Smart Bitches Hanukkah Festival Giveaway: Part Four!

imageHanukkah, oh Hanukkah, it’s not getting old yet, the candle lighting and the present opening and the awesome fried foods!

So, let’s bring in more festival merriment to celebrate reading of both digital and paper books with yet another giveaway! I have a collection of urban fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romance. It’s kinda huge. Huge like a sword that’s twice as long as three heroines, all wearing leather pants with just a hint of muffin top.

All you have to do to win is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). The tallest candle in the menorah is called the “shammash,” and it means “helper.” It lights the other candles, unless you drop it. Then it’s helping you burn yourself. Many bags look like, but most menorahs, or menorot, look different.

Ahoy! Contest the fourth!

On the Fourth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A massive selection of urban fantasy, science fiction and paranormal romance!

Just leave a comment below, and tell me which of the outfits pictured above you’d like to wear (I want the one from the Zoe Archer cover because I am COLD) or which paranormal/urban fantasy clothing item is your fave. Come on, someone loves those leather pants, and The UF Belt (which I’ve now seen on shoes, bags, even headbands. Seriously. Whatever is coming to destroy the earth, we’ll look silly, or good, defending it). Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming soon. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and we are only HALFWAY done with the crazy up in here!

Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

I would look awesome in that outfit on “Goddess of Legend”~

  2. Camilla says:

I would be most likely to wear the outfits Mercy wears on any of the Patricia Briggs novels…with the caveat that I would like to look like Mercy in them!!!

  3. Reneesance says:

I’ll take the outfit on Wolfsbane.  As long as it comes with a wolf because that’s what all the really stylish urban fantasy heroines accessorize with you know 🙂

  5. Flo says:

I’d want to wear the simple tunic and belt from Lord of the Fading Lands, because it appears to come with a giant, lavender eyed, fire breathing Jaguar head accessory.  If it didn’t come with the monster cat, I’d like the outfit from The Crowded Shadows, though I hope never to be in a fiery jungle where I need to dual wield dagger and sword- there might be ROUS or Dread Pirates there.

  6. Carol Stoneburner says:

Given I’m currently in the middle of Stranger, Rebel is what I’d obviously go to next 🙂

  7. S.E. says:

Ooh, I like the PC Cast cover. I’d wear that one.

  8. Lynn says:

I love the color and style of the dress on Crown of Crystal Flame. Also, wouldn’t mind the outfit on In the Dark of Dreams.
    Thanks for the giveaway.

  9. Carolyn Hester says:

I would definitely want to wear the dress from Queen of Song and Souls!

  10. Karen H says:

CL Wilson’s Crown of Crystal Flame.  I love medieval style dresses with the big sleeves (though I know I’d drag them into everything, including my dinner) and it’s blue.

  11. samjencarl says:

I would go with the leather pants perhaps paried with a leather bustier (I’ve got Larissa Ione’s “Sin Undone” sitting on my desk for inspiration).  Living in Florida the whole idea of wearing leather is quite the fantasy …

  12. Meggrs says:

I have the UF belt, baby! I wear it every day, but since I also wear torso-lengthening long shirts, it’s almost never seen.

I’m a UF heroine. In secret. Heh.

    Hope your Hanukah is lovely!

  13. JC says:

I’m totally digging Patricia Brigg’s cover’s outfit.  It looks relatively comfortable, which leather pants do not.

  14. Zsa Zsa says:

Mmmmm, that delicious demon from the dark would be very fun to wear. That has to be my favorite cover especially since i know a guy with gorgeous abs like those.

hold64: oh i’d definitely love to hold him for 64 minuets.

  15. Married with Zombies looks good.  As do the rest.  😀

  16. Claudia S says:

I’ll have to go for Jasper’s Afterlight: leather pants, tattoos and a big knife—perfect for grocery shopping.

These77—these 77 costumes are definitely something we should wear at the supermarket!

  17. Gwynnyd says:

I want the random bits of light from “Goddess of Legend”, because I figure if I get those, I’ll have the goddess powers too and can magic my body back to, oh, 25 or so to go with it and control the weather to make it nice all the time.

  18. leah w says:

Those boots on Wolfsbane. *love* And hell, throw in the staff too. I could pull that off.

  19. Misty L says:

    ShaZAAM!!!

  20. Melissandre says:

Do I get the whole closet-full?  If not, probably the outfit in Wolfsbane.  It seems to have the most balanced sexy-to-practical ratio.  Gotta have a little of both.

  21. Dena says:

I’d wear the Patricia Briggs outfit first I think.  It has a staff!  For hitting people!

  22. Aelfwynn says:

I’d like to wear what’s on Patricia Briggs’s cover.

  23. tonya says:

I personally like the UF belt. If only I had the waist to wear it!

  24. Kbrum says:

The outfit on the Zoe archer book.w

  25. Jessica G. says:

Hrmm, I’ve only read one of these books (Rebel), and that one I could send to a friend, so I’ll go ahead and drop in a comment.

Wolfsbane by Patricia Briggs *runs to goodreads to check release date*

Can I pick one of the men as my outfit? A couple of those gents would do nicely.

  26. Laura I says:

Yesterday here was so the right weather for the outfit on Afterlight. If I had the body. Would love to read the books.

  27. Lori S. says:

I’ll go with the outfit on COCF, but I’d love to lick the chest of that guy on Kressley Cole’s book.  LOL.

  28. misti says:

Ooooooh, I could totally pull off the outfit from the cover of Patricia Briggs’ book. It seems like an understated sort of pretty which I love.

  29. SheaLuna says:

I’m all about the tats.  I am a chickenshit and won’t get any of my own, but I lurves looking at the pretty tats.  Especially when they are on half nekked gorgeously tasty manliness.

  30. Ann Rose says:

My first thought was the outfit from Afterlight, but if I had to get all those tattoos, then no.Realistically, I’ll go with Wolfsbane—love those boots!

  31. Kristi says:

Crown of Crystal Flame definitely. Who wouldn’t love to prance around in that getup? I would!

  32. peggy h says:

I have to go with the Zoe Archer one for the same reason stated in the post—I’m feeling COLD!  Brrrr!

  33. Christina says:

Dying for this one because I want to read Married with Zombies!

  34. Joani S says:

That’s an awesome selection of books. I’m dying to read Afterlight!! Thanks for the chance!!

  35. Nico B Lucky says:

Not sure about the clothing, but I would love to get a tattoo that covers my entire back. Like Phedre’s marque or the cover of Afterlife. Too bad the sound of the tattoo needle tool sends me into seizure-like episodes.

  36. Beret Brenckman says:

I like the dress from the Crown of Crystal Flame.  I also liked the book so that’s handy!  Plus, I’m a plus size so that’s the only one that covers my happy food rolls!

  37. Jayne says:

What a coincidence! I am already wearing the dress from the cover of Crown of the Crystal Flame, but I spilled tomato sauce on it an need a replacement.

  38. pam noonan says:

Ummm I wanna wear one of the gentlemen if you get my meaning hubba hubba..ugg never mind anything will do

  39. Julia says:

I’d wear Crown of Crystal Flame’s dress 🙂

  40. I’d wear the one from the Crown of the Flalming Something or other…. because the females on the other covers are wearing outfits far too skimpy for my tastes (and my body right now).
