I decided that for once I was going to be very thoughtful before I answered the question. In all truth I don’t think the book I want to read has been written yet. I’d finally like to be able to read a historical romance where the “elders” (and I mean the same age as “old people” are today – in their mid-60’s!
After all we have to listen all the time to being a Senior citizens I want a little excitement in my life and why can’t we be the hero and heroine at least once instead of our grandchildren?
Think about it – all those people that were hippies in their youth are finally looking for a historical book where the “staring” characters are like them.
Okay, so I wasn’t a hippy, instead I was working full time and going to college at night but I did like the short skirts and the headbands (does that count?).
So any authors out there – think about it – an old duke and his duchess might be pretty interesting afterall – just be sure to include a little humor in there as well!
Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs
