Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah, you’re still delicious, but I’m a little tired of latkes.
But that’s ok: Han Solo is here to help. Thanks to Mama Nice for that awesome graphic.
And you know what never gets old? Free stuff! Today: another book collection, this one courtesy of Simon & Schuster, who have compiled a bunch of December books for your reading pleasure. All you have to do is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). Oy is just Yo backwards. Do not taunt happy fun ball. Not valid where prohibited by law or by that huge guy who stands at the door and decides who is cute enough to get in. That guy sucks sometimes. Do not write below this line. Falling rock. Still Slippery When Wet. No, that doesn’t get old.
Ahoy! Contest the fifth!
On the Fifth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A big ol’ selection of some December 2010 and holiday romances, with something for every reading taste: some to keep, and some to give to friends (or keep them all, I won’t tell).
Just leave a comment below, and tell me which one you’d read, or which one you’d give away, and you’re entered to win. Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming tomorrow and another chance to win. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and you need things to read or read on during the holidays, right? Right. Of course.
Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

A Hellion in Her Bed for the title alone – I think it’s hilarious!
I’ve read Blood Trinity so would share the wealth and give it to a friend 🙂
I’d share them all with my cousin. We’ve been passing romance novels back and forth ever since we started high school. (:
I would read the kresley cole one because I read a book by her this year and loved it. Now I want more 😀
I would read A Hellion in Her Bed and definitely give away the Sherrilyn Kenyon book.
Here’s hoping I win….there are some great authors in this collection!
The first book I’d read is ‘My Fair Succubi’ by Jill Myles. I loved her first two…
year of living scandalously, it looks like a fun read. and after that then i’d read deep kiss of winter. i love kresley cole.
I would definitely read One Night in Scotland first. Simply because of the amazing cover.
That Han Solo pic is best ever!!
I’d always go for Kresley Cole first, but all of these look VERY good!
I’d probably read the I’ll Be Home for Christmas anthology first… I love anthologies during the holidays, because I can pick them up and put them down easily.
well…. I would read all of them cuz the holidays are a long drawn out affair fraught with family drama. This Bitch needs to escape, because I’ll be home for Christmas (and that’s the book I’ll start with). And like a good Bee-otch, I will pass along each book after I am done. Spread the wealth!!
I would read all the books! And then, once I was done, share them with my Mom and sister, as those are the rules.
Would love some Christmas Paranormal books. They are harder to hind than you think.
I’d go for thte Sabrina Jeffries, ‘cos my first reading love is historical romances and she’s one of the Queens in that area!
Oh! more books! What fun.
I would read “Unforgivable” first because I’m a fan of the series.
A couple of months back a friend told me how absolutely amusing Sabrina Jeffries is, so that’s the book I’m entering in hopes of winning.
I draw straws to pick which book to read first.
Now I think I’ll go back to staring at that awesome Han Solo graphic.
Ecstasy of Darkness – that cover is hot.
I’d definitely start with My Fair Succubi – I need my Noah and Zane fix!
I’d give away the Julia London (but only because it’s already on its way to me!). But the rest? All mine baby! 🙂
I’m keeping them all for me and sharing with my roomie if she is so interested. Tis the season for being gluttonous, and I will be with my books and 10 days off of work!
Hmm…I think I’d try the Julia London first, since I haven’t read her. I just LURVE that you do Hanukkah contests! And I had to download the Maccabeats from iTunes…they were awesome!
Thanks!
A Highlander For Christmas. Based purely on the title.
No idea where I would start, but I’d love having the choices.
I think I’d have to start with Julia London, just because I’ve never read her before. Then, of course, I’d have to move on to A Highlander For Christmas, because nothing says the holiday season like a shirtless man in a kilt.
I’d read the Linda Lael Miller book I’ll be home for Christmas and then give it to my mom to read.
I’d read them all. Screw the friends, that’s what gift cards are for!
Mmm… I’d love a “Highlander for Christmas” (Purrs at the thought of Scottish Brogue and hot hot man combo)
Mari
I’d read the Year of Living Dangerously first…it looks good!
Now, this is a contest for me! And I would read them all and keep them all, bahahaha!!!! 🙂 🙂
I’d read “I’ll be home for Christmas” while drinking hot chocolate and listening to Christmas Carols. Seasonal books are fun. Not sure which I would gift, they all look good. I’d probably invite my BFF over to choose a couple and then plan to meet in a week to trade.
Happy Holidays!
I’d read them all, and I’d start with One Night in Scotland.
OMG, I want them all! But I’d share the wealth as soon as I was done, promise!
I would definitely read the London and Jeffries first! They all look wonderful!
I’d give my friend A Highlander for Christmas- she’s in love with men in kilts.
It would have to be a “Hellion in her Bed”, cause the man’s away in A’stan. I’d give my bestfriend “A Highlander for Christmas” because her man is away as well.
And I’d give her chocolate and Walker’s shortbread to go with it.
Then we’d swap. I’d swap and circulate the pile through all my friends who have husbands away again this December. (OK, out of the last three December’s this is their second one away and we’re starting to feel sorry for ourselves).
Oh my I haven’t read any of them so I’d keep them all. I’d happily lend out after I have devoured though. LOL
I would nom the Jill Myles as soon as it came through my door. 🙂
