According to Jeaniene Frost, our review of Halfway to the Grave was the first review for her 2007 debut novel. I still remember Hubby picking the book up off the dining room table and asking me what it was – the cover is still very striking, and I believe the same model has been used for the series.

Electonics! My netbook full of my music, photos, internet capabilities with ability to download my audiobooks to listen to while I knit. That means I’ll need my yarn stash and knitting needles and associated gadgets. My Kindle.

I’m going to have to bring several dozen books to the grave with me, but then, since my Heaven is a combo used and new bookstore where everything is free, I probably won’t need to bring anything. Perhaps a very large bag.
Bonus material for me would be a couple of extra hours to the day, a nice cup of hot cocoa with whipped cream (I miss you chocolate), the dogs, and a great book. The perfect bonus for me.

For whatever reason when I read Halfway to the Grave, it was exactly what I wanted, like someone wrote a book just for me. Was the first time ever I emailed and author and told her she was wonderful.
