 2013. This book retails at $11.99US so a 50% rebate is a nice bit of ebook cash for future purchases.
And we have a chat date set, too! The Book Club Chat will be Thursday 28 at 9:00pm ET. Laura Florand will join us at 10pm for a Q&A, and I may throw chocolates into the mix as well.

And finally: win a copy!
Kensington is so excited about our selection that they've offered me five print copies of the book. I'm throwing in five digital copies, so there's 10 copies up for grab this weekend, if you're interested!
Just leave a comment with your favorite chocolate dessert and your choice of format (if you have one), and you're entered to win. I'll pick the winners on the evening of Monday 4 March 2013.
Standard disclaimers apply: void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permissible by applicable law. Must be over 18 and fond of dessert to win. Never feed a dog chocolate. Give the chocolate to yourself, instead.
I loved reading this book, as did many other romance fans: Sunita at DA gave it an A-, and Mandi at Smexybooks gave it an A. I hope you'll pick it up this month. It's a wonderfully emotional and delicious story, and so so romantic.

I can’t possibly limit myself to one favorite chocolate dessert, so I’ll mention the most recent fabulous chocolate dessert I had – naranjo cake from Flying Star in Albuquerque. It was like a silky, dense mouse (ha, my voice recognition software wants that to be dance moves) with dark chocolate and orange. Ahh…
mobi would be great.
My favorite chocolate dessert of the moment would be flourless chocolate cake with a raspberry syrup drizzle. Maybe with some actual berries as well. Mmmm….
Oh, and my preferred format would be epub (or print). Thanks!!! 🙂
I love all sorts of chocolate desserts, but my favorite is a rich chocolate cake with too much chocolate icing, served with raspberry chocolate chip ice cream.
My preference is for a digital copy.
Chocolate oh chocolate. Nutella has a firm hold on my gooey heart. From devouring it out of the jar, putting it in a cake recipe, or simply spreading a generous dollop on plain ol’ bread, I can’t get enough of its smooth, nutty, rich, chocolate-y goodness.
As for the format, a print copy or an epub copy would be most appreciated! Happy Reading and Eating Everyone!!!
You all are making me hungry. 🙂 I’m honored to be the Book Club pick and looking forward to the chat. And about to go dream of chocolate all night, thanks to all these posts. Of course, I do tend to do that anyway…
Thanks so much, Sarah, for choosing THE CHOCOLATE KISS.
Favorite chocolate dessert? Anything DARK. As I once told a co-worker who thought the Dark Knight movie was too dark—-I like my Batman the way I like my chocolate 🙂
Thanks for the chance to win…my preference would be digital, but would be happy to get a print book too.
i guess my favorite chocolate desert is chocolate ice cream, specifically Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food.
I love all chocolate desserts, its hard to choose one 😀 My favorites would be dark chocolate though, and I love European styled sweets. I also enjoy Ganache chocolate cake from Mozart Bakery, and Johann Strauss cake too. It makes no difference whether I get paperback or digital, although if its digital I would like an epub format please.
Flourless chocolate cake – oh-so-good!
Looking forward to Chocolate Kiss.
Chocolate fondant, or devil’s food cake. So delicious.
I’d prefer epub, if I win, but can use Calibre to convert files so it doesn’t matter as long as it’s digital. 🙂
I’m not picky about my chocolate. I’ll take whatever I can get and my favorite is whatever I last had. So for right now, that would be the brownie in a mug I whipped up in the microwave a couple days ago. With a scoop of chocolate ice cream on top, it actually is delicious. (Unlike those so-so cake in a mug recipes I’ve tried. So disappointing.)
Epub, please!
It’s good we’re on a French kick with this book, because ohmygawd are proper macarons AMAZING. If no chocolate there, I’m a sucker for Reese’s eggs and Cadbury eggs. Yay, Easter!
I have no preference for format, I’m happy with either one.
Anything with chocolate and peanut butter- I’m in!!
Either format works for me, but I prefer digital 🙂
Dark chocolate-everything, but if I had to choose … nope, I can’t. Just more dark chocolate, please. And thanks for a great giveaway. Either Kindle or Nook would work for me.
I think my favorite desert with chocolate (outside of just plain white chocolate) is mousse. Thanks for the giveaway!
>_> dark chocolate covered and Carmel drenched bacon cupcake… I know it’s amazing though.
And print yay print.
Ooh just remembered also dark chocolate wasabi squares is another odd but good one. >_<.
Favorite chocolate dessert…chocolate chip cookies. Book sounds like a charming read! I would prefer print format. Thank you for the chance to win a copy.
It’s girl scout cookie seasin, and I do love me some thin mints! (I prefer print)
I’ve been mixing hot chocolate and coffee, with productive (bouncy) results!
Print for me!
I’m a suckered for chocolate covered cherries any time of the year! A digital copy of the March pick would be awesome!!
I’m not wild about chocolate candy, but I adore brownies and moist, gooey chocolate cakes. I have an amazing recipe for chocolate caramel brownies that is making my mouth water just thinking about it. I’d love to win an e-copy of the book. It sounds yummy.
My favorite desert is something called coco loco cupcakes which is chocolate with a hint of coconut mixed in! Gives it a lovely undertaste.
I would adore a printed copy of the book! (My library hasn’t gotten it in…yet.)
My favorite chocolate would be See’s Candy’s chocolate buttercream soft center. Although I love their bordeaux also. Would enjoy the book in Kindle format.
My favorite dessert is Molten Lava Cakes. So easy to make.
I would enjoy the printed copy.
Chocolate Chess Pie!
I prefer digital copies. 🙂
flourless chocolate cake and kindle ebook! wooooo!
I love chocolate mud pie and for format Kindle ebook.
There’s this extremely simple dark chocolate cupcake recipe my cousins and I engineered. We started making it for special occasions a few years back, but it’s now become a feature of our holiday gatherings.
