You've likely seen this, but if you haven't, “Where the Hell is Matt?” released a 2012 video, and it'll make you smile-cry.
Link!
What's one place on earth you want to go and dance? I hope your weekend is full of the best kind of dancing, home or away or in between.
Sarah, WHY must you make me cry every. single. Friday????
Matt wins at life in general.
Did he honestly travel to all these places featured in the video? Nice video, although in all honesty didn’t care much for it. Probably my ideal places to dance at would be either Hawaii or South Korea.

Totally smiled-cried. Loved it!
Oh and I’d love to dance with one of the African tribes
What wins me over in all of these videos is that he obviously loves meeting new people and experiencing new cultures and gets them to join in to say “hi” to all of us who watch…Frankly most videos you see in the media showing some kind of group effort are about conflicts, and it’s nice to see folks get together to do something that is just all about fun.
I totally smile-cried. That was an awesome way to start my day. It put me in a good mood for my job interview later today.
Luck with your job interview DreadPirateRachel. A timely excuse to give a shout-out to all my Argentine Tango peeps, since this weekend is the Big Apple Tango Festival.
Aw, man. When I saw the “smile-cry” and started watching, I was thinking, “This is awesome! Why would I cry?” And then….I did.
Yes, Matt travels to all the places shown in his videos.
It started as a joke with a friend, while he was traveling in Asia and keeping a blog to update his family. The joke turned into a job, when Stride paid him to travel the world and make a video in 2006 and one in 2008. This is his fourth video shot all over the world.
Thanks Sarah, third time I saw it, and it still gives me both tears and smiles.
I don’t know where I would go dancing… Maybe a glacier on Iceland, or middle of nowhere Australia?
Happy-feeling, now. Thank you.
I’ve seen his other videos. They are such pure joy. Add me to the list that smiles and cries every time!
I love how much fun everyone is having in this video. Too often I’m too self conscious to really let myself go and dance like a fool.
Plitvice Lakes National Park. Thank you, PBS.
Why can’t it always be like that everywhere? What is wrong with us?
It seems the answer to life and everything is pretty simple, People. More dancing!
I love Matt’s videos. If ever there was an ambassador to the finer qualities of humanity, it’s Matt.
As for dancing, I’d love to dance at Rannoch Moor, Scotland
I want to dance at a Kyoto shrine and in the middle of downtown Tokyo (:
