Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah, it’s not getting old yet, the candle lighting and the present opening and the awesome fried foods!
So, let’s bring in more festival merriment to celebrate reading of both digital and paper books with yet another giveaway! I have a collection of urban fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romance. It’s kinda huge. Huge like a sword that’s twice as long as three heroines, all wearing leather pants with just a hint of muffin top.
All you have to do to win is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). The tallest candle in the menorah is called the “shammash,” and it means “helper.” It lights the other candles, unless you drop it. Then it’s helping you burn yourself. Many bags look like, but most menorahs, or menorot, look different.
Ahoy! Contest the fourth!
On the Fourth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A massive selection of urban fantasy, science fiction and paranormal romance!
Just leave a comment below, and tell me which of the outfits pictured above you’d like to wear (I want the one from the Zoe Archer cover because I am COLD) or which paranormal/urban fantasy clothing item is your fave. Come on, someone loves those leather pants, and The UF Belt (which I’ve now seen on shoes, bags, even headbands. Seriously. Whatever is coming to destroy the earth, we’ll look silly, or good, defending it). Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming soon. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and we are only HALFWAY done with the crazy up in here!
Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

I like the one from Rebel but I want my guy in the Kresley Cole!
Send me some!
I love the dress on Crown of Crystal Flame, but I have to say that conveniently placed light rays like on Goddess of Legend have their own charm. And I’m with everybody on the boots on Wolfsbane – yum!
oh yes, loving the Archer cover. especially cuz in Canada it is -3 right now, but the winds are fierce and make it -10
The Elle Jasper book. I love it when I find a pair of good-fitting jeans. The body paint looks nice, too. I suppose that if I looked like that I’d walk around shirt-less, too.
I’d wear the one on PC Cast’s cover, would make me feel like a sexy goddess.
Another vote for those major sleeves on the CJ Wilson one—I think the dress she’s wearing on Queen of Song and Souls would be my choice.
But I wouldn’t mind wearing those tattoos on Afterlight. Oh, for a job that would let me dye my hair and go in shirtless.
Girl can dream.
I’m after the outfit from Wolfsbane – it definitely looks the most manageable and it also comes with a great, big stick… Always handy!
I’ll take the outfit in Afterlight, because how cool is that to have all those neat tatoos, a very handy knife, and of course, we all need those hiphugger pants.
Gotta go with the Crown of Crystal Flame one. I mean who can resist quasi-medieval sleeves! The swoshing is just too much fun.
(we won’t talk about historically “acurate” medieval dresses with princess seams and set sleeves. 😉
Put me down for the Crown & Crystal Flame gown and is it just me or does that Goddess of Legend ensemble look like something out of a Britney Spears perfume ad?
I love Lynsay Sands.
the outfit from ‘Queen of Song’ because with those mondo long sleeves, i couldn’t possibly be expected to cook or do housework!
Well, I’d like to be able to wear the Goddess of Legend outfit, but alas. I’ll settle for the Wolfsbane outfit.
I also covet the boots on Wofsbane—I also like the leather corset in fact the entire outfit would totally rock on me
I dunno about the leather pants, but I’ll take the kick-a** tats on the Afterlight cover. Those red streaks in her ain’t so bad either…
As it’s getting progressively colder here in NE USA and the heating in my building seems to be out, I’d (just like quite a few fellow readers upthread!) would like to wear the chap from Demon from the Dark 🙂
I would wear the Rebel cover woman’s outfit (actually, the guy’s too), but maybe with the Afterlight tattoo underneath.
Mmm, mmm, I too want to be wearing the guy from the Kresley Cole cover.
Because it’s freaking hot in Australia right now and all the girl’s clothes appear to be either
a) warm
b) made from leather (sweaaty)
or c) tying your arms to your sides. what’s with that, PC Cast?
spamword anyone25 – anyone under 25 should not look at that Kresley Cole cover due to danger of spontaneous combsution from hormone overload
Id take one of the renaissance festival gowns on the C.L. Wilson covers. No one wants to see my muffin top!
The blue dress in crown of crystal thorns. It looks warmest!
I’ll take the hero’s clothes from “Rebel” all the way!
Any clothing with man attached.
I’m going with the clothes on Rebel too.
I like the blue dress in Crown of Crystal Flame the best.
Since it’s freezing here in the Midwest, Zoe Archer’s clothing would be very useful. And they’re stylish too!

Kick(ing)-ass boots!
I want the outfit in HUNGRY FOR YOU. All the most intelligent women would love to have the Hunk Blanket—warm, protective, and extremely flexible, with a lot of other functions to that garment
.
I have to say I truly love the dress on C. L. Wilson’s Crown….its gorgeous. Thank the lord it wouldn’t come with Balkie. 🙂
Zoe Archer’s Rebel, definitely!
Zoe Archer’s Rebel, most definitely!
Obviously wolfsbane.
We have a odd menorah given to my parents from my grandparents. It looks like a stylized peacock. The head is the shammash, and the other eight make the tail. It’s just for display now, since my parents prefer the more “traditional” shaped one though.
Any who, I’d want the outfit from Elle Jasper’s ‘Afterlight’. Well, the hair at least. Maybe the tattoos.
I’d go with the Married With Zombies outfit. There’s no rule that says I can’t wear killer heels while battling the undead!
Hmmm… well, I think I would have to go with “Wolfsbane”… although if I could manage the sparkly light outfit from “Goddess,” I would totally do it.
I kinda dig the one on “The Crown of Crystal Flame” ‘cause it’s a very pretty dress. I wouldn’t look good in aaaany of the clothing I see on most uf/pr books but I always appreciate it on the cover ladies.
*and cue theme music..Bananarama “I’m your goddess* begins to play” I would have to take on the ‘“soft focus, outfit of light that ‘PC Cast” has on “Goddess of Legend”..because everywoman over 40 needs special effects as she walks into the room.”
I am prepared to win some shit, as intructed.
I would love to wear the pants of Demon from the Dark. I would even let him wear me like a hat.:)
