Time to announce the March Book Club Pick! This month's selection is The Chocolate Kiss by Laura Florand.
Summary? OUI:
Welcome to La Maison des Sorcieres. Where the window display is an enchanted forest of sweets, a collection of conical hats delights the eye and the habitués nibble chocolate witches from fanciful mismatched china. While in their tiny blue kitchen, Magalie Chaudron and her two aunts stir wishes into bubbling pots of heavenly chocolat chaud.
But no amount of wishing will rid them of interloper Philippe Lyonais, who has the gall to open one of his world famous pastry shops right down the street. Philippe's creations seem to hold a magic of their own, drawing crowds of beautiful women to their little isle amidst the Seine, and tempting even Magalie to venture out of her ivory tower and take a chance, a taste. . .a kiss.
Parisian princesses, chocolate witches, pâtissier princes and sweet wishes—an enchanting tale of amour et chocolat.
This book is available digitally and in paperback. As always, All Romance eBooks is offering the 50% eBook Buck rebate if you use code SBTBARE at checkout. The rebate is good from March 1-14, 2013. This book retails at $11.99US so a 50% rebate is a nice bit of ebook cash for future purchases.
And we have a chat date set, too! The Book Club Chat will be Thursday 28 at 9:00pm ET. Laura Florand will join us at 10pm for a Q&A, and I may throw chocolates into the mix as well.

And finally: win a copy!
Kensington is so excited about our selection that they've offered me five print copies of the book. I'm throwing in five digital copies, so there's 10 copies up for grab this weekend, if you're interested!
Just leave a comment with your favorite chocolate dessert and your choice of format (if you have one), and you're entered to win. I'll pick the winners on the evening of Monday 4 March 2013.
Standard disclaimers apply: void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permissible by applicable law. Must be over 18 and fond of dessert to win. Never feed a dog chocolate. Give the chocolate to yourself, instead.
I loved reading this book, as did many other romance fans: Sunita at DA gave it an A-, and Mandi at Smexybooks gave it an A. I hope you'll pick it up this month. It's a wonderfully emotional and delicious story, and so so romantic.

This is my favorite question in the world, and I will ponder it as I eat a chocolate croissant.
Nope, can’t commit to a favorite. Right now cake is narrowly beating out brownies in my head, but that’s might be because I made brownies three days ago and now cake is next on the craving agenda.
Oh, and for a none fiction account of chocolate in Paris, y’all should check out David Lebovitz’s The Sweet Life in Paris: http://www.davidlebovitz.com/b…
Any format works for me.
Pecan Mudslide Cookies, which I describe as chocolate loosely held together by flour. That the recipe comes from a Parisian food writer is just a bonus for this contest. http://chocolateandzucchini.co…
Digital is a slight preference, but I haven’t abandoned the dead tree editions yet.
Chocolate mousse is my die-for dessert. Luckily, I won’t make it myself to keep it a rare and beloved treat.
If I could get a mobi or prc, I’d be happy with a digital version!
Chocolate Lava Cake where you put your spoon in the wee cake and a river of warm, molten chocolate spills over. It’s a moment.
I’d love either the paperback or Kindle version.
The old stand-by, freshly baked, homemade chocolate chip cookies. Now I know what I’m doing this weekend – baking cookies!
Either print or a digital kindle version works for me.
I’m pretty lowbrow – I love the Tagalong Girl Scout cookies! I also love the Chocolate Thunder Down Under dessert at Outback Steakhouse. (And I admit that my family makes TONS of very sophomoric jokes about that name, lol.)
Seriously, do we have to pick one chocolate dessert? As far as I’m concerned anything covered with dark, dark chocolate can never be bad for you. But if I had to pick a dessert, I’d pick Molten Lava cake. If I win, epub format will be perfect.
Flourless chocolate cake is hands down my favorite—with ganache topping, of course! I’d prefer print or kindle format.
One chocolate dessert…just one…hmm.
I suppose I’d pick that Chocolate Mousse Shooter at Applebee’s. Oreo bits, whipped cream, chocolate mousse—layers of thick, sweet, and yummy bad-for-me-ness.
(Oh, and digital format is my way to go.)
I loved The Chocolate Kiss!
Sea Salted Dark Chocolate Caramels…OOOH LA LA.
Already have a copy so count me out of the drawing.
This looks yummy
Profiteroles and sea salt dark chocolate caramels tie
digital
The sea salt brownie bites from Trader Joe’s are to die for, and my favorite dessert!
I would like epub or print, please! 🙂
My favorite chocolate dessert is chocolate peanut butter lava cake. Puts me in a coma of bliss every time. Either print or mobi would be wonderful!
I adore the combination of chocolate, pecans and caramel and I’ll take it any way I can get it although I’m especially thrilled when it shows up in either cake or brownie form!
(Mmmmm! I love Turtles! 😉
Either print or digital (Kindle) would be great if I win—thanks!
Yum. Chocolate….,
Flourless chocolate cake with raspberries.
The patisserie by my house makes red velvet brownies will make you see God.
dark chocolate salted caramels! Sooo good!!! Paperback or epub!
Chocolate and English Toffee are my very favorites…mmmmm
mmm chocolate so good in so many formats though i cannot say i’ve tried a chocolate epub. i don’t know if i can decide – in cookies, chocolate brownie, souffle, by itself, hot chocolate with schnapps, mousse, covering strawberries, covering belgium waffles, max brenner’s truffle…so much to choose from and now i want chocolate. anyway clearly no decision on the dessert front but i would prefer a digital copy :p
choclate cheesecake. print or kindle version thanks.
It would be easier to say what kind’s of chocolate I don’t like. I love candy especially Hershey’s and Lindt truffles particularly the Milk Chocolate Mint, hot chocolate, chocolate ice cream, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. also chocolate goes great with marshmallow/or toffee. thank you!
I love chocolate desserts of all kind. One of my favorites is Chocolate Volcano. If I win, my first choice would be a print copy, my second choice epub for NOOK. Thanks for the giveaway.
Well, this sounds utterly charming. Light paranormal, Paris, and chocolate? Sign me up! My first choice of format would be Kindle; otherwise, print is peachy.
It’s hard to pick a favorite chocolate dessert when I love it all, but I make a mean vegan Orange Chocolate Upside-Down cake, so I’m going with that one.
sounds like a good read! my favorite chocolate dessert that i’ve ever had was a little dark chocolate bag (made by rolling chocolate around on the inside of a wax paper bag-then remove the paper) filled with chocolate mousse and fresh fruit…yummm!
Sounds like a great read! I love anything chocolate … but I think the best thing ever is chocolate chip cookie dough truffles … got the recipe from Paula Deen.
And just yesterday I had a mint chocolate milk shake at Arby’s that was delicious!
My first choice for format would be Kindle, but I am open to print as well. 🙂
Thanks for the opportunity!
Looks like a delicious book. My favorite chocolate dessert is chocolate pate…a rich, rich, slab of yummyness placed on top of a raspberry coulee.
My favorite chocolate dessert is my Granny’s (now made only by Mom, I need to learn the art) chocolate meringue pie, although my great-aunt Caroline made these chocolate coconut bars that come in a pretty close second. And any book where chocolate plays a central role sounds good to me — are there any recipes in it, per chance?
High cacao content milk chocolate (40% baby) or bittersweet brownies.
Either format, but prefer epub or mobi. My phone’s not picky!
My favorite chocolate dessert would be the chocolate banana pie my mom makes. Super easy and super great!
Kindle format please.
Don’t know what I did wrong, but here is my post again with my name.
My favorite chocolate dessert would be the chocolate banana pie my mom makes. Super easy and super great!
Kindle format please.
My two most FAV things in the world? Chocolate and reading. or, reading and chocolate.
Fav choc dessert: Chocolate Flourless Cake (because I have to be gluten-free, now…sob)
I would love a digital copy (ePub), if perchance I win!
Chocolate lava cake or dark chocolate with raspberries—- the best flavor combo ever!
Kindle format por favor…
Ah, an eclair, obviously! Preferably cold enough that the filling has just begun to freeze and you can feel the crystals on your tongue.
And Kindle please!
Dark chocolate with sea salt and toffee. There is no sweeter thing in the universe.
Also, I’d love a Nook format. Or paperback. I’m easy.
Flourless chocolate cake. Doesn’t even need whipped cream or ice cream or anything! Well, maybe good coffee, but that’s all!
would love paperback or kindle—thanks!
Dark chocolate caramels with sea salt are my favorite!
I would like a paperback book.
I studied in France for a year and there was a sandwich shop across from my university that made the most amazing chocolate cake. It was fudge-y and wonderful, and I’ve dreamed about it since I left 🙂
I would love either paperback or digital!
Chocolate? Anything chocolate… I love chocolate. 🙂 Chocolate is amazing. and I like my books in print or epub 😉 This book.. is very tempting. I’ve got to say.. anything to do with chocolate is tempting.
Chocolate ice cream with hot fudge topping!
My go to chocolate desert is german chocolate cake. There’s something about the combination of the delicious chocolate cake and the gooey coconut pecan frosting that makes me happy every time I have a slice. 🙂 Either paper or digital works for me!
