Smart Bitches Hanukkah Festival Giveaway: Part Four!

imageHanukkah, oh Hanukkah, it’s not getting old yet, the candle lighting and the present opening and the awesome fried foods!

So, let’s bring in more festival merriment to celebrate reading of both digital and paper books with yet another giveaway! I have a collection of urban fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romance. It’s kinda huge. Huge like a sword that’s twice as long as three heroines, all wearing leather pants with just a hint of muffin top.

All you have to do to win is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). The tallest candle in the menorah is called the “shammash,” and it means “helper.” It lights the other candles, unless you drop it. Then it’s helping you burn yourself. Many bags look like, but most menorahs, or menorot, look different.

Ahoy! Contest the fourth!

On the Fourth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A massive selection of urban fantasy, science fiction and paranormal romance!

Just leave a comment below, and tell me which of the outfits pictured above you’d like to wear (I want the one from the Zoe Archer cover because I am COLD) or which paranormal/urban fantasy clothing item is your fave. Come on, someone loves those leather pants, and The UF Belt (which I’ve now seen on shoes, bags, even headbands. Seriously. Whatever is coming to destroy the earth, we’ll look silly, or good, defending it). Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming soon. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and we are only HALFWAY done with the crazy up in here!

Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

If we had even a bit of cold here in South Texas, I’d go with the Rebel cover. Since it’s sunny and 70, I’ll choose the lovely blue gown from Crown of Crystal Flame.

  2. angela says:

I’d wear the outfit from PC Cast’s book as long as I got the bod to go along with it! 😛

  3. I’d like to wear Kresley Cole’s Malkom, please. NOM NOM NOM

  4. Jan Lorman says:

Wow, what an awesome giveaway. Happy Holidays all and I’d sure love to win.

    Codeword: young23 – don’t I wish!!!!! :o)

  5. Tania says:

The outfit on Patricia Briggs’s Wolfsbane. Totally looks like something I’d wear.

  6. Hezabelle says:

I’m digging the non-clothes from Afterlight. Because who doesn’t stand top naked with a knife in their hand, staring out at the world?

  7. Erica H says:

I am pretty sure I could not pull off most of those outfits. I guess I would have to go with the Patricia Briggs cover!

  8. Barbara W. says:

I’m going to need the one from Rebel, because it’s farking freezing here, although the one on P.C. Cast’s book would be awesome…if I had the bod for it.  I’d go fluttering around with Stevie Nicks songs playing in the background.

And just because I said that…

  9. Linda says:

Pc Cast, but only if I can have that flat belly, too.

  10. SandyH says:

On the one on the Crown of Crystal Flame. If I am going to live a fantasy might as well go all the way.

  11. KellyLM says:

Just finished Hungry for You this AM… awesome! Laughed all the way through it.

  12. Jaime says:

Definitely the Elle Jasper book – I want to wear just tats!

  13. cyclops8 says:

I would wear the outfit for “Wolfsbane.”

  14. Rebecca Hb. says:

I’d wear the clothes from Zoe Archer’s cover – they actually look sensible and seem to have pockets. Pockets are a key feature for any young woman.

  15. Sparrow says:

I want the *body* to wear the Goddess of Legend outfit!

  16. CC says:

I really like the dress on Crown of Crystal Flame.

  17. Rachel R says:

I’d like to wear that Kresley Cole nekkid torso. Mmmm.

  18. Sandy D. says:

ooooh, I want one. Not Rebel, cause I already bought that. Liu or Cast would be very nice.

  19. Kit says:

I would wear the Married With Zombies outfit to work (minus the heels, because after 5 minutes I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on anything other than the pain in my feet), but the Wolfsbane outfit is the perfect one for the alternate reality job where my library is like the one in Grimm Legacy by Polly Schulman…

  20. Wendy says:

I think I will have to pick the Patricia Brigg’s cover. She looks kinda bad assed and well if bad things are coming I would prefer to be prepared.

  21. Vita says:

If I’m picking what I have to wear then it’s definitely a long gown like the heroines on the C.L. Wilson covers.  They’re very forgiving.  But my fav-o-rite accessory would have to be the Nekkid hero!!!!

  22. Jo says:

The outfit the woman is wearing on the cover of Wolfsbane looks close to something I would wear.

  23. Barbara Elness says:

I like the outfit on Crown of Crystal Flame, it’s very pretty and more my speed, LOL.

  24. Lotus says:

Hmm… I think the one from the Patricia Briggs cover.  Looks fairly warm, practical, and best of all?  It comes with a WAND!

  25. magneticwave says:

Married with Zombies suits, because suits are always snazzy. I am hard-pressed to come up with a situation in which suits are not snazzy.

  26. avrelia says:

I would definitely go for one of those flowing dresses that were not fashionable in any actual historical epoch and seem to be held in place by magic.

  27. CaitlinD says:

Can I have the hair? Like a collection of glossy, shiny, flowy wigs. I assume they would come with a wind machine so I could look beautifully dishevled.

  28. Dayle says:

I would like to wear the guy on the cover of In the Dark of Dreams, please. Clothing not necessary…

  29. D.L. says:

Ok, well it’s technically not clothing but I would want to wear the tattoo from the cover of Afterlight

  30. Chris W says:

I think the tatoos!  I don’t know that I could ever do them but they are always interesting!

  31. Shell says:

I like the outfit on Brigg’s cover of Wolfsbane, i can’t stand skirts but the top helps to make it girly.. love it

  32. Kristy B. says:

The Kresley Cole cover—no outfit, but I’d wear him 🙂

  33. Jeepgirl says:

You had me at Marjorie Liu.

  34. Marie says:

Faux medieval from the Wilson covers would be fun.  😛 I never did do the whole Renaissance fair thing!

“shot57” – yes, this is probably my 57th shot at entering a book giveaway.  But entering is half the fun!

  35. Trish says:

I’d go with the mostly naked one on Kresley Cole’s. Because if HE’S that naked, I must not be wearing much more…

  36. I agree with Stacey on the blue dress 🙂

  37. Rebecca says:

I’d like to look like the lady on the cover of Afterlight, at least for a little while.  On the other hand, I’d probably still wear more, as it is currently COLD.

  38. Lil' Deviant says:

I am going to say The Mist of Time.  How cool would it be to just suddenly poof be standing their in front of your peeps.  Where did you come from?  HA!  It would be almost a super power.

  39. Daz says:

I love the dress from Wolfsbane. Gorgeous dress.

  40. elianara says:

I could try the Patricia Briggs outfit.

Oh, and I love cloaks, I would like to have a long warm nice fantasy literature cloak… hmmm, shouldn’t be too hard to make for myself, maybe I should consider doing it myself.
