Smart Bitches Hanukkah Festival Giveaway: Part Four!

imageHanukkah, oh Hanukkah, it’s not getting old yet, the candle lighting and the present opening and the awesome fried foods!

So, let’s bring in more festival merriment to celebrate reading of both digital and paper books with yet another giveaway! I have a collection of urban fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romance. It’s kinda huge. Huge like a sword that’s twice as long as three heroines, all wearing leather pants with just a hint of muffin top.

All you have to do to win is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). The tallest candle in the menorah is called the “shammash,” and it means “helper.” It lights the other candles, unless you drop it. Then it’s helping you burn yourself. Many bags look like, but most menorahs, or menorot, look different.

Ahoy! Contest the fourth!

On the Fourth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A massive selection of urban fantasy, science fiction and paranormal romance!

Just leave a comment below, and tell me which of the outfits pictured above you’d like to wear (I want the one from the Zoe Archer cover because I am COLD) or which paranormal/urban fantasy clothing item is your fave. Come on, someone loves those leather pants, and The UF Belt (which I’ve now seen on shoes, bags, even headbands. Seriously. Whatever is coming to destroy the earth, we’ll look silly, or good, defending it). Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming soon. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and we are only HALFWAY done with the crazy up in here!

Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

  1. donnas says:

the dress on Crown of Crystal Flame would be fun for at least a night.

  2. Diana says:

Ooh! I want to wear the long, full-bodied red-streaked hair and tattoos like the heroine of Elle Jasper’s Afterlight!

  3. Devon says:

I have to say I would want a UF belt.  I have one already and it is the most comfortable belt I own, sadly the spikes are starting to come loose.

  4. brit says:

Okay, I am going to say Afterlight. Not for the clothes, but because I have been looking forward to getting a tattoo soon.

  5. The face of Allison says:

I’m getting my shiz ready to win some stuff, too!

    (also, Happy Hanukkah!)

  6. aRlene says:

I totally love the UF belt.  I find myself looking for it everywhere.  In fact there’s a kiosk at the mall that seems to sell them!  🙂
I would wear the blue flowy robe thing on the Crown of Crystal Flame.  No wardrobe is complete with out one of those!  Billowy sleeves, WOOT!!

read69 – read 69 UF’s with that amazing belt on the cover. 🙂

  7. P. Awful says:

I want to wear the guy on the cover of the Day of the Dragon book.  Not the outfit, the guy.

  8. April says:

I really like the Zoe Archer cover too, but I think the outfit I would like to wear the best is the one for Queen of Song and Souls.

  9. I’d like to have that Kressley Cole naked torso; sadly, it would require exercising, not reading that set of novels as “research for an article I’m writing.  Really, Shira.”

I would probably look best in the waistcoat from the Zoe Archer. though no one looks bad in Married with Zombies, I would have to regrow the pseudo-Van Dyke for our wedding pictures, when my hair was darker.

Second place: the _King of Sword and Sky_ dude, cuz he looks as if he’s a left-handed batter facing a junk-ball pitcher.

If I were allowed to cross-dress, would certainly go for the Patricia Briggs cover, complete with impalement trident, though I wish I could wear the Queen of Song and Souls with the drop belt and those sleeves that have more cloth than most chuppahs.

  10. Emily says:

I really love reading UF.  But I don’t wear the outfits.  No leather chaps, no low cut jeans, no bare bellies.  Heck, no sleeveless tank tops even.  Give me warm silk undies, thick cotton socks, and gore-tex.

  11. Rebecca says:

Swear to God, my senior prom dress looked almost exactly like the dress from the cover of Crown of Crystal Flame. Except it was black (more goth…)  So that gets my vote, if only for the embarrassing memories.

  12. My choice is having the guy from Demon from the Dark as an accessory with the outfit on the P.C. Cast Goddess cover. Or the guy from the Crown of the Crystal Flame would work, too.

    Hugs!
    Tambra

  13. Kanch says:

I’d pick the Zoe Archer because the outfit looks both kickass and comfortable.

  14. Alaina says:

That dress from Crown of Crystal Flame. Pretty sure I could rock it.

  15. Kelly L. says:

Wow, I’ll take Afterlight.  I’d pay for a back and ass that looked like that. LOL

need27—-I need to rewind to when I was 27 to look like that..:(

  16. Sarah C says:

I’d love to wear anything from a Patricia Briggs Cover.

  17. nikaile says:

I think I’m gonna have to go with Goddess of legend, cause pink magic beams are the new black.

  18. MJ says:

Pick me! Pick me! I want Elle Jasper’s Afterlight or Patricia Briggs’ Wofsbane because I like the covers LOL The women look like they can kick some serious ass while being sexy at the same time ha ha. When I grow up I want to be like them!! 😛

  19. Jacqueline C. says:

For me it’s definitely tied between the Rebel outfit and the one on the cover of Wolfsbane.

  20. Juls says:

Ok, I’m going to say the clothes from Zoe Archer’s rebel cause I need it with this stupid cold weather, but I want the guy from Demon after Dark to wear me and keep me warm. I’m sure he’d make a very good heater:•)

  21. Kate says:

This is too good of an offer to keep lurking.

  22. Beth K says:

I am all over that Goddess of Legend outfit. Nice.

And I mean that without a trace of sarcasm, obviously.

  23. Sadi says:

I’d go with the cattle prod on Patricia Briggs book.  You never know when something that will come in handy.  Happy Hanukkah!

  24. infinitieh says:

I’m going with the gal on “Rebel” as well.  It’s cold outside!

  25. Just love those covers, but I probably would end up doing the Afterlife Cover as that cover is really nice and I have a thing for tatoos. A girl needs to have her paranormal romances….

  26. emmad says:

I think I have to agree with the zoe archer one.  Mainly cause I wouldn’t wear any of the others lol

  27. Elizabeth says:

I’d go with one of the outfits from Rebel—his or hers!  Knee-high boots?  I’m there.  Goggles?  Hell yeah!

And, I’ll admit, I would happily wear leather pants if I lost fifteen pounds and found a pair in faux.

  28. Laura D. says:

At this point, I’d have to go with the outfit on Rebel by Zoe Archer.  It’s too darned cold here to wear what’s on the PC Cast book!

  29. Cat S says:

I wish I could carry the tattoos and black leather on the cover of Afterlight but I rock the Boho, so they’d look ridiculous on me.  So I have to go with the Dark of Dreams, because the heroine looks like she’s wearing some kind of hippie peasant gown.

  30. StarOpal says:

I was going to be snarky and say the Crowded Shadows’ ‘totally not phallic why does everyone say it’s phallic?!’ dagger, and then I noticed Rebel down in the corner and actually I really do like both their outfits. Specifically the boots. I have a thing for boots.
