Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah, it’s not getting old yet, the candle lighting and the present opening and the awesome fried foods!
So, let’s bring in more festival merriment to celebrate reading of both digital and paper books with yet another giveaway! I have a collection of urban fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romance. It’s kinda huge. Huge like a sword that’s twice as long as three heroines, all wearing leather pants with just a hint of muffin top.
All you have to do to win is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). The tallest candle in the menorah is called the “shammash,” and it means “helper.” It lights the other candles, unless you drop it. Then it’s helping you burn yourself. Many bags look like, but most menorahs, or menorot, look different.
Ahoy! Contest the fourth!
On the Fourth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A massive selection of urban fantasy, science fiction and paranormal romance!
Just leave a comment below, and tell me which of the outfits pictured above you’d like to wear (I want the one from the Zoe Archer cover because I am COLD) or which paranormal/urban fantasy clothing item is your fave. Come on, someone loves those leather pants, and The UF Belt (which I’ve now seen on shoes, bags, even headbands. Seriously. Whatever is coming to destroy the earth, we’ll look silly, or good, defending it). Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming soon. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and we are only HALFWAY done with the crazy up in here!
Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

I like the flowy dress on Crown and Crystal Flame.
What an awesome giveaway!
I’ll take the outfit from Queen of Song and Souls. The rest look too, um, cold. And you really wouldn’t want to see me in them anyway.
I am going for the Crystal Flame dress since I have a christmas party to go to and that would make me look smashing, but if I had a choice for daily wear it would be Rebel. It is 34 degress out side here in Oregon and that warmish parka looking thing would be pretty sweet this time of year.
Oh these book are an amazing bunch! Thanx ladies.
My husband wants me to dress like the Elle Jasper cover – topless if possible – but with the zero degrees fahrenheit we have here right now, I think I’d have to go with Zoë Archer 😉
Yes, my preference would be to wear Kresley Cole’s cover model, too. Seriously.
Well, for the body I *have*, I’d probably pick something like the outfit on “Crown of Crystal Flame” but for the body I’d like to have/would have if I were a supernatural romance heroine, I’d go with “Wolfsbane” or “Goddess of Legend”
The shit kicking boots – that’s what I’d want
If I truly had to pick an outfit, it would have to be what the woman is wearing in the Afterlight cover. I mean, come on! No shirt, plus leather pants? It would personally be a dream come true. Of course, I may need to lose 50 pounds but still, I would still want to wear it. NOw, if we are talking about which man I would like to wear, that is also quite simple. The man in Kresley Cole’s Demon From the Dark would be my pick. Look at him! Yummy. Plus all of her males, well mostly, are amazing.
I’d pick the one on Wolfsbane.
Aralorn’s outfit, can’t go wrong with Briggs. Though I wouldn’t turn down a man blanket to go with it. I think a quilt made up of Kresley Cole covers would keep anyone warm.
I’d wear the clothes on Brigg’s Wolfsbane cover 🙂
I’d wear the outfit from the Patricia Briggs cover.
Oh, I would have to go with the outfit on cover of C.L. Wilson’s “Crown of Crystal Flame”. It satisfies the little girl in me fantasy of a “princess dress” and big girl idea of full coverage!
That seriously sharp suit and spiky heels on the Peterson cover. Although I am not entirely sure about the meat cleaver. Bladed weapons are so personal, doncha know.
Yeah, the outfit she’s wearing in Rebel. It snowed here in Iowa today, so I’m cold.
I’d go with P.C. Cast’s outfit because nothing says sexy like some ambiguous flashes of light.
I’d go with the Wolfsbane outfit mainly because her staff is truly awesome.
Aah, the black suit to disguise my awesomeness (think urban librarian) while I assess the merits of any heroes, and plan the quiet takedown of the badasses. Time to gear up!
The tatoos, pants and the rest of the outfit on Elle Japer’s Afterlilght.
Okay, I would totally go with the outfit from Elle Jasper, Afterlight. The pants – awesome! The knife – awesome! The hair – awesome! The tattoo – awesome! The shirt – maybe awesome? Depends on if the front is tattooed also – it’ll distract from no bra situation. Maybe.
I would like to wear the sexy man thats on the cover of krelsey coles book 😉 LOL
no really.
I do think the outfit on the patricia briggs cover is good too.
Awesome contest good luck to everyone!
Can I just wear the mist all around me? There seems to be a lot of mist in urban fantasies.
Despite the lack of outfits on the cover of Afterlight, that’s what I want to wear. Just tattoos and pants. xD
I could rock the outfit on Patricia Briggs Wolfsbane – I am all about the boots but that top is pretty killer too….
*drools over books*
I’d love (to have an excuse to wear) a cloak that swirls. Or one of the flowing dresses from the Wilson covers.
Afterlife, please.
The suit on Married With Zombies! You can’t go wrong with a suit.
I, too, am entranced by the sleeves on the C.L. Wilson covers.
It’s funny, cuz I’m actually already wearing the same dress as the woman from Goddess of Legends. What a co-inky-dink.
PS- I absolutely Luuuuuuurrrve paranormal romance! Hope I win!!
ooh! UF & paranormal romance are my favorites.
i want to wear what the woman on the cover of ‘Hungry for You’ is wearing!
Definetely Afterlife! No question.
Briggs’ Wolfsbane—I like a big staff.
I’d be more likely to wear the man’s outfit on the Zoe Archer book, because I really like that retro-steampunk look.
I’d love to win these books because I’ve stayed away from PNR books, because I haven’t known which authors I’d like, and this collection sounds like a good way to dip my toe – my foot – my whole me – into a new genre.
The blue number from crystal flame. Perfect for cooking latkes.
Eeek, !
Love UF!
<-Just saying.
I’m going to go for, the most likely prominent, tattoo as the UF item I’d actually wear.
That is if I am unable to wear the cover model from
Demon from the Dark. 😉
your96 -No, you’re 96…
Briggs Wolfsbane.. because come on. If I’m gonna be kicking butt. I want to be able to actually kick and run away very fast!
music25.. only 18 more days until that music changes to a happy birthday tune of 26!!
I’d also like to “wear” the hunk from the Cole book. Yum. Meeee. 🙂
Michelle
I’d wear the clothes from the Zoe Archer book – they look comfortable, and I’m just not into rocking the leather pants with no top!
Afterlight by Elle Jasper. Cause Im pretty sure i can wear only my tattoo’s and be happy
