Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah, you’re still delicious, but I’m a little tired of latkes.
But that’s ok: Han Solo is here to help. Thanks to Mama Nice for that awesome graphic.
And you know what never gets old? Free stuff! Today: another book collection, this one courtesy of Simon & Schuster, who have compiled a bunch of December books for your reading pleasure. All you have to do is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). Oy is just Yo backwards. Do not taunt happy fun ball. Not valid where prohibited by law or by that huge guy who stands at the door and decides who is cute enough to get in. That guy sucks sometimes. Do not write below this line. Falling rock. Still Slippery When Wet. No, that doesn’t get old.
Ahoy! Contest the fifth!
On the Fifth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A big ol’ selection of some December 2010 and holiday romances, with something for every reading taste: some to keep, and some to give to friends (or keep them all, I won’t tell).
Just leave a comment below, and tell me which one you’d read, or which one you’d give away, and you’re entered to win. Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming tomorrow and another chance to win. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and you need things to read or read on during the holidays, right? Right. Of course.
Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

I’d read One Night in Scotland, because I’ve never read anything with Scottish guys in it, and that gets a lot of girls hot in the pants, so there must be something worthwhile to the genre. Right?
Well these are all beautiful books. Lets see I definitely would read Blood Trinity and give away “A Hellion in Her Bed”. These covers are beautiful
A Hellion in Her Bed, because that cover just screams “in his pants” to me.
Love the “Han” in Hanukkah!
I was flipping between three of the books and then I saw the collection “Haunted by Your Touch” with a story by Jeaniene Frost – sign me up, baby! I love her books, don’t have this one. I’m crossing my fingers.
I would def read the Karen Hawkins book first!
I fell in love with her teen romance and still love her today!
Well, I looked at them all and then selected my top three. Out of my top three, I picked A Hellion In Her Bed.
I’d give away Laura Griffin’s book because I already have an autographed copy and it is made of such awesomeness, I would want to share!
Happy Hanunkah, Sarah. You, too, are made of much awesomeness!
Throwing my hat in the ring. Great books here!
I’m a total sucker for anthologies, so I’d probably read Haunted by Your Touch first, although Deep Kiss of Winter sounds great too.
I’d read the Julia London book since I’ve been meaning to pick it up.
Wow. That’s a tough one. I’d probably read Haunted by your Touch first. I’ve been waiting for that one. 🙂
I’d go for a Highland for Christmas first. 🙂
I’d read and keep em all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That “Aching for Always” cover is amazing… and it’s going on my list, right now.
I would do eenie-meanie-miney-mo to pick which one to read first!
I’d give away Hellion in her Bed. Great story that I read last. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
I give away Hellion in her Bed. It was a great book!
I’d try the aching for always I think cause she’d be a new author for me and I’d give the Linda Miller away.
I would read “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” by Linda Lael Miller. I just finished “The Christmas Brides” by the same author. I loved the stories! 😉
Is it the smartest comment that gets picked? The funniest? The randomest?
I’d go with Blood Trinity and give my friend Linda the Kresley Cole!
Based on the covers alone, I’d love to read Aching for Always because I’d want to know what body part is always aching, and if it’s aching in a good way or bad.
For the ones that I might not read, I’d definitely donate to my local public library (services about 1500 people). They’re currently trying to raise funds for a building project, and they don’t have a lot of money for expanding the collection.
I’ve found that I usually really enjoy Simon&Schuster; books, so I’d probably read them all. The only one I’d give away is the Jeffries, because I already have it on my Kindle.
I heart Linda Lael Miller and Laura Griffin! I will drop everything to read either of those!
I would read Haunted by Your Touch, among others and probably give away A Hellion in Her Bed.
Happy Holidays!
A Highlander for Christmas it is! My addiction to Scots is ridiculous, but it would really trim my tree!
I would probably read the Linda Lael MIller book first.
I’d start with Ecstasy in Darkness and then…read all the rest! Call me Grinchy, but I’d probably keep all of them 😀
capcha: comes73…hubba hubba!
Luckily I would be able to read them all no matter which ones I gave away..
would keep the Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole, Jeanine Frost & Sabrina Jefferies. Already have Blood Trinity. The rest would be given away, but they usually come back for me to read : )
Love your disclaimers..
Thank you very much for doing these giveaways.. it’s very much appreciated..
Hope your having a Wonderful Hanukkah
I would probably read Ecstasy of Darkness.
Aching for always to read first because I am sucker for pretty things and that dress sure is pretty 😉
I would read aching for always to find out why that chick’s legs are strangely detached from her body. There’s gotta be some heavy drama involved!
Oy, I’d probably read the Sherrilyn Kenyon book first, and then I’d work my way through the rest of the stack! Wait, no, I’d give some away. Maybe. 🙂
First I would read Haunted by Your Touch. Because I have been waiting for this one. Then I would read the Christmas/Holiday themed ones.
A great selection of books. I’d especially like to read the anthology Haunted by Your Touch, as well as Sandy Blair’s, Karen Hawkins’, and Jill Myles’ books. I’d give my sister Laura Griffin’s book because she loves romantic suspense more than I do.
Hmm…Probably the Julia Quinn book. She’s been hit-and-miss for me recently, but when she’s on she’s great.
Kresley Cole would be the first read.
I would read the Julia London and give away the Sabrina Jefferies. Gotta love historical romance!
Hmmm, probably Kresley Cole’s book first then Laura Griffin..I’d probably read them all quickly then decide which to keep & which to give to my sister and friends.
