imageHanukkah, oh Hanukkah, you’re still delicious, but I’m a little tired of latkes.

But that’s ok: Han Solo is here to help. Thanks to Mama Nice for that awesome graphic. image And you know what never gets old? Free stuff! Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). Oy is just Yo backwards. Do not taunt happy fun ball. Not valid where prohibited by law or by that huge guy who stands at the door and decides who is cute enough to get in. That guy sucks sometimes. 1. Emma says:

Ummm….all of them?  I’m underfunded in the book-buying department and need to read them all!  But I think I would start with a “The Year of Living Scandalously” by Julia London and then “Aching for Always” because I cannot imagine how that girl got hooker heels way back then.

  2. SaraC says:

I would definitely start with Deep Kiss of Winter! I’ve been waiting for that book.

  3. Amanda D. says:

Tired of latkes?! Blasphemy, but then again, I could live off of any type of potato product. Oh, the carbs!

I would choose to keep all of these books. I’m like Gollum and his precious when it comes to literature. I’d read A Highlander for Christmas because it’s certainly a step up from asking for a pony or an easy bake oven, which is what frequented my Christmas list for probably the first twelve years of my life.

  4. Karen says:

I would read them all! Because I have a fluid mechanics final tomorrow and after that, my brain needs something non-technical and happy to read. (You would think a textbook that has a whole chapter devoted to head, fluids, and pumps would be great but no, they had to ruin that for me too!)

  5. Lisa says:

Han Solo is the reason I love me a bad boy.  Love the picture of him holding the menora – awesome-sauce.

  6. Vita says:

I’d have to start with A Hellion in Her Bed, ‘cause isn’t that what we all want for the holidays?  Or any other time of year, really.

  7. Joani S says:

Man I love that graphic, I almost spit coffee out of my mouth looking at that! 🙂 I think I’d have to start with Deep Kiss of winter, then pick up Ecstasy on Darkness, I don’t own that one yet, and I usually pick hers up as soon as they come out, but I was out of work most of the summer, so less books bought. But all those look like they could keep me warm thru the winter, thanks!!

  8. Amberly says:

    Showalter’s Ecstasy in Darkness

    thanks

  9. Kristy B. says:

Linda Lael Miller’s I’ll be Home for Christmas!

  10. Abra says:

I’d read *Blood Trinity* first, because I love falling asleep to a good audiobook.  Then, if it wasn’t embarassingly sexy, I’d give it to my brother to keep him entertained on his cross-country drive back to grad school after Christmas.

  11. Lauren says:

The cover of Aching for Always completely leaped out at me. The title has some pretty awesome alliteration also. Sometimes I’m a sucker for cover art and an intriguing title, so I’d probably read Gwyn Cready’s book first (and then yes, I’d read the rest of them, because my pals aren’t as convinced as I am about the awesomesauce that is romance. They’d likely see any of those covers and think it was a gag gift. . . their loss!).

  12. Erica H says:

I would have to read Karen Hawkins first. There is something about her stories that are perfect for the holidays!

  13. Jennifer in GA says:

I’d read A Hellion in Her Bed, then I’d pass it on to by sister Helen, who we have nicknamed “Hellion”. 😉

  14. Lynn says:

I haven’t read a good time travel in a while, so I would read Aching for Always first with Earl of Darkness a close second since the blurb sounds really interesting.
I would give away A Hellion in Her Bed (great book!) and A Highlander for Christmas since I already own these.

  15. MeganS says:

First I’d read The Year of Living Scandalously! But I might be tempted to crack open one of the Christmas books before.

(And I love love love that “putting the Han back into Hanukkah” graphic.)

  16. Alaina says:

i would give away A Highlander for Christmas because I’ve just read few Scottish romances in a row, and I just don’t think I could stomach another one right now!

  17. Wendy says:

Let’s see I would read teh Sherrilyn Kenyon book first but I would give the Sabrina Jeffries book to my friend since I have already own it and loved it, so I would get to share.

  18. Olivia says:

Judging books by covers, I’d try the Laura Griffin one first.

  19. Vanessa says:

I’d read them all and then swap them all with my friend.  We regularly swap boxes of books.

  20. Raine says:

I think I would start by reading the holiday themed ones first, or maybe make a list such as start with the covers with shirt undone but still tucked in then move on to the outside without a shirt….

  21. Laura (in PA) says:

My sister loves Linda Lael Miller, so that would go right to her. I’d start with Laura Griffin.

  22. Sarah McG says:

I’d read Sabrina Jefferies first. And I’d probably give away the Julia London because I haven’t enjoyed any of her books so far. Sorry London fans!

  23. Sarah A says:

Really want to read My fair succubi!

  24. maru says:

I would read the Kresley Cole book because I love anything that she writes.

  25. Katrina says:

I’m afraid I’d have to keep them all, at least until I finished reading them. Then I’d decide which to give away.

  26. Barbara W. says:

I think I’d read Aching for Always because I’m a shallow bitch and I love the dress, but then again, I might read Hellion in Her Bed, because I’m a shallow bitch and I love the title.

I might give a couple away because my mom raised me to be benevolent once in a while.  🙂

  27. Trudi Geniale says:

I read them all, I only read romances and my favorites are historical.  I read just about everyone that comes out.  I love to read.
Happy Hannukah and Merry Christmas to All!

  28. Denise says:

I’d go for One Night in Scotland and Earl of Darkness.  Capes are awesome.  And who wouldn’t want to spend a night in Scotland?

  29. Teri C says:

I would read them all and gift A Year Living Scandously (since I already have that title) and after reading I would pass them all on to my library since they lost a lot of funding and they love me giving them nice new book.

  30. CS says:

Ohhhh—pretties… I’m also leaning towards a blue cover!

  31. Ali says:

A Highlander for Christmas sounds perfect for this time of year.

  32. Sarah says:

Hellion in Her Bed would be my starting point and I would move on from there!

  33. Kaya H. says:

I would love them all and gift away a few that I already have copies of. The first book I would read would be Deep Kiss of Winter. Then I want to read Karen Hawkins since i heard such good things about that book.
Ohh what a wonderful selection ladies!

  34. Jayne says:

Kresley Cole! She’s my favorite romance author ever, and her novella is one of the only books of hers that I haven’t read!

  35. Gina says:

I’d read One Night in Scotland firsts, simply because there’s a cape on the cover.

  36. Betsy says:

I would read One Night in Scotland first, even though I’ve never read a ‘highland romance’ before, just cuz I’ve been fantasizing lately about moving to Scotland.  Also the cover model is pretty.

  37. OOOH Sabrina Jeffries AND Julia London? They might need to battle it out for first read!

  38. MaryK says:

I’d read Haunted by Your Touch because I’ve been meaning to try Jeaniene Frost.

  39. Mickie T says:

I’ve read some already, but it’s been a looooong time since I’ve read any historical romances, so I might start with The Year of Living Scandalously. Then I’d call my best friend and gloat. And share, too, but the gloating would come first!

  40. MysteeBee says:

I’m so blinded by the shiny excitement that I can’t decide which book I’d read first!
“One Night in Scotland” is looking particularly enticing, however…
I’ve been wanting to try some Kresley Cole, so that might win out for number one.
